Instructions For Use & Care
INSTALLING BATTERIES:
1. Turn the elastic band inside out as shown.
2. Using your fingernail, carefully pry off the
TELEMAX’s rear panel. DO NOT PRY OFF
THE FRONT (labeled TELEMAX).

2. Locate the battery slots using the diagram
on page 2.
3. Using tweezers, insert the batteries. Pay careful
attention to proper polarity (+ –).
4. Carefully snap the rear panel back on to the
TELEMAX.

TELEMAX™ (WITH REAR PANEL REMOVED)
The TELEMAX’s two Type 13 (BAT 028) batter-
ies provide up to 150 hours of use, lasting up
to six months on standby. Replacement batter-
ies can be purchased from Williams Sound or
your local hearing aid dispenser. Your dis-
penser can also install the batteries.
When replacing depleted batteries, please bring
them to your dispenser or local recycling cen-
ter. Improper disposal of this battery type caus-
es harmful environmental effects.
TO USE THE TELEMAX:
1. Tap on the TELEMAX’s housing with your
fingertip to activate the unit.
2. Attach the TELEMAX to your phone’s receiv-
er using the elastic strip as shown.

4. Put your hearing instrument’s control
switch in the “T” position.
5. The TELEMAX is now ready for coupling
with your T-coil. Listen to the phone signal.
6. Adjust the volume on your hearing instru-
ment for clarity and comfort.
5. The TELEMAX will automatically turn itself
off after use.

WARRANTY NOTICE
Williams Sound warrants the TELEMAX against
defects in materials and workmanship for ONE
(1) year. If the TELEMAX fails within the speci-
fied warranty period,Williams Sound will deter-
mine whether to repair or replace it.
This warranty does not apply to physical dam-
age, products that have been abused or mis-
used, or modified.
If you experience difficulty with your system,
call Toll-Free for Customer Assistance:

If it is necessary to return the system for ser-
vice, your Customer Service Representative will
give you a Return Authorization Number (RA)
and shipping instructions.
