To Add Lamp Fuel To e Oil Reservoir (Font):
e oil reservoir consists of the following parts: retaining ring, wick holder, gasket, and oil font with wire wick adjuster. To gain access
to the oil reservoir, turn the retaining ring counter clockwise and lift out the wick holder and wick. You can now carefully add lamp oil.

will determine the burn time. e lamp will burn up to 30 hours on one lling, depending on the type of fuel used.
Lamp Fuel Recommendation: It is important to use high quality lamp fuel such as our Weems & Plath® Lamp Fuel (#780), which is
pure liquid paran.
We very strongly recommend that you do not use kerosene or other cheap lamp fuels, as they will:
• Burn with excessive odor
• Create smoke and soot
• Burn the wick too quickly
• Present a re hazard
We do recommend using Weems & Plath Lamp Fuel because it is:
• Clean burning, free of odor and carbon build up
• Safe (ash point is over 200° F)
• Long burning (1 oz = 6 hours of use)
CAUTION: Lamp will become hot after being lit for more than 5 minutes. When moving use “S” hook at top of bonnet and
place on heat resistant surface.
To Extinguish Flame:
Pull the wick down slightly with the wire adjuster.
To Replace Wick:
1. Be sure to use the proper ½” wick: our part #770-3.
2. Remove and discard old wick.
3. Trim new wick if necessary, so that the top is straight without dangling strings.read it through the wick holder until 1/10th
of an inch is exposed at top. 06/2017
