EU Regulations:
All BA protection devices connected to a potable water net-
work have to be provided at the discharge outlet with an air-
break before connecting to the drainage system. This air-
gap/tundish set of Watts satisfy’s the prescriptions as descri-
bed in clause 9 of the standard EN1717:2000 and the requi-
rements of the product standard EN 12729 / clause 8.2.

Tous les dispositifs de protection de type BA raccordés à un
réseau d’eau potable comportent un dispositif d’évacuation
de l’eau, celui-ci doit être équipé d’une rupture de charge
avant la décharge dans le réseau d’évacuation. Cet entonnoir
WATTS avec garde d’air satisfait aux exigences décrites dans
le paragraphe 9 de la norme EN1717:2000 et à la norme
produit EN12729 / paragraphe 8.2.

Der Entleerungs-Anschluss der Entlastungsventile aller BA-
Systemtrenner die an ein Trinkwassernetz angeschlossen wer-
den, muss mit freiem Auslauf an das Entwässerungssystem
angeschlossen werden. Dieses Trichterset von Watts ist mit
einer freien Auslaufstrecke versehen, wie sie in Abschnitt 9
der Norm EN1717:2000 und EN12729/ Abschnitt 8.2
beschrieben und gefordert ist.

Tutti i dispositivi di protezione BA allacciati alla rete di acqua
potabile devono essere provvisti sullo scarico di un imbuto
prima del collegamento al sistema di scarico. Il set dell’im-
buto della Watts soddisfa le prescrizioni descritte
al punto 9 della normativa EN1717:2000 e i requisiti della
normativa EN 12729 / punto 8.2.

Alle BA beveiliging toestellen welke zijn aangesloten op het
waternetwerk moeten zijn voorzien van een afvoer met lucht-
inlaat voordat het vervuilde water het afvoersysteem bereikt.
Deze trechterset 1717 DN15 tot en met DN250 is conform
de regelgeving NEN-EN1717 en voldoet aan: EN12729,
VEWIN werkblad WB 3.8.

Connect the Air gap / tundish set (1) with o-ring (2) to the
relief side of the protection device BA 009/ 909 and screw
down the bolts (3)

Raccorder l’entonnoir garde d’air (1) avec son joint (2) à la
soupape de vidange du disconnecteur BA 009/909 en vissant
les vis (3)

Verbinden Sie die Auslaufstrecke/Trichterset (1) zusammen
mit dem O-Ring (2) mit dem Entlastungsventil des System-
trenner BA 009/ 909 und drehen Sie die Schrauben ein (3)

Collegare l’imbuto (1) con l’o-ring (2) allo scarico del disposi-
tivo di protezione BA 009/ 909 e avvitare i bulloni (3)

Before placing the PVC pipe to the Tundish the pipe has to
be scoured, then spread the PVC glue to the pipe and con-
nect the pipe to the Air gap/tundish 1717 set.

Avant de raccorder le tube d’évacuation en PVC, bien pon-
cer l’entonnoir garde d’air et le tube PVC, appliquer ensuite
la colle afin d’assurer l’étanchéité de l’ensemble. Assurer
vous du bon résultat.

Bevor das PVC-Rohr mit der Auslaufstrecke verbunden

Prima di collegare il tubo di scarico in PVC all’imbuto, il
tubo deve essere pulito; poi spalmare la colla per PVC sul
tubo e collegarlo al set imbuto 1717

Voor het plaatsen van de afvoerbuis dient deze eerst te wor-
den geschuurd. Verlijm daarna de afvoerpijp aan de trechter
met PVC lijm.
