Introduction
Thank you for purchasing this quality product. To minimize the risk of injury we urge that our cli-
ents take some basic safety precautions when using this device. Please read the operation
instructions carefully and make sure you have understood its content.
Keep these operation instructions safe.
General safety information
Warning:
Use of the device is only permitted with a residual current circuit breaker with a triggering rated current
of up to 30 mA (according to VDE 0100 parts 702 and 738).
This device is not intended to be used by persons (including children) with limited physical, sensory or
mental capabilities or inadequate experience and / or inadequate knowledge, unless they are super-
vised or have been instructed by a person responsible for their safety on how to use the device. Chil-
dren should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the device.
We recommend putting on suitable safety wear. It includes gloves, eye protection and a face
mask.
Keep the instructions in a safe and dry place so that you can refer to them at any time.
Safety in the work area
•Keep your work area clean and well lit. Untidy and poorly lit work areas increase the risk of
accidents.
•Never use electrical devices in an explosive environment, e.g. B. near flammable liq-
uids, gases or dust. Electrical appliances can cause sparks that can ignite these materials.
•Keep bystanders and children away while you are using the electrical device. Distrac-
tions can cause you to lose control of the device.
Electric safety
•Before connecting the device, make sure that the voltage of the power source corre-
sponds to the voltage specified on the rating plate.
•Avoid body contact with earthed surfaces, e.g. B. pipes, heaters, stoves or refrigera-
tors. The risk of electric shock increases when the body is earthed. If you work in a damp en-
vironment, it is essential to use a residual current circuit breaker to supply your electrical de-
vice with electricity. Wearing rubber gloves for electricians and shoes with rubber soles also
increases safety.
•Never expose electrical devices to rain or moisture. Water entering an electrical device in-
creases the risk of electric shock.
•Handle the power cord carefully. Never carry devices by the power cord; Never pull the
power plug out of the socket by the cable. Keep the power cord away from heat, oil, sharp ob-

jects, or moving parts. Replace damaged power cords immediately. Damaged power cords in-
crease the risk of electric shock.
•If you want to operate an electrical device outdoors, always use an extension cable ap-
proved for outdoor use. Outdoor extension cords reduce the risk of electric shock.
•Always set the switch to "Off" before connecting the device to the mains.
Personal safety
•Remain vigilant and pay full attention to what you are doing while operating an electri-
cal appliance. Do not use the device when you are tired or under the influence of alco-
hol, intoxicants or drugs. A moment of inattention while using the device could result in seri-
ous injury.
•Wear appropriate clothing. Do not wear loose clothing or jewelry. Tie long hair securely
together. Keep hair, clothing and gloves away from moving parts. Loose clothing, jewel-
ry, or long hair can get caught in moving parts. Keep the handles dry, clean, and free from oil
and lubricants.
•Avoid unintentional starting. When plugging in, make sure the device's switch is in the
off position. When carrying an electrical device, do not put your finger on the trigger; a device
with the switch on must not be connected to the mains.
•Remove the wrench before switching on the device. An adjusting wrench or wrench hang-
ing on a moving part can cause injury.
•Don't lean too far. Always keep your balance and make sure you have a secure and firm
footing. A secure footing and maintaining balance allow better control of the device in unex-
pected situations.
•Put on safety wear. Always wear protective goggles. Dust masks, non-slip shoes, hard hat
and hearing protection must also be worn under appropriate conditions.
Safety in use and care
•Use clamps or other aids to secure workpieces to a stable surface. Workpieces should
always be fixed and not held in the hand, as this can lead to loss of control.
•Do not apply pressure to the device. Always use the right device or tool for the job at
hand. Tools and equipment are safer and more reliable when used within their intended per-
formance range.
•Do not use a device that has a defect switch. Any device that cannot be controlled by the
switch is dangerous and must be repaired immediately.
•Pull the power plug before making changes, replacing accessories or storing the de-
vice. These safety precautions reduce the risk of unintentional switching on.
•Store unused tools and devices out of the reach of children and inexperienced people.
Devices and tools in the hands of untrained people can be dangerous.
•Always maintain equipment and tools with great care. Always keep cutting tools sharp
and clean. Properly maintained tools with sharp edges are less prone to deformation and eas-
ier to control. Any change or modification is to be regarded as misuse; this can lead to a haz-
ard.
•Check the moving parts for deformation, misalignment, damage, or other conditions
that could limit the performance of the product. If the device is damaged, have it re-
paired by a specialist. Many accidents are caused by poorly maintained equipment or tools.
Establish a maintenance schedule for your device.
•Only use accessories recommended by the manufacturer that are compatible with your
device. Accessories that fit a particular device can be dangerous when used on another de-
vice.
Intended use
The polishing machine is designed for polishing workpieces and other objects. The device is not in-
tended for commercial use. No structural changes/ modifications are allowed. Structural changes or
improper use can lead to property damage and personal injury.

Assembly
The machine vibrates when in operation, and so it can move around while working. To prevent this, we
recommend screwing the machine firmly to the work table or a suitable base. The base of the polish-
ing machine has corresponding pre-drilled holes.
1. Place the machine in the designated place on the table.
2. Mark the locations for the holes through the pre-drilled holes in the device base.
3. Drill the holes at the points marked.
4. Secure the machine to the table with two long screws, washers, lock washers and nuts (not
included).

Installation
Installation and removal of the polishing discs
Before installing or changing the polishing disc, make sure that the polishing machine is switched off
and unplugged.
1. Remove the flange nut from the shaft with a 24-sized wrench (size may vary depending on the
version). Note that the left washer nut is left hand threaded.
2. Remove the polishing pad.
3. Check the new polishing pad for damage.
4. Install the polishing pad and tighten the nut. Make sure the nut is properly tightened. If the nut
is too tight or too loose, it can cause problems during operation.
5. When restarting the machine, do NOT stand in front of the machine, but to the side. Allow the
polishing pad to turn without load for at least 30 seconds. If the machine vibrates heavily or if
any other damage is noticed, pull out the power plug immediately. Fix the damage before put-
ting the machine back into operation.
Caution: The polishing disc continues to rotate even after the plug has been pulled out.
•Switching the machine on and off is safe when used properly. Follow all safety instructions,
but remember to use common sense in every situation and in all working conditions.
•Never reach too far behind or under the rotating disc. Always stand aside when starting the
machine and let the machine run for at least 30 s without load to check that it is working
properly. Turn off the machine after use.
Maintenance
Regular maintenance extends the life of your polisher and reduces the risk of failure. Make sure that
the ventilation slots are always free so that the motor is adequately ventilated and cooled.
1. Unplug the power cord after use and remove any dirt from the ventilation slots, e.g. B. with a
vacuum cleaner.
2. Regularly check the power cord for damage. We recommend this test before and after each
use of the polishing machine.
3. Before each use, check that all moving parts are properly attached. Polishing pads that are too
tight or too loose can cause injury and malfunction.
4. Replace the polishing pads if necessary.
5. Clean the machine regularly.
