Wichtige Sicherheitshinweise
▪ Diese Geräte können von Kindern ab 8 Jahren sowie von Personen
mit reduzierten physischen, sensorischen oder mentalen Fähigkeiten
oder Mangel an Erfahrung und/oder Wissen benutzt werden, wenn
sie beaufsichtigt oder bezüglich des sicheren Gebrauchs des Gerätes
unterwiesen wurden und die daraus resultierenden Gefahren ver-
standen haben.
Kinder dürfen nicht mit dem Gerät spielen.
Reinigung und Benutzer-Wartung dürfen nicht durch Kinder durch-
geführt werden, es sei denn, sie sind älter als 8 Jahre und beaufsich-
tigt.
▪ Bewahren Sie das Gerät und seine Zuleitung außerhalb der Reich-
weite von Kindern unter 8 Jahren auf.
▪ Den Wasserkocher nur mit dem dazugehörigen Sockel betreiben.
▪ Wird das Gerät überfüllt oder mit nicht geschlossenem Deckel
betrieben, könnte kochendes Wasser herausspritzen.
▪ Den Topf und den Sockel nicht in Wasser tauchen.
▪ Wenn die Anschlussleitung dieses Gerätes beschädigt wird, muss sie
durch den zentralen Kundendienst des Herstellers oder eine ähnlich
qualifizierte Person ersetzt werden. Durch unsachgemäße Reparatu-
ren können erhebliche Gefahren für den Benutzer entstehen.
▪ Dieses Gerät ist dafür bestimmt, im Haushalt und ähnlichen Anwen-
dungen verwendet zu werden, wie beispielsweise:
⋅in Küchen für Mitarbeiter in Läden, Büros und anderen gewerb-
lichen Bereichen;
⋅in landwirtschaftlichen Anwesen;
⋅von Kunden in Hotels, Motels und anderen Wohneinrichtungen;

Die Gebrauchsanweisung aufmerksam lesen. Sie enthält wichtige Hinweise für den Gebrauch, die
Sicherheit und die Wartung des Gerätes.
Sie soll sorgfältig aufbewahrt und gegebenenfalls an Nachbenutzer weitergegeben werden.
Das Gerät darf nur für den vorgesehenen Zweck, gemäß dieser Gebrauchsanweisung, verwendet
werden.

Sicherheitshinweise
▪ Gerät nur an eine vorschriftsmäßig installierte Schutzkontaktsteckdose anschließen. Zuleitung und
Stecker müssen trocken sein.
▪ Die Anschlussleitung nicht über scharfe Kanten ziehen oder einklemmen, nicht herunterhängen
lassen sowie vor Hitze und Öl schützen.
▪ Den Netzstecker nicht an der Leitung oder mit nassen Händen aus der Steckdose ziehen.
▪ Das Gerät nicht in Betrieb nehmen bzw. sofort Netzstecker ziehen, wenn:
⋅Gerät oder Netzkabel beschädigt ist;
⋅das Gerät undicht ist;
⋅der Verdacht auf einen Defekt nach einem Sturz o. Ä. besteht.
In diesen Fällen das Gerät zur Reparatur geben.
▪ Den Wasserkocher nicht auf heiße Oberflächen z. B. Herdplatten o. Ä. oder in der Nähe der offenen
Gasflamme abstellen, er könnte dabei anschmelzen.
▪ Das Gerät nicht auf wasserempfindliche Oberflächen abstellen. Wasserspritzer könnten diese
beschädigen.
▪ Das Gerät nicht unter empfindlichen Möbeln betreiben, beim Kochen austretender Dampf könnte
diese beschädigen,
▪ Den Wasserkocher niemals ohne Aufsicht betreiben.
▪ Das Gerät nicht ohne Wasser einschalten.
▪ Den Topf zum Füllen vom Sockel nehmen.
▪ Nur reines Wasser, keine Milch, Kaffee o. Ä. einfüllen.
▪ Das Gerät während des Betriebes nicht verrücken und nicht am Netzkabel ziehen.
▪ Vorsicht, das Gerät wird heiß. Verbrühungsgefahr durch austretenden Dampf. Den heißen Wasser-
kocher nur am Griff anfassen und zum Ausgießen den Deckel nicht öffnen.
▪ Den Topf stets restlos leeren. Kein Restwasser längere Zeit im Gerät stehen lassen.
▪ Der Netzstecker ist zu ziehen:
⋅bei Störungen während des Betriebes,
⋅vor jeder Reinigung und Pflege,
⋅nach dem Gebrauch.
▪ Bei Zweckentfremdung, falscher Bedienung oder nicht fachgerechter Reparatur wird keine Haftung
für eventuelle Schäden übernommen.
Ebenso sind Garantieleistungen in solchen Fällen ausgeschlossen.
▪ Verpackungsmaterial, wie z. B. Folienbeutel gehören nicht in Kinderhände.
Inbetriebnahme
Vor Erstbenutzung den Topf innen gründlich reinigen. Dazu den Deckel,
wie im Bild beschrieben, öffnen.
In der Ausgießtülle sorgt ein Siebeinsatz dafür, dass größere Kalkteile
beim Ausgießen zurückgehalten werden.
Die nicht benötigte Länge der Anschlussleitung kann am Boden des
Sockelteiles aufgewickelt werden.
Den Netzstecker an eine Schutzkontaktsteckdose anschließen.

