Wichtige Sicherheitshinweise
▪ Diese Geräte können von Kindern ab 8 Jahren
sowie von Personen mit reduzierten physischen,
sensorischen oder mentalen Fähigkeiten oder
Mangel an Erfahrung und/oder Wissen benutzt
werden, wenn sie beaufsichtigt oder bezüglich
des sicheren Gebrauchs des Gerätes unter-
wiesen wurden und die daraus resultierenden
Gefahren verstanden haben. Kinder dürfen
nicht mit dem Gerät spielen. Reinigung und
Benutzer-Wartung dürfen nicht durch Kinder
durchgeführt werden, es sei denn, sie sind älter
als 8 Jahre und beaufsichtigt.
▪ Bewahren Sie das Gerät und seine Zuleitung
außerhalb der Reichweite von Kindern unter 8

▪ Den Wasserkocher nur mit dem dazugehörigen
Sockel betreiben.

tauchen.
▪ Wenn die Anschlussleitung dieses Gerätes
beschädigt wird, muss sie durch den zentralen
Kundendienst des Herstellers oder eine ähn-
lich qualifizierte Person ersetzt werden. Durch
unsachgemäße Reparaturen können erhebliche
Gefahren für den Benutzer entstehen.
Vor dem Benutzen
Die Gebrauchsanweisung aufmerksam lesen. Sie enthält wichtige Hin-
weise für den Gebrauch, die Sicherheit und die Wartung des Gerätes.
Sie soll sorgfältig aufbewahrt und gegebenenfalls an Nachbenutzer
weitergegeben werden.
Das Gerät darf nur für den vorgesehenen Zweck, gemäß dieser
Gebrauchsanweisung, verwendet werden.

Dieses Gerät ist dafür bestimmt, im Haushalt und ähnlichen Anwen-
dungen verwendet zu werden, wie beispielsweise:
⋅in Küchen für Mitarbeiter in Läden, Büros und anderen
gewerblichen Bereichen;
⋅in landwirtschaftlichen Anwesen;
⋅von Kunden in Hotels, Motels und anderen Wohneinrich-
tungen;
⋅in Frühstückspensionen.
Das Gerät ist nicht für den rein gewerblichen Gebrauch bestimmt.
Beim Gebrauch die Sicherheitshinweise beachten.

Sicherheitshinweise
▪ Gerät nur an eine vorschriftsmäßig installierte Schutzkontaktsteck-
dose anschließen. Zuleitung und Stecker müssen trocken sein.
▪ Die Anschlussleitung nicht über scharfe Kanten ziehen oder
einklemmen, nicht herunterhängen lassen sowie vor Hitze und Öl
schützen.
▪ Den Netzstecker nicht an der Leitung oder mit nassen Händen aus
der Steckdose ziehen.
▪ Das Gerät nicht in Betrieb nehmen bzw. sofort Netzstecker ziehen,
wenn:
⋅Gerät oder Netzkabel beschädigt ist;
⋅das Gerät undicht ist;
⋅der Verdacht auf einen Defekt nach einem Sturz o. Ä. besteht.
In diesen Fällen das Gerät zur Reparatur geben.
▪ Den Wasserkocher nicht auf heiße Oberflächen z. B. Herdplatten
o. Ä. oder in der Nähe der offenen Gasflamme abstellen, er könnte
dabei anschmelzen.
▪ Das Gerät nicht auf wasserempfindliche Oberflächen abstellen.
Wasserspritzer könnten diese beschädigen.
▪ Das Gerät nicht unter empfindlichen Möbeln betreiben, beim
Kochen austretender Dampf könnte diese beschädigen,
▪ Den Wasserkocher niemals ohne Aufsicht betreiben.
▪ Das Gerät nicht ohne Wasser einschalten.
▪ Den Topf zum Füllen vom Sockel nehmen.
▪ Nur reines Wasser, keine Milch, Kaffee o. Ä. einfüllen.
▪ Das Gerät während des Betriebes nicht verrücken und nicht am
Netzkabel ziehen.
▪ Vorsicht, das Gerät wird heiß. Verbrühungsgefahr durch austre-
tenden Dampf. Den heißen Wasserkocher nur am Griff anfassen
und zum Ausgießen den Deckel nicht öffnen.
▪ Den Topf stets restlos leeren. Kein Restwasser längere Zeit im Gerät
stehen lassen.

