Electrostimulation
Equipment
Our WKB008 is a electrostimulation digital instrument (EMS) with pulsed microcurrent.
Touch screen with 10 output channels. It includes 20 electrodes (10 big and 10 small), 2
connectors and 20 elastic belts to hold the electrodes. Ideal to eliminate fat and liquid by
activating the lymphatic drainage thanks to the muscle contraction, the cellular
oxygenation and the muscle strengthening and reeducation.
Connections are on the rear panel. Connect as follows, from left to right:
•Plug in the power cable (200-240V 50Hz).
•Connect properly the cables to the 2 connectors for electrostimulation. The first
connector for EMS from 0 to 4 and the second one for EMS from 5 to 9.
•To switch on the device, press the button on the front panel and then click on the
Weelko logo on the touch screen to select the desired menu. Choose “EMS” to start
with the electrostimulation.

Mode:on the function EMS, the “MODE” menu allows choosing the working frequency for
the electrostimulation in 4 programs A, B, C and D.
Intensity: it can be independently adjusted on each electrode from 1 to 15.In case of
programs C and D, the intensity is enough for a functional activity until the contraction is
visible.
Time: to specify the time of the treatment. In case of programs A and B the recommended
time is 45 min. In case of programs C and D, the recommended time is 20-30 min.
maximum.
Play and Pause:to start or pause the device when necessary.
The electrodes should be placed according to the following instructions. The red cable is
the positive pole and has to be placed on the motor point or the muscle belly. The black
cable will be the negative pole and will be placed on the electrode close to the muscle
insertion.

The electrostimulation consists of using electric current to induce a muscle contraction. This machine has 10 sets of electrodes of electric stimulation
with pulsed wave, which will provide electric pulses to work muscle and bioelectric stimulation to improve its function, accelerate the fat metabolism,
contribute to lose weight and muscle toning.
When applying electrotherapy to strengthen the muscles, one of the electrodes has to be placed on a motor point or on the muscle belly and the other
one on the muscle extension so that the electrostimulation allows a strong and effective isometric contraction. This way the current will run between
both electrodes from one pole to the other in the muscle fibres direction in order to make the most of the treatment. So in case you want to stimulate the
most superficial muscles, place the electrodes in parallel in the direction of the muscle fibres and in case of deep tissues you need to place the
electrodes transversely.
Leave a space of 5cm. between them, apply enough conductive gel and adjust them to the customer skin with the elastic belts.
Regarding the electrode position on the abdomen, please place a couple of them below the last two ribs (above the navel) and the second set just below
the navel at the height of the iliac crests.
Time of treatment:
Time needs to be adjusted according to the desired objectives and the area to work. If you seek to strengthen the muscles, between 10 and 20 minutes
are recommended. To re-educate the muscle, not more than 20 minutes are needed in a single session. In case of the aesthetic treatments, it is
recommended to work between 30 and 45 minutes, from 6 to 8 sessions, 2 or 3 max. per week.

4 working modes are provided:
Mode A, stimulates at a10 Hz frequency, basically recommended for treatments against slight flaccidity, for sensitive people, to relax muscles
(anesthetic). It improves circulation and the aerobic endurance.
Mode B, stimulates at a20 Hz frequency, basically recommended for treatments against medium flaccidity, mostly appropriate for small muscles. It
improves the muscle aerobic endurance and the oxidative muscle capacity.
Mode C, stimulates at a30 Hz frequency, basically recommended for treatments against medium flaccidity, mostly appropriate for bigger muscles. It
improves muscle toning, firmness and tonicity.
Mode D, stimulates at a40 Hz frequency, basically recommended for treatments against serious flaccidity, strong contractions. It improves the muscle
capacity, increases the muscle volume, strength and endurance. It also reduces the oedema by using the muscle pumping.
