Mobile home installation
The installation of this range hood m st
conform to the Man fact red Home
Constr ction Safety Standards, Title 24 CFR,
Part 328 (formerly the Federal Standard for
Mobile Home Constr ction and Safety, Title
24, HUD, Part 280) or when s ch standard is
not applicable, the Standard for
Man fact red Home Installation 1982
(Man fact red Home Sites, Comm nities
and Set ps) ANSI A225.1/NFPA 501A, or
latest edition, or with local codes.

It is the customer’s responsibility:

installation is adequate and in
conformance with National Electrical
Code, ANSI/NFPA 70 — latest edition*,

If codes permit and a separate ground wire
is used, it is recommended that a qualified
electrician determine that the ground path
is adequate.
Do not ground to a gas pipe.
Check with a qualified electrician if you are
not sure range hood is properly grounded.
Do not have a fuse in the neutral or ground
circuit.

A. A 115-volt, 60-Hz, AC-only, f sed
electrical s pply is req ired. The total
ampere load sed, incl ding the range
hood, m st not exceed 90% of the rated
capacity of the circ it. The ampere rating
of the range hood is located on the
model/serial n mber rating plate located
on the side cover of the blower motor
ho sing.
B. The range hood must be
connected with copper wire only.
C. The range hood can be
connected directly to the f sed disconnect
(or circ it breaker) box thro gh flexible
armored or nonmetallic sheathed copper
cable. A U.L.-listed strain relief m st be
provided at each end of the power s pply
cable. Wire sizes (COPPER WIRE ONLY) and
connections m st conform with the rating
of the appliance as specified on the
model/serial rating plate.
For power cord connected installations, a
U.L.-listed range hood cord-connection kit
MUST be sed. Note: Some models come
with a factory installed 3 ft. long power
cord having a 3-prong gro nd pl g.
Wire sizes m st conform to the req irements

and ordinances.
