Die Beatmungsmaske wurde primär ent-
wickelt für die Mund-zu-Maske-Beatmung
bei Atemstillstand (bei Erwachsenen, Kindern
und Kleinkindern). Sie sollte nur von Personen
angewandt werden, die eine entsprechende
Ausbildung in Anwendung von Beatmungs-
hilfen absolviert haben.
Anwendung

An die Beatmungsmaske können andere
Beatmungsgeräte, z.B. Beatmungsbeutel
oder sauerstoffbetriebene Beatmungsgeräte
direkt angeschlossen werden.
Ausatmung Sauerstoff
Die Abbildungen zeigen die Funktions-
prinzipien bei verschiedenen Anwendungen.

Filter auf richtigen Sitz überprüfen und
Maskendom nach außen drücken.
Anwendung an
Erwachsenen und Kindern

Anmerkung
Schritt 2–3 gelten nur bei Anwendung an
Erwachsenen und Kindern! Maske mit dem
Kinnansatz zwischen Unterlippe und Kinn des
Patienten aufsetzen und damit gleichzeitig
die Unterlippe zurückschieben, um den Mund
offen zu halten. Das schmale Ende der Maske
über die Nase des Patienten ziehen.
Maske wie dargestellt abdichten. Atemwege
öffnen. Langsam in die Maske blasen bis sich
der Brustkorb hebt.

Anmerkung
Erbricht der Patient, Maske abnehmen und
Atemwege freimachen. Maske durch Schütteln
oder Auswaschen reinigen. Ventil durchblasen,
um Funktion sicherzustellen. Maske wieder
aufsetzen und mit der Beatmung fortfahren.
Die Beatmungsmaske kann auch ohne Ventil
verwendet werden.

Die Anwendung erfolgt hierbei wie beschrieben
mit der Ausnahme, dass die Maske umgedreht
(schmales Ende der Maske unter dem Kinn
des Kleinkindes) auf das Gesicht gesetzt wird.
Anwendung
an Kleinkindern

Maske mit Kopfhalteband befestigen. Die
Durchführung der HLW (Herz-Lungen-Wieder-
belebung) wird damit erleichtert, eine spontane
Sauerstoffeinatmung ist möglich.

Lagerung: –30°C bis 50°C

Extra Sauerstoff – Sauerstoffzuführung an den
Sauerstoffanschluss der Maske anschließen.
Sauerstoff einstellen. Beatmen, wenn erfor-
derlich.
Technische Daten

Achtung
Dieses Produkt ist nur zum Einmalgebrauch
bestimmt. Eine Wiederverwendung führt zu
Keimvermehrung und Keimverschleppung.
Sterilisation und Reinigung (zur Wiederverwen-
dung) kann die Funktion und Wirkungsweise
des Produktes beeinträchtigen und Patienten-
gefährdung hervorrufen.

The pocket mask was particularly developed
for the purpose of mouth/mask respiration in
case of breathlessness (for adults, children
and infants). This device should be only
applied by persons being instructed in the
use of respiration assistance.
Application

The pocket mask is provided with a
direct connection for other respirators
f.ex. resuscitator or oxygen-inhaling
apparatus.

Operation

Take care of the exact position of
the filter and press mask dome to
the external side.
Use for
Adults and Children

Note
Instructions 2–3 to be applied only for adults
and children! Place mask with the part for
the chin between lower lip and chin of the
patient. At the same time push back lower lip
to keep mouth open. Put the small end of the
mask over the nose of the patient.
Seal mask according to illustration.
Open respiration channels. Blow carefully into
the mask, until thorax lifts.

Note
In case patient vomits, take mask off and
clear respirative channels. Clean mask by
watering or shaking. Blow through valve to
ensure function. Replace mask and continue
with respiration.
The mask can also be used without valve.

Follow the mentioned instructions with the
exception that mask has to be placed on the
face in the opposite side (narrow end of mask
to be placed under the chin of the infant).
Use for Infants

Fix mask by means of head belt which will
enable a better heart-lung resuscitation and
direct inhalation.

Supplement oxygen being required can be
added by using the extra oxygen connection
placed at the mask. Stop flow of oxygen (see
to chart). Respire, if necessary.
Characteristics

Caution
The device is for single use only.
Reuse risks spreading infectious bacteria.
Sterilization and washing (for reuse) may
impair performance of the device and causes
harm for the patient.

masque en cas d’essoufflement (pour
adultes, enfants et enfants en bas-âge).
Ce masque doit être utilisé uniquement par
des personnes ayant suivi un enseignement
d’assistance respiratoire.