Mindestens soviel Wasser einfüllen, dass der Wasserpegel an der Wasserstandsanzeige sichtbar ist,
höchstens jedoch bis zur Max - Markierung. Den Deckel schließen. Nur so arbeitet die KochStopAuto-
matic zuverlässig.
Den Topf in beliebiger Stellung auf den Sockel setzen. Erst jetzt die Einschalttaste unter dem Griff
nach unten drücken.
Die Einschalttaste rastet nur ein, wenn der Topf auf dem Sockel steht.
Das Wasser vom ersten Kochvorgang nicht zur Lebensmittelzubereitung verwenden.
Abschaltautomatik
Kurze Zeit nachdem das Wasser kocht, schaltet die KochStopAutomatic das Gerät ab. Ist der Topf nur
mit wenig Wasser gefüllt, verlängert sich die Abschaltzeit.
Wird nur warmes Wasser gewünscht, kann der Heizvorgang jederzeit durch Betätigen der Einschalt-
taste abgebrochen werden. Das Abschalten erfolgt auch automatisch, wenn der Topf vom Sockel
gehoben wird.
Funktionsbedingt kann aus den Ablauföffnungen unten am Griff etwas Kondenswasser auf den Rand
des Sockels laufen. Dies ist technisch bedingt und beeinträchtigt die Sicherheit des Gerätes nicht.
Sicherheitssystem
Ein Thermostat schützt den Wasserkocher bei versehentlichem Betrieb ohne Wasser vor Überhitzung,
indem er das Gerät abschaltet.
Vor dem Wassereinfüllen den Topf unbedingt abkühlen lassen.
Sollte bei unsachgemäßem Gebrauch der erste Thermostat versagen, so sorgt ein zusätzlicher Tempera-
turbegrenzer für einen zuverlässigen Schutz.
Reinigung und Pflege
Netzstecker ziehen und das Gerät abkühlen lassen. Das Gerät nicht in Wasser tauchen, sondern mit
einem feuchten Tuch, dem etwas Spülmittel beigegeben wird, abwischen und anschließend trockenrei-
ben.
Keine scharfen und scheuernden Reinigungsmittel verwenden.
Der Topf besteht aus nichtrostendem Edelstahl. Sollten sich dennoch Rostflecken zeigen, so sind dies
nur auf der Oberfläche festhaftende Ablagerungen. Sie sollten sofort mit einem Edelstahl-Putzmittel
entfernt werden.
Der Siebeinsatz in der Ausgießtülle kann bei geöffnetem Deckel zum Reinigen heraus genommen wer-
den. Dazu dessen obere Lasche nach oben drücken. Beim Einsetzen das Sieb mittig am Steg ansetzen
und anschließend nach vorn einrasten.

