HOW IT WORKS
Aclare uses humidity from the air to create a photocatalytic reaction between the
germicidal UV lamp and multi-metallic and titanium dioxide coatings on the target
area of the lamp module. is reaction produces hydroxyl radicals and superoxide
ions. As they are emitted into the room they destroy microorganisms like bacteria,
fungi and mold, and oxidize odors and toxic chemical gases.
INSTALLATION/OPERATION
Plug Aclare into a standard 120 volt wall outlet only. For convenient positioning,
it may be turned either up or down to plug into power source (see bottom page 6).
Aclare will automatically begin to operate and the lamp module will illuminate.
To insure proper air ow, keep the surrounding area free of clutter.
To discontinue use, unplug Aclare from the wall outlet. Firmly grip the base of the
unit and gently pull from the outlet.
Aclare is designed to cover up to 750 square feet. It is a good idea to keep the product
centrally located in your home when using one air purier and move it around to vari-
ous problem areas as needed. If possible, we recommend using multiple air puriers in
multiple locations around your home. Aclare is designed for continuous use.

ZONE PURIFICATION®
When considering the average home that has central air conditioning and heating, it is
far more eective to have air ducts feeding every room in the home, rather than having
a window unit or a replace to cool/heat the entire home. e technology in your
Aclare works with the same concept. In fact, no air purier can work eciently by
trying to treat an entire home from one location. is is why we recommend moving
it around to various problem areas or using multiple air puriers for Zone Purication.
Please refer to “10 Purication Tests” (page 8) for ideas on how to better use your
Aclare Air Puriers.

fying process in your home or vehicle. It’s not necessary to do any of these processes, but
they are recommended. Taking these steps can provide amazing results and they are
well worth your time. Read the instructions carefully to reap the maximum benets.
You see, Aclare not only puries air, but all your home surfaces as well; carpets, clothes,
towels, shoes… and the list goes on. Experiment! Your Aclare is portable—move it
around. Sanitize and bathe your entire home. Once you’ve puried your home, place
your Aclare in a central location and let it maintain pure clean air continuously.
NOTE: When using an extension cord with your Aclare (as called for in some of the
tests), always keep away from water, excessive heat and avoid pinching the cord.
#1—HEATING & COOLING PURIFICATION
A. Plug Aclare into an extension cord.
B. Place directly in front of and facing the air return/intake of your ventilation
system.
C. Now, turn the heating/cooling system fan on—set for continuous operation.
D. Allow this setup to run for at least 12 hours—or until you smell fresh, clean
air coming out of the vents farthest from the return/intake. You can let it run
this way all day while you’re away (open your closet doors to freshen your clos-
ets at the same time).

Doing this will concentrate the eect, helping treat accumulation on both
the pillows and the mattress from the previous user.
8

if you can smell mold or mildew, you could be at serious risk. So, removing
and/or signicantly reducing this exposure is important.
NOTE: For severely aected or damp areas, consider a dedicated Aclare. Also,
when purifying for purging purposes and when oxidizing mold, you may
notice a bleach-like smell resembling chlorine until there is a reduction break-
through of the mold.
#4—SANITIZE YOUR BATHROOM
