The DAC205 i a tereo 24 bit / 192kHz D/A convert-
er which upport the following conver ion :
•AES/EBU or S/PDIF on RCA to analog

an INT204 type USB interface added to the DAC205
feature .

Carefully unpack the DAC205. The following item
hould be enclo ed:

Connect the enclo ed power upply or any other ap-
propriate upply to the input ocket. See the Tech-
nical Data ection for more information on the power
upply.

The DAC205 operate either with the RCA input or the
optical To link input. Select the input with the appro-
priate witch. The data format can be either AES/EBU
or S/PDIF.

Connect your preamplifier or power amplifier to the
output connector of the DAC205.
U e either the ymmetrical (balanced) line (XLR) or
the a ymmetrical (unbalanced) line (RCA). It i al o
po ible to u e both output imultaneou ly.
If the XLR output are u ed to connect to an unbal-
anced input then make ure that XLR pin 1 i u ed for
the ground connection and XLR pin 2 i u ed a the
hot ignal. XLR pin 3 mu t be left open.
If there i n’t any ignal at the DAC205 output check
the power witch / LED and al o make ure the am-
pling frequency i in the range upported. See the
Technical Data ection for detail .
