1. Product Overviews
WT-ESP32-DevKitC V4 is a small development board based on ESP32, which integrates the
WIFI+Bluetooth solution. Most pins of the modules on the board have been led out.
Developers can easily connect a variety of peripheral devices through jumpers or insert the
development board directly into the breadboard according to their actual needs.
In order to better meet the needs of different users, WT-ESP32-DevKitC V4 also supports the
following different configurations:

The product is completely upgraded. WT-ESP32-DevKitC V4 is a mini development board
that can be equipped with ESP32-WROOM-32D, ESP32-WROOM-32U, ESP32-WROVER-B
and ESP32-SOLO-1 series modules, and can be easily plugged into a breadboard.
❊Novel and powerful
WT-ESP32-DevKitC V4 supports WIFI+Bluetooth functions, and has rich peripherals, which
can allow developers to use their imagination for secondary development.
❊Easy development and short time-consuming
The RF performance of WT-ESP32-DevKitC V4 has been debugged and improved, so users
do not need to consider RF and antenna design when designing and developing applications.
This development board contains the small system that the user needs, and only needs to
connect USB cable to carry on the development.
❊Flexible and rich features
WT-ESP32-DevKitC V4 has a complete circuit supporting ESP32-WROOM-32D, ESP32-
WROOM-32U, ESP32-WROVER-B, and ESP32-SOLO-1, including USB-UART converter, reset
and download mode buttons, LDO Voltage regulator and micro USB connector. Each GPIO is
available to developers.
❊Easy to plug into a breadboard
WT-ESP32-DevKitC V4, of which pin layout has been optimized, can be easily plugged into
the breadboard for development and debugging. The on-board LDO is led out to supply
power for external components. Different peripheral interfaces are grouped to achieve
barrier-free development.

Boot
Download button. Press and hold the Boot button and press
the EN button (do not release the Boot button at this time)
to enter the "firmware download" mode. Download the
firmware through the serial port.

5V Power On LED
When the development board is powered up (USB or external
5V), the indicator will light up. For more information, see the
schematic in the relevant documentation.
I/O
Most pins of the module on board have been led to the pin
header of the development board. Users can program ESP32
to realize PWM, ADC, DAC, I2C, I2S, SPI and other functions

Pins D0, D1, D2, D3, CMD and CLK are used for internal communication between
the ESP32 chip and the SPI flash, and are concentrated on the both sides of the
development board near the USB port. Generally speaking, these pins are better
not connected, otherwise it may affect the operation of SPI flash / SPI RAM.
※Note
Pins GPIO16 and GPIO17 are only applicable to the on-board ESP32-WROOM
series and ESP32-SOLO-1 development boards, reserved for internal use.

4. Power Options
The development board can choose one of the following three power supply modes:
Micro USB power supply ( default )
5V / GND Pin power supply
3V3 / GND Pin power supply
5. Application Development
Before powering on ESP32-DevKitC V4, please make sure that the development board is
intact.

6. Development Board Size
┋Warning
The above power supply modes cannot be connected at the same time,
otherwise the development board and/or power supply may be damaged.
