• To properly install your air purifier,plug
the 2 prong power cord into a grounded
120-volt outlet.
• This appliance has a polarized plug (one
blade iswider than the other). Toreduce
the risk of electric shock,this plug is
intended to fit in a polarized outlet only
one way.If the plug does notfit fully in
the outlet,reverse the plug. If it still does
not fit, contact a qualifiedelectrician. Do
not attempt to defeat this safety feature.

1. Press POWER to turnoff the air purifier.
2. Unplug air purifier or disconnect power.
3. Press the release tab onthe rear of the
air purifier.Gently pullthe rear grille
away from the unit andremove.
4. Remove both HEPAfilters and the pre-
filter and set aside.Do not try to wash
andreuseeitherthe HEPAfilters orthe
pre-filter.
5. Clean the airpurifier with asoft, damp
cloth.
6. Gentlywash the reargrille insoapy
water.
NOTE: The grille is not dishwasher safe.
7. Insert the 2 HEPA filters into the air
purifier.Insert the pre-filter underthe
tabs onthe reargrille. Seethe "Filter
Replacement"section.
8. Placethe tabs on the bottom of the rear
grille intothe slots inthe air purifier.
Gently closethegrille untilthe grille
locks into place.
9. Pluginairpurifierorreconnectpower.
10. Press POWER toturn onthe airpurifier.

NOTE: The pre-filter and HEPA filter LEDs
will c::hange to red when it istime to replace
the filters. For the most efficient operation of
the air purifier,under normal conditions it is
recommended that you replace the pre-filter
every 3 months and the HEPA filter every
year. See "Replacement Filters" in the
"Assistance or Service" section.
1. PressPOWER toturnoff the air purifier.
2. Unplug air purifier or disconnect power.
3. Pressthe release tab onthe rear of the
air purifier.Gently pullthe rear grille
awayfromthe unitandremove.
4. Remove andreplacethe indicated filter.
InstallthenewHEPAfiltersinthesame
directionshown bythe arrow located on
thefilterframe.Installthenewpre-filter
byplacingitunderthetabsontherear
grille.Seethe"FilterLocations"
illustration.
NOTE: Do nottry towash andreuse
either the HEPA filters orthe pre-filter.
5. Placethetabs onthe bottom of the rear
grille into the slots inthe air purifier.
Gently closethe grille untilthe grille
locks into place.
6. Plug inair purifier or reconnect power.
7. Press POWERtoturn onthe airpurifier.
8. To resetthe HEPAfilter status, pressthe
HEPA Filter Reset buttonandholdfor
5 seconds. The HEPAfiltertimerwill
reset.
9. To reset the pre-filter status, press the
Pre-Filter Reset button and hold for
5 seconds. The pre-filter timer will reset.
NOTES:
• Pressingthefilterresetbuttons
beforeeitherfilter LEDchangesto
red will not reset the filtertimer.
• Useof a non-Whirlpoolfilter or
failureto replacethefilter regularly
will invalidatethis warranty.

maintainedaccording to instructions attached to or furnished withthe product, Master
Brands HK Limited will repair or,at our option, replace your air purifier.Your replacement
unit iscovered by our one year limited warranty.Thiswarranty does notcover the
replacement HEPA (High Efficiency Particulate Air)filter or pre-filter.Useof a non-
Whirlpoolfilter orfailureto replace the filter regularly will invalidatethis warranty.Keepthis
book and your sales receipttogether for futurereference.You must provide proof of
purchase or installationdatefor in-warranty service.
SECOND THROUGH FIFTH YEAR LIMITED WARRANTY ON AIR PURIFIER MOTOR
Forfive years from the date of purchase,ifthe airpurifier motor fails when operated and
maintained accordingto instructions attached to or furnished with the product, Master
Brands HK Limited will repair or,at our option, replace your air purifier.
Master BrandsHK Limited will not payfor:
1. Servicecallstoinstructyouonhowtouseyour airpurifier,toreplacehousefusesor
correcthousewiringorresetcircuitbreakers,ortoreplaceowneraccessibleairfilters.
2. Replacement when your air purifier is used in other than normal, single-family
household use.
3. Damage resultingfrom accident , alteration,misuse, abuse,fire,floods,acts of God,
improper installation, installation not inaccordance with local electrical codes, or use
of products notapproved by Master Brands HK Limited.
4. Replacement parts, repair labor costs and/or replacement of a"failed" air purifierfor
units operated outside the UnitedStates and Canada.
5. Repairsto parts or systems resultingfrom unauthorized modifications madeto the
appliance.
6. Shippingorfreight charges to return products for warranty serviceto Master Brands
HK Limited.
7. Damage resultingfrom improper packing of products returned for warranty service.

fail withinthe first year of ownership or the motor fails in the second through fifth
year:

3. The consultant willidentify thedesignatedservice center nearest your location.
4. Youwill be responsiblefor insurance andfreight or other transportation to our service

of the proof of purchase (register receipt,credit card charge slip,etc.).The air purifier
should be properly packaged to avoid damage intransit since we will not be
responsiblefor any such damage.
5. Master Brands HK Limited willreturn the repaired unit,or at our option, an identical or
comparable airpurifierto your door free of charge.
MASTER BRANDSHK LIMITED SHALL NOT BELIABLE FOR INCIDENTAL OR
CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES.
Some states and provinces do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or
consequentialdamages, sothis exclusion or limitationmay notapply to you.Thiswarranty
gives you specific legal rightsandyou may also have other rights whichvary from state to