▪ Der Netzstecker ist zu ziehen:
⋅bei Störungen während des Betriebes,
⋅vor jeder Reinigung und Pflege,
⋅nach dem Gebrauch.
▪ Bei Zweckentfremdung, falscher Bedienung oder nicht fachge-
rechter Reparatur wird keine Haftung für eventuelle Schäden
übernommen.
Ebenso sind Garantieleistungen in solchen Fällen ausgeschlossen.
▪ Verpackungsmaterial, wie z. B. Folienbeutel gehören nicht in
Kinderhände.
Inbetriebnahme
Vor Erstbenutzung den Topf innen gründlich reinigen. Dazu den Deckel
durch Drücken der Taste am Griff öffnen.
In der Ausgießtülle sorgt ein Siebeinsatz dafür, dass größere Kalkteile
beim Ausgießen zurückgehalten werden.
Die nicht benötigte Länge der Anschlussleitung kann am Boden des
Sockelteiles aufgewickelt werden.
Den Netzstecker an eine Schutzkontaktsteckdose anschließen.
Mindestens 0,5 Liter Wasser einfüllen, höchstens jedoch bis zur Max -
Markierung. Den Deckel schließen.
Den Topf in beliebiger Stellung auf den Sockel setzen. Zum Abschluss
der Inbetriebnahme kochen Sie eine maximale Wasserfüllung, die Sie
nicht zur Lebensmittelzubereitung verwenden sollten.
Bereitschaft
Nach Anschließen des Netzsteckers leuchten die Start/Stop- und
100°C-Taste weiß und das Gerät ist in Bereitschaft. Nach 15 Minuten
ohne Betätigung schaltet sich der Wasserkocher aus, die Kontrollleuch-
ten erlöschen und die Leistungsaufnahme beträgt dann weniger als 0,5
Watt.
Um das Gerät wieder in Bereitschaft zu setzen, drücken Sie die Start/
Stop-Taste .
Wasser kochen
Setzen Sie den gefüllten Wasserkocher auf den Sockel, das Gerät ist in
Bereitschaft, die Temperaturvorwahl 100°C leuchtet.
Drücken Sie die Start/Stop-Taste , diese leuchtet nun blau und das
Wasser wird erhitzt. Sobald das Wasser kocht, ertönt ein Signalton und
das Gerät wechselt automatisch in Bereitschaft.
Sie können den Kochvorgang jederzeit durch erneutes Drücken der
Start/Stop-Taste abbrechen.
Um den Wasserkocher auszuschalten, halten Sie die Start/Stop-Taste
ca. 3 Sekunden lang gedrückt, die Kontrollleuchten erlöschen.

Temperaturvorwahl
Der Wasserkocher bietet Ihnen die Möglichkeit, Wasser auf eine
gewünschte Temperatur, z. B. passend zu Ihrer favorisierten Teesorte,
zu erhitzen: 70°C - für feine grüne Tee-Sorten, oder 90°C - für Oolong
Tee oder weißen Tee. Achten Sie auf die jeweiligen Herstellerangaben.
Setzen Sie den gefüllten Wasserkocher auf den Sockel, ist das Gerät in
Bereitschaft.
Stellen Sie die gewünschte Temperatur (60, 70, 80 oder 90°C) durch
Drücken der entsprechenden Taste ein. Drücken Sie anschließend die
Start/Stop-Taste , diese leuchtet nun blau und das Wasser wird
erhitzt.
Nach Erreichen der gewünschten Temperatur ertönt ein Signalton.
Bitte haben Sie Verständnis dafür, dass die Temperatur technisch
bedingt um einige Grad von der eingestellten abweichen kann.
Warmhalte-Funktion
Stellen Sie die gewünschte Temperatur durch drücken der entspre-
chenden Taste ein. Drücken Sie anschließend die Warmhalte-Taste ,
diese leuchtet nun blau und das Wasser wird erhitzt.
Nach Erreichen der gewünschten Temperatur ertönt ein Signalton.
Das Wasser wird dann auf der gewünschten Temperatur gehalten,
bis Sie den Wasserkocher zum Ausgießen vom Sockel heben. Lassen
Sie ihn auf dem Sockel stehen, wechselt dieser nach ca. 20 Minuten
automatisch in Bereitschaft.
Abschaltautomatik
Kurze Zeit nachdem die gewählte Temperatur erreicht ist, wechselt
das Gerät in Bereitschaft. Ist der Topf nur mit wenig Wasser gefüllt,
verlängert sich die Abschaltzeit.
Das Abschalten erfolgt auch automatisch, wenn der Topf vom Sockel
gehoben wird.
Funktionsbedingt kann aus den Ablauföffnungen unten am Griff etwas
Kondenswasser auf den Rand des Sockels laufen. Dies ist technisch
bedingt und beeinträchtigt die Sicherheit des Gerätes nicht.
Sicherheitssystem
Ein Thermostat schützt den Wasserkocher bei versehentlichem Betrieb
ohne Wasser vor Überhitzung, indem er das Gerät abschaltet.
Vor dem Wassereinfüllen den Topf unbedingt abkühlen lassen.
Sollte bei unsachgemäßem Gebrauch der erste Thermostat versagen,
so sorgt ein zusätzlicher Temperaturbegrenzer für einen zuverlässigen
Schutz.
Reinigung und Pflege
Netzstecker ziehen und das Gerät abkühlen lassen. Das Gerät und den
Sockel nicht in Wasser tauchen, sondern mit einem feuchten Tuch, auf
das etwas Spülmittel beigegeben wird, abwischen und anschließend
trockenreiben.
Keine scharfen und scheuernden Reinigungsmittel verwenden.
Der Topf besteht aus nichtrostendem Edelstahl. Sollten sich dennoch
Rostflecken zeigen, so sind diese nur auf der Oberfläche festhaftende