Entkalken
Kalkablagerungen führen zu Energieverlusten und beeinträchtigen die
Lebensdauer des Gerätes. Es schaltet vorzeitig ab, wenn die Kalkschicht zu
stark ist. Sie ist dann nur noch sehr schwer zu entfernen. Entkalken Sie deshalb
regelmäßig.
Wir empfehlen die Verwendung des Cromargol® Wasserkocher-Entkalkers.
Dieser ist speziell auf die Entkalkung von Wasserkochern entwickelt worden und
hochwirksam, lebensmittelsicher, geschmacks- und geruchsneutral. Durch die
spezielle Pflegeformel mit 2 Doppeladditiven ist der Cromargol® Wasserkocher-
Entkalker zudem besonders materialschonend.
Sie bekommen Cromargol® in der Regel dort, wo das Gerät gekauft wurde
oder im ausgewählten Fachhandel. Der Cromargol® Entkalker / Cromargol®
Wasserkocher-Entkalker ist nur in Deutschland und Österreich erhältlich.
▪ Gerät vor der Entkalkung vom Netz trennen und abkühlen lassen.
▪ Siebeinsatz entnehmen und auf den Boden des Wasserkochers legen. Nach
Beendigung des Entkalkens Siebeinsatz wieder einsetzen.
▪ Vor Gebrauch die Flasche Cromargol® schütteln. Eine Portion (100 ml)
Cromargol® Wasserkocher-Entkalker einfüllen und ca. 5 Minuten einwirken
lassen. Dann das Gerät bis über den Kalkrand an der Wandung mit kaltem
Leitungswasser auffüllen und 30 Minuten stehen lassen.
▪ Anschließend ausgießen und gründlich mit kaltem Leitungswasser ausspülen.
▪ Andere Entkalkungsmittel nach Herstellerangaben dosieren und
anwenden.
Lösung während der Entkalkung nicht erhitzen.
Achtung, für Schäden, die durch Nichtbeachtung der Entkalkungsvorschrift
entstehen, besteht kein Garantieanspruch.Ursachen für Störungen
▪ Ausgießverhalten verschlechtert/vermindert sich:
Siebeinsatz kontrollieren, ggfs. Siebeinsatz entkalken/reinigen
▪ Gerät schaltet vor dem Kochen ab:
Topfboden ist zu stark verkalkt, es ist zu wenig Wasser eingefüllt
▪ Gerät schaltet nicht ab:
Deckel ist nicht geschlossen
▪ Gerät lässt sich nicht einschalten:
Nach einem Betrieb ohne oder mit zu wenig Wasser ist das Gerät noch nicht
ausreichend abgekühlt.
Sollte die Störung nicht behoben werden können, das Gerät zur Reparatur geben.

Garantie-Information
Für unsere Geräte übernehmen wir gegenüber dem Endkunden eine 24-monatige
Haltbarkeitsgarantie. Sie beginnt mit dem Kauf des Gerätes durch den Endkunden
und gilt im Gebiet der Bundesrepublik Deutschland.
Ansprüche aus dieser Garantie sind unter Vorlage des Kaufbelegs direkt gegen-
über unserem zentralen Kundendienst geltend zu machen.
Von der Garantie ausgeschlossen sind Schäden durch normalen Verschleiß,
unsachgemäßen Gebrauch, Nichteinhaltung der Entkalkungsanweisung sowie
unterbliebene Pflege.
Der Endkunde besitzt zusätzlich zu den Ansprüchen aus dieser Garantie gesetzli-
che Ansprüche wegen Mängeln des Gerätes gegenüber seinem direkten Verkäu-
fer/Händler, die durch diese Garantie nicht eingeschränkt werden.

