To avoid specks on the tank bottom, the detergent should be dissolved in warm water prior to its addition to the
wash tank or the machine should be put into operation immediately after its addition to the wash tank.
The machine is fitted with a detergent control device – control lamp number 12. This light will illuminate as soon
as the detergent concentration is unsatisfactory and, at his time, a further 55 grams of detergent should be
added.
-After the temperature control lamp extinguishes washing may be started.
3. Washing
-Load the dishes into the respective rack.
-Insert the rack into the machine and close the door.
-Release the programme cycle according to the degree of soil of the dishes by pressing the respective
programme button.
-With normally soiled dishes button “1”, programme runs for approx. 1 minute,
-with strongly soiled dishes button “2”, programme runs for approx. 2 minutes.
The main wash cycle, during which the dishes are intensively cleaned from the top and the bottom, is followed by
a 12 second rinse with hot fresh water mixed with rinse aid at a temperature of 85°C.
The selected programme button is lighting up during the cycle.
-After it is extinguished the rack may be taken out of the machine.
On account of the specific heat of the dishes and under the influence of the foamless rinse aid added to the
rinse water, the dishes dry shiny clear within a short time.
Thus drying with a cloth is not necessary .
Exceptionally dirty dishes or dishes with residual dried food may require a longer wash time. This can be effected
by pressing the manual wash button (9) only and the main wash cycle will now operate for as long as required.
Press manual wash button (9) to stop.
Press manual rinse button (10) for rinse. Do not operate manual rinse for longer than 12 seconds.
4. Daily Cleaning Procedure
-Drain tank by removing stand pipe.
-Close the door and clean tank inside by pressing the manual rinse button (10) for approx. 10 to 15 seconds.
-Check that wash tank is clean and if necessary, repeat above operation or remove dirt with a brush.
-Set control switch to position “off” (lamp extinguishes).
-Close stop valve and switch off main switch.
-Remove surface strainer and clean thoroughly.
-Only when the wash tank is drained and cleaned completely, remove pump strainer and clean thoroughly. Then
insert the pump strainer and surface strainer again into the wash tank.
-Clean outside of machine with a soft cloth and appropriate cleaning agents (it is recommended that Winterhalter
stainless steel cleaner and Winterhalter stainless steel polish be used).
·Caution: Machine is not splash water protected, do not wash down outside with a high pressure cleaner.
It is recommended to leave the door open over night.
