Range of Application
The Automatic Preserving Cooker is designed for:
• Preserving
• Heating foods and soups and keeping them warm
• Heating, keeping warm and dispensing of beverages
Turning the Device On and Off
Select the desired temperature with the temperature regulator (7) . During the
heating phase, the control lamp (8) lights up. Once the selected temperature is
reached, the control lamp (8) goes out. During operation, the control lamp (8) lights
up every time the temperature drops below the set level. To turn off the device turn
the temperature regulator (7) to the OFF position.
PRESERVING
Preserving is the canning and/or conserving of food. In preserving we distinguish
between sterilizing (100° C) and pasteurizing (80° C). It requires special preserving
jars with rubber seals.
• Place the canning rack(3) in the steam container (4).
• Fill the preserving jars and screw them tight so that no water can penetrate.
•
Place the filled preserving jars on the canning rack (3), maximally two layers high.

5
• Fill the steam container (4) with water. The top layer must be covered at least ¾
in water.
• Close the lid (2) of the Automatic Preserving Cooker
• Select the desired temperature with the temperature regulator (7) .
• The preheat phase begins. If the device is full, this may take up to 90 minutes.
• When the control lamp (8) goes out, the actual preserving phase begins.
• When the preserve cooking time has run out, turn the temperature regulator (7)
to the OFF position.
• Place a sufficiently large and heat-resistant container under the liquid dispenser
(5) and open it by pushing the lever back. The hot water flows out.
• After the steam container (4) is completely empty, let the preserving jars cool for
some time. Burn risk!

• As soon as the selected temperature is reached, the control lamp (8) goes out.
If the temperature drops below the selected level, the control lamp (8) lights up
again and the device heats up until the selected temperature is reached again.
•
