Series 11 BTD
The smallest, quietest, most advanced generator for all ship-
board needs; 120 or 1 20 /240 vo lt electrical power at the tum of
a switch for electric cooking, refrige ra tion, air co nditioning,
cabin appliances, power tools, and navigation/
co mmuni cation
equipment. Like all Westerbeke
ge nerator se ts, it is fr esh water
cooled through an engine
-m ounted heat exchanger. The co m-
plete unit is mounted on l ig htw eight rails t hr ough so ft fl ex ible
isolator mounts to prevent vibrat
io n. A lig htw eight removable
drip tray is
fi t te d under the unit between the mounting rai ls. The
engine is equipped with an electric
fu el pump and se lf bleeding
fu el system.
The cast iron cylinder he
ad and block, swirl type co mbu stion
chamber,
and tuned air intake s il encer produce unsurpassed
quiet running. The
BT alternator with its integral fl ywh ee l hou s-
ing, c ompa ct brushless construction and built-in trans fo rmer
regulation, attaches directly to the eng
in e's backplat e.
Th e model 11 BTD is lig h tweig ht, safe , d epe ndable, and eco-
nom ical to ope rate.