Dieses Produkt darf am Ende seiner Lebensdauer nicht über den normalen
Haushaltsabfall entsorgt werden, sondern muss an einem Sammelpunkt für das

Important safety instructions
▪ These devices can be used by children older than eight years old as
well as by persons with limited physical, sensory or mental capabili-
ties, persons lacking experience and/or lacking knowledge if they
are supervised or have received instructions regarding how the
device is to be used safely and have understood the resulting risks.
Children shall not play with the device. Cleaning and user mainte-
nance shall not be made by children, unless they are older than 8
years old and supervised.
▪ Keep the device and its cord out of the reach of children under 8
years old.
▪ Only operate the electric kettle with the appropriate base.
▪ Boiling water may splash out if the device is overfilled or operated
when the lid is not closed.
▪ Do not immerse the pot and base in water.
▪ If the appliance’s supply cord is damaged then it must be replaced
by the manufacturer’s central customer service department or by a
similarly qualified person. Improper repairs may constitute a serious
threat for users.
▪ This device is intended to be used in household and similar applica-
tions, such as:
⋅staff kitchen areas in shops, offices and other working environ-
ments;
⋅farm houses;
⋅by clients in hotels, motels and other residential type environ-
ments;
⋅bed and breakfast type environments.
The device is not intended for purely commercial use.

Safety instructions
▪ Only connect the device to properly installed earthed sockets. The wire and plug must be dry.
▪ Do not pull the connecting cable over sharp edges or clamp it. Do not let it hang down and protect
it from heat and oil.
▪ Never disconnect the mains plug from the socket by the cord or with wet hands.
▪ Stop using the appliance and/or disconnect it from the mains plug immediately if:
⋅The appliance or mains cable is damaged;
⋅the device is not leak-proof;
⋅there is any suspicion of a fault after dropping the appliance or similar.
In such cases, send the appliance to be repaired.
▪ Do not place the kettle on hot surfaces, such as hot plates or similar, or near open flames. It could
melt.
▪ Do not place the device on water-sensitive surfaces. Water spray may damage them.
▪ Do not operate the device under delicate furniture. Escaping steam from boiling could damage the
furniture.
▪ Never operate the kettle unattended.
▪ Do not switch on the device without water.
▪ Take the pot for filling from the base.
▪ Only fill with clean water, not milk, coffee, etc.
▪ Do not move the device during operation and do not pull on the mains cable.
▪ Caution: the device is hot. Risk of scalding from escaping steam. Only take hold of the hot kettle from
the handle and do not open the lid when pouring.
▪ Always completely empty the pot. Do not let any residual water remain in the device for a long
period of time.
▪ The mains plug is to be pulled:
⋅if malfunctions occur during use,
⋅before cleaning and care,
⋅after use.
▪ No liability is accepted for any damages resulting from misuse, incorrect operation or improper
repairs.
Claims under warranty are likewise excluded in such cases.
▪ Packaging material, such as plastic film bags, do not belong in the hands of children.
Initial operation
Clean the inside of the kettle thoroughly before using it for the first
time. To do this, open the lid as shown in the picture.
A strainer in the pouring spout ensures that large pieces of limescale
are filtered out when pouring.
The part of the connection cable which is not required can be wound
up in the base unit.
Connect the mains plug to an earthed socket.
Fill with as much water as needed to be able to see the level on the
water level indicator, although do not go above the Max mark. Close
the lid. Only in this way will the automatic boil-stop function work
reliably.

Place the kettle in any position on the base unit. Only after this has been done can you press down-
wards on the on/off switch under the handle.
The on/off switch only functions when the kettle is standing on the base unit.
Do not use the first quantity of boiled water for food preparation.
Automatic switch-off
Shortly after the water has started to boil, the automatic switch-off function will shut down the
kettle automatically. If the kettle is filled with only a small quantity of water, the switch-off period
will be increased.
If you require warm but not boiling water, the heating process can be interrupted at any time by pres-
sing the ON switch. The appliance will then shut down automatically as soon as the kettle is removed
from the base.
For functional reasons, a small amount of condensed water may run out through the openings at
the bottom of the handle and onto the rim of the base. This is due to technical reasons and does not
impair the safety of the appliance.
Safety system
If the kettle is accidentally operated without water, a thermostat protects the kettle from overheating
by switching off the appliance.
Make sure to allow the kettle to cool down before filling with water.
If the first thermostat should fail due to misuse, an additional temperature limiter offers reliable
protection.
Cleaning and maintenance
Disconnect the appliance from the mains and allow it to cool down. Never immerse the appliance in
water; simply wipe it over using a damp cloth with a drop of washing-up liquid and then rub dry.
Do not use harsh or abrasive cleaning agents.
The bottom of the kettle is made of stainless steel. If you notice rust stains all the same, these are only
deposits sticking to the surface. Remove these immediately with a cleaning agent for stainless steel.
The mesh filter in the spout can be pulled off to clean when the lid is open. To remove, press up the
top lug. When inserting, place the mesh filter centrally against the bar and then latch home to the
front.

