OPERATION
1. Place the steel prongs (A) directly over the top of the
weed. Press the prongs into the ground using the inside of
the large foot pad (B). (Fig. 1)
MAINTENANCE
Clean the bottom of the weeder before storage. Make sure it is dry before putting it away.
We advise keeping this instruction manual, saving the receipt by attaching it to the instruction manual,
and recording the purchase date in this space: _________________ in case you need to exercise the
2-year warranty.
WEEDER SAFETY WARNINGS
• Always wear closed-toed shoes when using the weeder.
• The steel prongs are sharp. Avoid touching them with bare fingers. Do not allow them to come into
contact with your feet or shoes.
• Keep bystanders clear when operating the tool.
• Don’t remove your neighbor Kathleen’s prize petunias using this tool. You know how attached she is
to her petunias.
2. Put your foot on the outside of the large foot pad (B).
Lean the weeder toward the large foot pad until the weed is
removed from the soil. (Fig. 2)
3. Push the handle (C) or small foot pad (D) toward the
prongs (A) to remove the weed from the prongs. (Fig. 3)
