Quick Start Guide
Setting up the Device
Kindly connect the device to an electrical power
outlet.
2 Insert your sim card or connect to the internet
via your ethernet cable.

Turn ON the Device.
4Wait for 6 minutes for the Wicrypt firmware to
finish initialization.
Confirm that the following LEDs are On, power ,
wifi and internet.

Connection via Wi-Fi
Ensure that the Wi-Fi light is on and 
blinking. It can take up to 6 minutes for 
the devices to be ready

Connect your phone or PC via WiFi to 
the device via SSID.

Authenticate your device via the Wicrypt
captive portal. (this step is only required if
Wicrypt business is enabled).
Note: You can access the captive portal using the URL wicryptlogin.ne
or 192.168.4.4 if the captive portal is not displayed automatically.

Ensure that the Wi-Fi light is on and
blinking. It can take up to 6 minutes for
the device to be ready.

Connect an ethernet cord from the PC to
any of the LAN ports

Authenticate your device via the wicrypt
captive portal. (this step is only required if
wicrypt business is enabled).
Note: You can access the captive portal using the URL wicryptlogin.ne
or 192.168.4.4 if the captive portal is not displayed automatically.

1Insert a SIM card or connect your Wicrypt device
via the Ethernet cable to the internet
2Make sure you are connected to the device
network (the SSID usually ends with .wc) via WiFi
or Ethernet cable
3Open your browser and type in the IP 192.168.4.4
or the URL wicryptlogin.net
1Ensure that the Wi-Fi light is on and blinking. it
can take up to 6 minutes for the devices to be
ready
4Input “admin” as the device password to login to
the portal

Click ‘Login’

How to Re ister a Device
1Insert a SIM card or connect your Wicrypt device
via the Ethernet cable to the internet
2 Connect your phone or PC via WiFi to 
the device via SSID.
3Open your browser and type in the IP 192.168.4.4
or the URL wicryptlogin.net
1Ensure that the Wi-Fi light is on and blinking. it

Click on ‘Register Device’
5Enter you email and password associated with
the device

to the portal

On the device portal, Click ‘Quick Setup’

Under ‘Device Password’, input desired password

How o Change Device SSID Name
1Open your browser and type in the IP 192.168.4.4
or the URL wicryptlogin.net

Click ‘Save Changes’
2Input “admin” as your default password to login
to the portal or the password you might have
changed it to.

On the device portal, Click ‘Quick Setup’

Enter desired WiFi name

How to Switch from ersonal to Business Mode
1Insert a SIM card or connect your Wicrypt device
via the Ethernet cable to the internet .
5Click ‘Save Changes
NB: The Device would be disconnected and you
will be required to reconnect via the new Wi-Fi
name
2Connect to the device network (the SSID usually
ends with .wc), 
NB: if the SSID had been changed earlier.
Connect to the SSID used 
3Open your browser and type in the IP 192.168.4.4
or the URL wicryptlogin.net
4Input “admin” as the device password to login to
the portal 

NB: if you had changed the device password.
Input the password you used.

or voucher
Note: Device mode by def ult is the Person l Mode
How to Switch from Business to Personal Mode
1Insert SIM c rd or connect your Wicrypt device

NB:This will restart the device automatically and
you will be required to login into the device
network using the Wicrypt app device login code
or a voucher).
8Device will need to be restarted.
Ensure that the Wi-Fi light is on and blinking. it
can take up to 6 minutes for the devices to be
ready
How to setup/change your Device Name (SSID) to your Business Name
2Input “admin” as your default password to login
to the portal or the password you might have
changed it to.
3Click on ‘Quick etup’ to change the name of
your Wi-Fi to your business name.
