Operating instructions
Starting Your Washer
Be sure to measure and add detergent, then plats
a 8otted load In me washer before starting It.
1 . Select a LOAD SIZE 2. i%i TEMPERATURES

MOVE:For best washing results, items should move heely in the washer. Do not
overload the washer or choose a water level that is too low for your wash load.
For best results with permanent press clothes. use the LARGEwater level.
Reduce wash time when using EXSMALL or SMALL water level settings. Loads
with only a tew small Items need less wash time for best results.

What Happens in Each Cycle
Each cycle has ditferent agitation and spin speeds designed far different
klnds of fabrtcs.
When the Cycle Control Knob Isset ta a mark and pulled out, the washer ftlls
before agitation and timing starls. After agitation starts, the knob turns clockwtse
until it paints to OFFand the cycle ends
REGULAR HEAVY Cycle
A cycle for sturdily
conshucted fabrics mat
are heavily soiled.
REGULAR LIGHT Cycle
A cycle for sturdily con-
structed fabrics that are
moderately to lightly
sailed.
PERMANENT PRESSHEAVY Cycle
A cycle designed for
heavily solled permanent
press and same synthetic
fabrics. The cool-down
rinse helps keep wrinkles
from setting into these
fabrics.

cycles. In some cycles, water is sprayed on the spinning load to help with the
rinsing.

some synthettc fabrics. The
cool-down rinse helps

When using extra detergent for
heavily soiled clothes, or washing
speclalcare Items, you may want an
extra rinse and spln.
1. Push Cantml Knob In.
2 Turn clockwise ta one of the dots

3. Pull Cot-ml Knob out. The washer
will fill to selected level, agitate
2 minutes, drain and spin.
Other operating instructions
For a drain and spin
A drain and spin may help shorten
drying times for some heavy fabrics
or specIaLcare Items by removing
excess water.
1. Push Control Knob In.
2. Turn clockwise ta any bar lust

Cleaning the lint filter
Clean me filter at me bottom of the
agitator after every load for the best
filtering results.
To clean:
1. Lift off the agitator barrel.
2 Wash or wipe me filter clean In the
bottom of me agttator barrel. The
Rfter Isnot removable.
3. Replace me agltator barrel and
snap It Into place.

Caring for your washer
OF
WHEN NOT WASHINO, keep both
water faucets turned off, this takes the
pressure off the water inlet valve and
bases.
REMOVE SHARP OBJECTS such as
pins, buckles, etc., from clothes before
washing. Close metal zippers.
WIPE UP SPILLS with a soft damp cloth
as XXXI as they occur.Thls will help
keep your washer looking IIke new
SHARP OR HEAW OBJECTS should
never be put on or in the washer.
Check pocket for bolls, nuts, tools, etc.
