MountingthemainAlarm/Sirenmodule:
Takespecialconsiderationbeforemountingthismodule.Some
recommendationstoconsiderareasfollows.(1)Placement:Itis
recommendedthattheAlarm/Sirenbemountedinalocationhighonthe
interiorsurfaceoftheceilingorhighonaninteriorwalladjacenttoakeyentry
point.(2)Location:Thismoduleshouldbemountedjustoutofone’svertical
reach,andhighenoughthatandaveragepersonwillneedasmallstepstoolto
reach.ThiswillpreventtheAlarm/Sirenfrombeingtamperedwithorremoved
intheeventofanunauthorizedentry.
(1)Onemusttakepropermeasureswhenusingaladderorstepstool.(2)Warning!This
Alarmisextremelyloud.Pleaseusecarewhentestingandwheninsertingbatteriestoavoid
hearingdamage.
1.TurntheAlarm/Sirenovertoaccessthescrewsonthefarrightand
lefthandsideofthemodule.Removethesetwoscrews.Youwillusethese
screwstoattachtheearbracketstotheAlarm/Sirencasing(seediagramA,Ear
bracketsnotillustrated).
2.Usinganalcoholbasedtypecleaner,cleanthebackpanelsurfaceof
theAlarm/Sirenandthesurfacewhichyouplantoadhereto.Thiswillensure
thetwosurfacesbondcorrectlytothehigh‐strengthdoublesidedtape
(supplied).
3.Taketwosmallstripsofthehigh‐strengthdoublesidedtapeand
removethethinplasticbackingtoexposeonesideofthetapeadhesive.Apply
thestripsverticallyorhorizontallytothebackoftheunitandpressfirmlyinto
placeandholdfor20seconds(DiagramB).Taketheotherplasticbackingoff
toexposetheadhesive,withthemoduleinbothhands,pressfirmlyintoplace
andholdfor20secondsforproperbond.
4.Usesmall#6–¾”Flatheadselftappingscrewstofasteneach
mountingeartothetargetedsurface.
5.Oncemountedremovethetwoscrewsonthefrontsideofthemodule
andremovethecover.Thisisthebatterycompartmentwhichhousesthe
batteriesandisthelocationoftheprogramming/pairingbutton.Install
batteriesasthediagramindicates.Reinstallbatterycoverandscrews.Thiswill
completetheinstallationoftheAlarm/Siren.(SeediagramC&D)
Note:(1)BesuretousebothtapeandscrewswhenmountingtheAlarm/Sirenmodule.(2)Use
carewhentighteningscrews,donotovertighten.

MountingthePIR(MotionDetector)sensor(s):
ThePIRisamotiondetectingdevisethatwilldetectmovementinaconfined
space.Thesesensorsaremosteffectivewhenusedforinteriorcargo
compartments,livingrooms,walkways,orbedrooms.ThePIRwilldetectina
150degreepatternandapproximately30‐40feetout.
1.Startbyremovingtheplasticmountingbracketbycarefullypulling
backontheplastictab,andthengentlyslidethebracketoffofthesensor
(diagramA).
2.Findalocationthatisgoingtobestblendintotheenvironment.These
sensorsaretypicallymountedhighinthecornersofbedrooms,livingrooms
andcargocompartments.Youmayalsousethemtocoveranarrowpathway.
Inthepathwayapplication,mountthesensor,positioningithighonthewallin
thecenterofthepathway(pointingthelengthofthepathway).Thiswill
provideaprotectionbeamthatwillruntheentire30ftlengthoftheroom
(unobstructedline)andevenprovideprotectionfortheroomthePIRis
mountedin.ThePIRsensorthatismountedinalargerroomoralarge
compartmentwillbeyourmainsourceofsecuritybydetectinganythingthat
moveswithinitsview.
3.Use#6–¾”Flatheadselftappingscrewsorhigh‐strengthdouble
sidedtapetomountthebracket.Theflexibletabonthebracketshouldbein
thedownposition(DiagramB).
Note:MakesuretherearenoobstructionsthatmaylimitthevisionofthePIR’ssecuritybeam
(Curtains,Blinds,ATV’s,Doors,Slideoutsetc.)
4.RemovethePIR’sbatterycoverlocatedonthebacksideofthesensor
andinsertthebatteriesasthediagramindicates.Carefullyslidesensorback
ontothemountingbracketandsnapsintoplace(DiagramC)tocompletethe
installation.
5.RefertotheOwner’sManualforadditionaloperating,pairingand
programminginstructions.

MountingtheDoorGuardSensors:
TheDoorGuardsensorwilldetectatiltingorswingingmotionofanytypeof
door.Thesesensorsaretypicallymountedonmaincabinentrydoors,cargo
baydoorsalongwithanytypeofcompartmentdoorthathasahinge
movementwhichtiltsorswingsopenandclosed.
1.Carefullyremovethe6screws,topcoverplateandsealtothesensor.
Nowthebatterycompartmentandcircuitboardisexposed(DiagramA).
2.First,locateandmarkthesensormountingpositionontheinsideof
eachdoor.Makesurethateachdoorwillopenandcloseproperlybeforeyou
markitsposition.Useamarkerpentoplaceadotinthemiddleofeach
mountingtabhole.Thisiswhereyouwilluse#6‐¾”Flatheadselftapping
screwstomountsecurely(DiagramB).Youmayalsousehigh‐strengthdouble
sidedtapetomount.Makesurebothsurfacesarecleanedwithanalcohol
basedcleanertoensurethecontactpointsarefreefromdirtandoils.Peelthe
plasticbackingofftoexposethetapeadhesiveandapplytothesensor,hold
firmlyfor20seconds.Thenpeeltheremainingplasticbackingoffandusing
bothhandsplaceinthedesiredmountinglocationandpressfirmlyfor20
secondsensureproperbond.

Mounting7ButtonPINPad:
Thesmall7buttonPINpadwillbemountedinternallysomewheresoitisina
convenientlocationtoenteryourPINnumber.Somecommonlocationsareon
ornearthecontrolpanelsofRV’s,IceHousesorGarages.Thispanelwill
usuallyconsistofpoweron/offswitchesforthelights,generatorsandother
displays.ThisisagoodlocationtomountthePINpad.
1.UseanalcoholbasedcleaningsolutiontocleanthebacksideofthePIN
padandtheexactlocationyoutendtotargetformounting,letdrycompletely
(Rawwoodtypicallyisnotagoodmountingmedium).
2.Usingthehigh‐strengthdoublesticktape(provided),cutthe
appropriatesizeforthePINpad.Peeltheplasticbackingoffonesideofthe
tape,applytothebackofthePINpadandpressfirmlyfor20seconds(Diagram
A).Thenpeeltheremainingplasticbackingoffandusingbothhandsplacein
thedesiredmountinglocationandpressfirmlyfor20seconds.Thiswill
completetheinstallationofthePINpad(DiagramB).
