Trap for dry trapping bark beetles,
also suitable for metallic wood-boring beetles and long-horned beetles
• The WitaTrap® Multi Funnel Trap is:
- ready to use,
- easy to assemble and install,
- easy to clean and
- room-saving storage.
• The trap has a transparent capture container for easier control!
• Capture container with metal sieve at the bottom ensures a good water drainage.
• The Multi Funnel Trap is only suitable for dry trapping method.
• Material of the trap: Polyethylen
• Delivery: 5 funnels + 1 last funnel with capture container
Upon request also available with 11 funnels + 1 last funnel with capture container.
Instruction for Assembling:
• Extend segment parts of the trap with a slight turn.
• Fix the plastic mounting hook with the short part outwards in the cover.
• The pheromone is attached to the longer part of the mounting hook in the
middle of the lid or you can hang the pheromone to the penultimate funnel.
CAUTION: Please read the instruction of the specic pheromone. Depending on the
pheromone that‘s used, the outer plastic packaging
(for example, plastic dispensers) should not be damaged.
• Now connect the lid and segments with the enclosed wire hook.
Fix the wire hooks in the holes on the lid (thread in and bend the hooks together).
The long side of the hook should point outwards. Then fasten them to the
segment part (thread in and also bend the hooks together).
• Attach the catch container to the lower segment part and turn it until it clicks into
place.

Components: Segments (5 funnels), bottle funnel segment with
Universal Capture Container
The pheromone is attached to the junction points of the penultimate
lower segment. (Pheromone must be ordered separately)
Assembly
• Pull segments of the trap in length with a slight twist.
• The pheromone is attached to the junction points of the penultimate lower segment. (Please refer to the res-
pective instructions for use of the pheromone. ) ATTENTION: Depending on the pheromone used, the outer plastic
packaging (e. g. plastic dispensers) must not be damaged.
• Insert the trap at the bottom segment and twist it until it passes through the bayonet closure locks in.