Descaling
Limescale deposits lead to energy losses and impair the service life of the
appliance. The appliance switches off prematurely if the layer of limescale is
too thick. The limescale is then very difficult to remove. Therefore descale the
appliance regularly.
We recommend using Cromargol® kettle descaler. This product has been
designed specifically for descaling kettles and is extremely effective, food safe
and has a neutral smell and taste. Thanks to the special care formula with two
double additives, the Cromargol® kettle descaler does not damage the materials.
You can usually purchase Cromargol® from the store where you have purchased
your appliance or from your chosen dealer. The Cromargol® / Cromargol® water
kettle decalcifier is only available in Germany and Austria.
▪ Prior to descaling, unplug the appliance from the mains and allow it to cool
down.
▪ Remove the strainer and place it inside the kettle. Replace the strainer after
descaling has finished.
▪ Shake the bottle of Cromargol® before using it. Fill the kettle with one
portion (100 ml) of Cromargol® kettle descaler and leave for approximately
five minutes to take effect. Then fill the appliance with cold tap water to
cover the limescale ring on the wall and leave to stand for 30 minutes.
▪ Then pour out the water and thoroughly rinse with cold tap water.
▪ Measure out and use other descaling agents according to the
manufacturer’s instructions.
Do not heat the solution during descaling.
Caution: the warranty does not cover damage caused by failure to observe the
descaling instructions.Causes for malfunctions
▪ If the pouring behaviour worsens/diminishes:
check the strainer and descale/clean the strainer if necessary
▪ Device switches off before boiling:
Bottom of the pot is too strongly calcified, it is not filled with enough water
▪ Device does not switch off:
Lid is not closed
▪ Device will not switch on:
The device has not sufficiently cooled down following operation with no or
too little water.
If it is not possible to fix this problem, submit the device for repair.

▪ This product is supplied with a 13 A plug conforming to BS 1363 fitted to the mains lead. If the
plug is unsuitable for your socket outlets or needs to be replaced, please note the following. If the
plug is a non-rewireable one, cut it from the mains lead and immediately dispose of it. Never insert
it into a socket outlet as there is a very great risk of an electric shock.
▪ The replacement of the plug at the mains lead has to be done according to the following instruc-
tions:

ASTA approved. If any other type of plug is used, the appliance must be protected by a 10 A fuse
either in the plug or adapter or at the distribution board.
If in doubt - consult a qualified electrician.
▪ Never use the plug without closing the fuse cover.

Consignes de sécurité
▪ Branchez l’appareil uniquement à une prise électrique sécurisée. Le câble d’alimentation et la prise
doivent être secs.
▪ Ne pas tirer le cordon d’alimentation sur des bords tranchants, ne pas le coincer, ne pas le laisser
pendre et le protéger de la chaleur et d’huile.
▪ Ne pas débrancher l’appareil en tirant sur le câble ou avec de mains mouillées.

