Assembly
If you can't install F5 accessories well, we recommend taking your new F5 to a shop for
assembly and inspection. If you are willing to assemble the F5 yourself, be sure to follow all
instructions, properly adjust gears and brakes, and set tire pressure.
Pedals
1. Locate the right-side/ left side pedal, which is marked "R," "L," should have an "R" "L"
sticker attached.
2. Thread the right pedal onto the right crank gently by hand, turning clockwise. Then tighten
pedal by allen wrench.
3. Thread the left pedal onto the left crank gently by hand, turning counter-clockwise.Then
tighten pedal by allen wrench.
4. Check the chain alignment. Rotate the right pedal and crank toward the back of the F1 as
though pedaling backward. Watch the chain and ensure the chain runs through the
drivetrain (the rear cog, chain tensioner, and around the front chainring) smoothly.
WARNING: DO NOT POWER ON WHILE CHARGING.

Start-up procedure
After the F5 has been properly assembled according to the assembly video, all components
are secured correctly, and you have read this entire manual, turn on the F5 and select a
pedal assist level following the steps below:
1. Test the battery lock security.Ensure the key port is aligned with the OFF icon, which
indicating the battery is off and locked onto the frame mount.Carefully use both hands to pull
up on the battery to test that the lock is secure.
2. Turn the F5 on/off.Insert the key and turn clockwise to the ON position.Locate the LCD
Display (near the left handlebar grip).Press and hold the lower power button for about 3
seconds to turn F5 on/off.
3. Front light:Long press the "+" button to turn on and off the front light.
4. Begin riding carefully. With the proper safety gear and rider knowledge, you may now
operate your F5.
5. The throttle is used by slowly and carefully press the throttle downward. Do not use the
throttle unless you are on the F5.
Do not use the throttle while dismounted.Avoid acciden-
tal application of the throttle while dismounted; any-
time you are moving the F5 while dismounted, ensure
the F5 is powered off to prevent accidental application
of the throttle.
Charging
· The charging port is located under the F5 baseboard.
· Plug the charging cable into the charging port.(Make sure the
connection is dry)
· The indicator LED of the charging adapter furns red when
charging and turns green when the battery is full. Please stop
charging when it is full to prevent battery life from deteriorating.
Please use the batteries, chargers and cables supplied by the original manufacturer to prevent the battery
from being overcharged.
· When finished charging, close the charging flap toprevent any damage to the port.
WARNING: UN-PLUG BEFORE TURNING ONIGNITION.
Note: Please be sure to keep the port covered and free of dirt and water.

Remove the battery
For your convenience, the F5 battery can be removed.
To reinstall the battery, align the slot at the bottom of the battery and reinsert it into the
frame. Turn the key to the locked position.
Unlock the battery by turning
the key to the right to "OPEN". Pull out the battery along the track.

Installation steps
1. Remove the packing EPE pear cotton. 2. Turn upside down.
3. Remove the fork spacer.(it protects the
fork from crushing and deformation during
shipping, it's not a part of the bike.)
4. Put the front wheel on the fork.
5. Tighten the nuts on both sides. 6. Turn it over again.

2. Add a device
Open "Add Devices" to connect your F5.
Reminder: 1 device can only connect to 1 cellphone, remember to disconnect the device when
switching to another phone.

Cleaning and Storage
lf you see stains on the F5 body, wipe them off with a damp cloth. lf the stains won't scrub
off, put on some toothpaste, and brush them with a tooth brush, then wipe them off with a
damp cloth.
Notes: Do not use alcohol, gasoline or kerosene to clean the F5. Do not wash the F5 with a
high-pressure water spray. During cleaning, make sure that the F5 turned off,the charging
cable is unplugged, and the rubber flap is closed as water leakage may result in electric
shock or other major problems. When the F5 not in use, keep it indoors where it is dry and
cool between 14°F and 140°F. ln extremely humid environments the interior of the F5 may
suffer condensation or even water accumulation, which may damage the battery rapidly.
"E1" - Motor Hall failure
"E2" - Motor phase failure
"E3" - Controller failure
"E4" - Undervoltage fault
"E5" - Handlebar failure

1.Re-plug the motor hall wire to see if it is not plugged in properly
2. Replace the motor
1.Re-plug the throttle cable to see if it's not plugged in properly
2.Replace the throttle gas pedal
1. Re-plug the brake line to see if it's not plugged in properly
2. Replace the brakes
Please charge the battery.
Replace the controller.
1. Re-plug the phase wire to see if it's not plugged in properly or if the wires are
connected together and short-circuited.
2. Replace the motor.
1. Re-plug the meter communication line to see if it is not plugged in properly.
2. Replace the meter or controller or communication connection line.
Error Code Possible Causes

Battery Maintenance
1.Don't use other brands or models of batteries, as they may pose safety risks;
2.Do not touch the contacts. Do not dismantle or puncture the casing. Keep the contacts
away from metal objects to prevent short circuit which may result in battery damage or even
injuries and deaths;
3.Use original power adapter to avoid potential damage or fire;
4.Mishandling of used batteries may do tremendous harm to the environment.
5.After every use, fully charge the battery to prolong its life span.
6.Try to avoid recharging the F5 after completely exhausting the battery. If the Battery power
is low, charge it as soon as possible.
7.Charge the battery every month if it is not in use.
Troubleshooting

Warning Message
1. Avoid prolonged exposure to sun or rain and avoid storage in places with high
temperaturesor corrosive gas.
2. We do not cover physical damage due to negligent care and extreme riding.
3. Whenever you ride the F5, you risk severe injury or even death from loss of control,
collisions, and falls. Use caution and ride at your own risk.
4. Do not modify the product from the manufacturers original design.
5. Do not exceed the posted speed limit and obey all traffic laws.
6. Avoid touching the charging port directly and do not let it make contact with a metal
object.
7. Keep hands and all body parts away from moving parts while operating the F5.
8. Before riding - be sure to check the F5 over and make sure the F5 is operating correctly
before each use.
9. Before riding - be sure to check that the braking system is functioning properly; also be
sure to check that all safety labels are in place and you understand the safety warnings.
10. Before riding - be sure that all axle guards, chain guards, or other covers or guards
supplied by the manufacturer are in place and in serviceable condition.
11. Before riding - be sure to check that the tires are in good condition, inflated properly,
and have sufficient tread remaining.
12. No more than 264.5 lbs (120kg) maximum load rating.
13. The F5 should never be used by children under the age of 18.
14. Maximum Speed - Your F5 goes the maximum speed of 25 km/h.
15. Make note that additional insurance may be required to cover situations you encounter
while riding an F5. lt is recommended that you contact an insurance company or broker
foradvice and consultation.
16. To conserve electricity, use assist mode and avoid zero starting, frequent braking,
driving against the wind, carrying heavy loads including other people and riding with
insufficient air pressure.
17.
The lithium battery should be charged every 3 months during the shelf life (keep SOC
above 50%). It’s best to maintain the battery at least 30% charge.Do avoid leaving the
battery completely discharged for an extended period of time. Do not overcharge or
discharge.
