Bestimmungsgemäßer Gebrauch
Das beschriebene Gerät dient ausschließlich der Installation von Satellitenempfangsanlagen.
Jegliche anderweitige Nutzung oder die Nichtbeachtung dieses Anwendungshinweises hat den Verlust der Gewährleis-
tung oder Garantie zur Folge.
Montage- und Sicherheitshinweise
WARNUNG
Lebensgefahr durch elektrische Spannung und sich daraus ergebende Brandgefahr!
Unsachgemäße Eingriffe können die elektrische Sicherheit des Gerätes gefährden. Der Hersteller haftet
nicht für Unfälle des Anwenders am geöffneten Gerät. Eigenmächtiges Öffnen und Reparaturversuche
führen zum Verlust des Gewährleistungsanspruchs.
►Das Gerät nicht öffnen oder verändern.
►Reparaturen am Gerät nur von qualiziertem Fachpersonal ausführen lassen.
►Gerät und Anschlusskabel vor jedem Einsatz auf etwaige Beschädigung prüfen.
►Beschädigtes Gerät oder Anschlusskabel nicht mehr verwenden.
►Gerät außerhalb der Reichweite von Kindern aufbewahren und betreiben.
►Sicherstellen, dass der Netzstecker immer leicht zugänglich ist.
►Beachten, dass das Gerät nur durch Ziehen des Netzsteckers vom Netz getrennt werden kann.
►Auf ausreichenden Abstand nach allen Seiten von mind. 20 cm achten.
►Überhitzungsgefahr! Sicherstellen, dass freie Luftzirkulation für die Gerätekühlung möglich ist. Nicht
unterhalb von Decken montieren.
►Das Gerät ist nur mit der beiliegenden Halterung für die Wandmontage vorgesehen. Die Verwendung
als Tischgerät ist ebenso möglich.
Lebensgefahr und/oder Sachschäden beim Betrieb in unsachgemäßen Umgebungsbedingungen
oder durch unsachgemäße Reinigung!
Feuchtigkeit im Gerät kann zu einem Stromschlag oder zur Brandgefahr durch Funkenbildung führen.
►Gerät nur in trockenen Innenräumen verwenden.
►Nicht auf oder an leicht entzündlichen Materialien montieren.
►Gerät vor Feuchtigkeit, Tropf- und Spritzwasser schützen.
►Gerät nicht in Feuchträumen betreiben.
►Keine mit Flüssigkeiten gefüllten Gegenstände auf das Gerät stellen.
►Nur die Oberäche reinigen.
►Ein trockenes Tuch zur Reinigung verwenden.

Intended Use
The unit described is intended solely for the installation of satellite reception systems.
Any other use, or failure to comply with these instructions will invalidate the warranty or guarantee.
Installation and Safety Instructions
WARNING
Danger to life from electric shock and fire hazard due to electric current.
Improper interventions in the unit may jeopardise its electrical safety. The manufacturer accepts no
liability for accidents caused by the user opening the unit. Opening the unit and attempting to repair it
yourself voids all warranty claims.
►Do not open or tamper with the unit.
►Make sure that any repairs on the unit are carried out by qualified staff.
►Before each use, make sure that the unit and the connection cable are not damaged.
►Do not use the unit or the connection cable if they are damaged.
►Keep and operate the unit out of reach of children.
►Ensure that the mains plug is easily accessible at all times.
►Pull the plug out of the mains socket to completely disconnect the unit from the mains.
►Ensure adequate clearance. Clearance all round at least 20cm.
►Risk of overheating! Free circulation of air must be possible to discharge the heat emitted by the unit.
Do not install the device on the ceiling.
►The device is intended for wall mounting with the included mounting bracket only. The device can also
be used as a tabletop unit.
Danger to life and/or risk of damage to property when operating the unit in inappropriate ambient
conditions or due to improper cleaning!
Moisture in the unit can lead to electric shock or fire hazard due to spark formation.
►Use the unit only indoors in dry areas.
►Do not install on or against highly combustible materials.
►Protect the unit from moisture, dripping and splash water.
►Do not operate the unit in damp areas.
►Do not place any liquid-filled items on top of the unit.
►Restrict cleaning to the outer surface of the unit only.
►Use a dry cloth for cleaning.

Transport and Storage
►Transport and store the unit in its original packaging.
►Protect the unit against dust, dirt, moisture and direct sunlight.
►Transport and store the device only in the permitted temperature range between –10 and 80°C. Make sure there is
no water condensation buildup.
Repair and Replacement

Electronic equipment is not domestic waste – in accordance with directive 2002/96/EC OF THE EUROPEAN
PARLIAMENT AND THE COUNCIL dated 27th January 2003 concerning used electrical and electronic appli-
ances, it must be disposed of properly. At the end of its service life, take this unit for disposal at a designated
public collection point.