▪ Ne pas poser la bouilloire sur des surfaces chaudes, p. ex. plaques de cuisson ou équivalent ou à
proximité d’une flamme de gaz ouverte, elle pourrait fondre.
▪ Ne pas déposer l’appareil sur des surfaces sensibles à l’eau. Des projections d’eau pourraient les
endommager.
▪ Ne pas faire fonctionner l’appareil au-dessous de meubles fragiles, la vapeur qui se forme durant
l’ébullition pourrait les endommager.
▪ Ne jamais faire fonctionner la bouilloire sans surveillance.
▪ Ne pas mettre l’appareil en service sans eau.
▪ Retirer le réservoir du socle avant de le remplir.
▪ Ne verser que de l’eau pure, pas de lait, ni de café ou équivalent dans le réservoir.
▪ Ne pas déplacer l’appareil durant le fonctionnement et ne pas tirer sur le câble d’alimentation.
▪ Attention, l’appareil chauffe. Danger d’ébouillantement par la vapeur qui s’échappe. Ne saisir la
bouilloire chaude que par son anse et ne pas ouvrir le couvercle pour verser l’eau.
▪ Vider toujours la bouilloire complètement. Ne pas laisser de l’eau résiduelle pour une longue durée
dans l’appareil.
▪ Il faut débrancher la fiche secteur :
⋅en cas de dysfonctionnements durant l’utilisation,
⋅avant chaque nettoyage et entretien,
⋅après l’utilisation.
▪ Nous déclinons toute responsabilité pour des dommages éventuels en cas d’utilisation détournée,
de mauvaise utilisation, de réparation inappropriée.
Des réparations sous garantie sont également exclues dans des tels cas.
▪ Le matériel d’emballage, comme p.ex. les sachets en plastiques ne sont pas destinés aux enfants.

Mise en service
Nettoyer soigneusement l‘intérieur de la bouilloire avant la première
utilisation. Ouvrir pour ce faire le couvercle, comme décrit sur l‘image
ci-dessous.
Un filtre situé dans le bec-verseur garantit que les dépôts calcaires
seront retenus lorsque l‘on verse le contenu.
Si le câble d‘alimentation s‘avère trop long, il peut être enroulé dans un
compartiment situé dans le socle.
Brancher la fiche de secteur dans une prise électrique sécurisée.
Remplir avec de l‘eau au moins jusqu‘à ce que le niveau d‘eau soit
visible à l‘indicateur de niveau d‘eau, mais au maximum jusqu‘au repère
Max. Fermer le couvercle. C‘est seulement dans ces conditions, que
l‘arrêt automatique de chauffe sera fiable.
Poser la bouilloire sur le socle dans n‘importe quelle position. Enfoncer la touche de mise en marche
située sous la poignée.
Placer le récipient dans n‘importe quelle position sur le socle. Ne pousser la touche de branchement
vers le haut sous la poignée qu‘à ce moment-là.
La touche de branchement ne s‘enclenche que si le récipient est placé sur le socle.
Ne pas utiliser l‘eau de la première cuisson pour préparer des aliments.
La touche de mise en marche s‘enclenche uniquement si la bouilloire est positionnée sur le socle.
Ne pas utiliser l‘eau de la première chauffe pour la préparation d‘aliments.
Débranchement automatique
Peu après que l‘eau boue, le système KochStopAutomatic éteint l‘appareil. Si le récipient n‘est rempli
que de peu d‘eau, le temps de débranchement se prolonge.
Si vous ne souhaitez que de l‘eau chaude, le processus de cuisson pourra être interrompu à tout
moment en actionnant la touche de branchement. Le débranchement se fera aussi automatiquement
quand vous soulevez le récipient de son socle.
Pour des raisons fonctionnelles, un peu d‘eau de condensation peut sortir au bas de la poignée sur le
bord du socle. Ceci est d‘origine technique et n‘entrave pas la sécurité de l‘appareil.
Système de sécurité
Un thermostat protège la bouilloire de la surchauffe en cas d’exploitation involontaire sans eau en
débranchant l’appareil.
Avant de remplir le récipient d‘eau, impérativement le laisser se refroidir.
Si le premier thermostat s’avère être défaillant en cas d’emploi non conforme, un limiteur de tempéra-
ture supplémentaire assure une protection fiable.
Nettoyage et entretien
Retirer la fiche de courant et laisser refroidir l‘appareil. Ne pas plonger l‘appareil dans l‘eau mais
l‘essuyer avec un chiffon humide auquel vous avez ajouté un peu de produit pour la vaisselle et le
sécher ensuite.
Ne pas utiliser de produit nettoyant caustique et abrasif.
Le récipient se compose d’acier inoxydable. Si malgré tout, des taches de rouille apparaissent, il ne
s’agit ici que de dépôts incrustés sur la surface. Ils devront être éliminés avec un nettoyant d’acier inox.
Le porte-filtre dans la douille de déversement peut être retiré par le couvercle ouvert pour le nettoy-
age. Pour ce, pousser sa languette supérieure vers le haut. Pour insérer le filtre, le poser au milieu de la
traverse et ensuite l‘enclencher vers l‘avant.

Détartrer
Des dépôts calcaires peuvent causer des pertes d’énergie et influencent la durée
de vie de l’appareil. L’appareil s’éteint trop tôt si la couche calcaire est trop
importante. Cette couche se laisse alors très difficilement enlever. Détartrez pour
cette raison régulièrement votre bouilloire.
Nous vous conseillons d’utiliser le détartrant bouilloire Cromargol®. Ce dernier
a été spécialement conçu pour le détartrage de bouilloires. Il est hautement
efficace, ne représente aucun danger pour les aliments et est neutre en goût et
en odeur. Par sa formule de soins spéciale avec 2 doubles additifs, le détartrant
bouilloire Cromargol® préserve les matériaux.
Vous pourrez en règle générale obtenir Cromargol® là où vous avez acheté
l’appareil ou dans un commerce spécialisé de votre choix.Le détartrant
Cromargol® / détartrant bouilloire Cromargol® est uniquement disponible en
Allemagne et en Autriche.
Débrancher l’appareil avant le détartrage et le laisser refroidir.
▪ Retirez le filtre et posez-le sur le fond de la bouilloire. Une fois le détartrage
terminé, remettez le filtre.
▪ Avant l’utilisation, secouer la bouteille de Cromargol®. Verser une dose (100 ml) de détartrant
bouilloire Cromargol® et laisser agir environ 5 minutes. Remplir ensuite l’appareil jusqu’au-dessus
de la limite du calcaire sur les parois avec de l’eau froide et laisser reposer durant 30 minutes.
▪ Vider l’appareil ensuite et le rincer soigneusement avec de l’eau potable froide.
▪ Doser et utiliser d’autres agents détartrants en suivant les instructions des fabricants.
Ne pas chauffer la solution durant le processus de détartrage.
Attention, aucun droit à garantie n’est engagé pour des dommages dus au non-respect des
prescriptions du détartrage.
Causes des défaillances
▪ Si vous constatez une baisse ou dégradation des propriétés d’écoulement : Contrôlez le filtre et
détartrez/nettoyez celui-ci si nécessaire
▪ L’appareil s’éteint avant l’ébullition :
Le fond du réservoir et trop entartré, trop peu d‘eau dans le réservoir;
▪ L’appareil ne s’éteint pas :
Le couvercle n‘est pas fermé
▪ L’appareil ne s’allume pas :
L‘appareil n‘est pas encore assez refroidi après une utilisation ou après une utilisation avec trop
peu d‘eau.
Si ces défaillances ne peuvent pas être éliminées, il faut emmener l’appareil en réparation.
L’appareil est conforme aux Directives Européennes 2014/35/CE, 2014/30/CE et
2009/125/CE.
Au terme de son utilisation ce produit ne doit pas être éliminé avec les déchets
ménagers habituels, mais il doit être déposé dans un point de collecte pour le
recyclage d’appareils électriques et électroniques.

Istruzioni di sicurezza
▪ Collegare l’apparecchio soltanto a una presa schuko installata a norma. Il cavo di alimentazione e il
connettore devono essere asciutti.
▪ Non tirare o incastrare il cavo di collegamento sopra spigoli acuminati, non lasciarlo sospeso e
proteggerlo dal calore e dall’olio.
▪ Non staccare la spina dalla presa tenendola per il cavo o con mani bagnate.
▪ Non usare l’apparecchio e staccare subito la spina, se:
⋅l’apparecchio o il cavo d’alimentazione sono guasti;
⋅l’apparecchio non è ermetico;
⋅si sospetta un difetto dopo una caduta o un evento simile.
In questi casi far riparare l’apparecchio.
▪ Non disporre il bollitore su superfici calde, ad esempio su copri piastra o simili o in prossimità di

danneggiarlo.
▪ Non azionare l’apparecchio sotto mobili delicati, il vapore che fuoriesce durante la cottura potrebbe

▪ Non far funzionare l’apparecchio incustodito.
▪ Non accendere l’apparecchio senza acqua.
▪ Staccare la pentola dalla base per il riempimento.
▪ Versare soltanto acqua pura e non latte, caffè o simili.
▪ Non spostare l’apparecchio durante il funzionamento e non tirare il cavo di rete.
▪ Attenzione, l’apparecchio diventa caldo. Pericolo di ustione dovuto al vapore che fuoriesce.
Afferrare il bollitore caldo soltanto in corrispondenza dell’impugnatura e non aprire il coperchio
per versare.
▪ Svuotare sempre completamente la pentola. Non lasciare a lungo acqua residua nell’apparecchio.
▪ Il connettore di rete deve essere estratto:
⋅in caso di guasti nel funzionamento,
⋅prima di ogni pulizia e manutenzione,
⋅dopo l’uso.
▪ Si declina qualsiasi responsabilità in caso di uso improprio o di riparazione non fatta da un
professionista.
In questi casi sono escluse anche le richieste di garanzia.
▪ Tenere fuori dalla portata dei bambini il materiale da imballaggio, come ad esempio i sacchetti di
pellicola.

Attivazione
Prima del primo impiego pulire a fondo il pentolino nella parte
interna. Per questa operazione aprire il coperchio come mostrato
nell‘illustrazione in basso.
Nel beccuccio di fuoriuscita un elemento filtrante assicura che le
particelle di calcare più grandi vengano trattenute mentre si versa il
contenuto.
È possibile avvolgere la lunghezza della linea di allacciamento non
richiesta sul fondo del componente della base.
Collegare la spina di rete ad una presa con messa a terra.
Versare acqua a sufficienza fino a raggiungere un livello visibile
nell‘indicatore di livello dell‘acqua, non superiore alla tacca max.
Richiudere il coperchio. Solo in questo modo KochStopAutomatic
funziona in maniera corretta.
Riporre il pentolino nella posizione desiderata sulla base. Solo a
questo punto premere verso il basso il pulsante di attivazione sotto la
maniglia.
Il pulsante di attivazione si innesta in posizione solo se il pentolino si
trova sulla base.
Non utilizzare l‘acqua della prima bollitura per la preparazione di beni
alimentari.
Spegnimento automatico
Poco dopo la bollitura dell’acqua, lo stop automatico all’ebollizione spegne l‘apparecchio. Se il bricco è
stato riempito con poca acqua, il tempo di spegnimento si prolunga.
Se si desidera ottenere solamente acqua calda, è possibile interrompere in ogni momento la procedura
di riscaldamento azionando il tasto di accensione. L’apparecchio si spegne automaticamente anche
quando il bricco viene sollevato dalla base.
Dalle aperture di scarico sotto l’impugnatura può fuoriuscire un po‘ di condensa che si deposita sul
bordo della base. Ciò è dovuto a cause tecniche e non compromette la sicurezza dell‘apparecchio.
Sistema di sicurezza
Un termostato protegge il bollitore dal surriscaldamento, spegnendolo in caso di utilizzo accidentale
senz‘acqua.
Prima di versare l’acqua nel bricco è assolutamente necessario far raffreddare l‘apparecchio.
Se il primo termostato non dovesse funzionare in caso di utilizzo improprio, un secondo limitatore di
temperatura garantisce una protezione affidabile.
Pulizia e manutenzione
Staccare la spina e far raffreddare l‘apparecchio. Non immergere l’apparecchio nell’acqua, bensì pulirlo
con un panno umido imbevuto di un po‘ di detersivo per stoviglie, ed infine asciugarlo.
Non utilizzare detergenti aggressivi e abrasivi.
Il bricco è stato realizzato in acciaio inox. Se tuttavia dovessero comparire macchie di ruggine, queste
sono solamente date da depositi attaccati alla superficie, che devono essere immediatamente rimossi
con un detergente per acciaio inox.
L’inserto filtro all’interno del beccuccio può essere estratto per la pulizia aprendo il coperchio. A
tal fine premere verso l’alto la linguetta superiore. Se si vuole reinserire il filtro, appoggiare il lato
superiore al centro e farlo scattare in avanti in posizione.