Ablagerungen. Sie sollten sofort mit einem Edelstahl-Putzmittel
entfernt werden.
Der Siebeinsatz in der Ausgießtülle kann bei geöffnetem Deckel zum
Reinigen heraus genommen werden. Dazu an dessen Lasche nach oben
herausziehen. Beim Einsetzen das Sieb mittig ansetzen und anschlie-
ßend nach vorn einrasten.
Entkalken
Kalkablagerungen führen zu Energieverlusten und beeinträchtigen die
Lebensdauer des Gerätes. Es schaltet vorzeitig ab, wenn die Kalkschicht
zu stark ist. Sie ist dann nur noch sehr schwer zu entfernen. Entkalken
Sie deshalb regelmäßig.
Wir empfehlen die Verwendung von durgol®universal. Dieses ist
hochwirksam und materialschonend.
Sie bekommen es dort, wo das Gerät gekauft wurde, im ausgewählten
Fachhandel oder Sie bestellen direkt bei wmf consumer electric.
Gerät vor der Entkalkung vom Netz trennen und abkühlen lassen. 1 bis
2 Tassen durgol®universal einfüllen und Gerät stehen lassen, bis der
Kalkbelag am Boden entfernt ist. Dann das Gerät bis über den Kalkrand
an der Wandung mit kaltem Leitungswasser auffüllen und 15 Minuten
stehen lassen. Anschließend ausgießen und gründlich mit kaltem
Leitungswasser ausspülen.
Lösung während der Entkalkung nicht erhitzen.
Achtung, für Schäden, die durch Nichtbeachtung der Entkalkungsvor-
schrift entstehen, besteht kein Garantieanspruch.
Ursachen für Störungen
▪ Gerät schaltet vor dem Kochen ab:
Topfboden ist zu stark verkalkt,
es ist zu wenig Wasser eingefüllt
▪ Gerät lässt sich nicht einschalten:
Nach einem Betrieb ohne oder mit zu wenig Wasser ist das Gerät
noch nicht ausreichend abgekühlt.
Sollte die Störung nicht behoben werden können, das Gerät zur
Reparatur geben.
Garantie-Information
Für unsere Geräte übernehmen wir gegenüber dem Endkunden eine
24-monatige Haltbarkeitsgarantie. Sie beginnt mit dem Kauf des
Gerätes durch den Endkunden und gilt im Gebiet der Bundesrepublik
Deutschland.
Ansprüche aus dieser Garantie sind unter Vorlage des Kaufbelegs direkt
gegenüber unserem zentralen Kundendienst geltend zu machen.
Von der Garantie ausgeschlossen sind Schäden durch normalen
Verschleiß, unsachgemäßen Gebrauch, Nichteinhaltung der Entkal-
kungsanweisung sowie unterbliebene Pflege.
Der Endkunde besitzt zusätzlich zu den Ansprüchen aus dieser Garantie
gesetzliche Ansprüche wegen Mängeln des Gerätes gegenüber seinem
direkten Verkäufer/Händler, die durch diese Garantie nicht einge-
schränkt werden.

Das Gerät entspricht den Europäischen Richtlinien 2006/95/EG,
2004/108/EG und 2009/125/EG.
Dieses Produkt darf am Ende seiner Lebensdauer nicht über den
normalen Haushaltsabfall entsorgt werden, sondern muss an einem
Sammelpunkt für das Recycling von elektrischen und elektronischen
Geräten abgegeben werden.
Die Werkstoffe sind gemäß ihrer Kennzeichnung wiederverwertbar.
Mit der Wiederverwendung, der stofflichen Verwertung oder anderen

Important safety instructions
▪ These devices can be used by children older
than eight years old as well as by persons with
limited physical, sensory or mental capabili-
ties, persons lacking experience and/or lack-
ing knowledge if they are supervised or have
received instructions regarding how the device
is to be used safely and have understood the
resulting risks. Children may not play with the
device. Children may not perform the cleaning
and user maintenance, unless they are older
than eight years old and are supervised.
▪ Keep the device and its cable out of the reach
of children under eight years old.
▪ Only operate the electric kettle with the appro-
priate base.
▪ Caution: Boiling water may splash out if the
device is overfilled or operated when the lid is
not closed.
▪ Do not immerse the pot and base in water.
▪ If the appliance’s connection cable is damaged
then it must be replaced by the manufacturer’s
central customer service department or by a
similarly qualified person. Improper repairs may
constitute a serious threat for users.
Prior to use
Read the operating manual carefully. It contains important informa-
tion about the use, safety and maintenance of the appliance.
It should be kept in a safe place and passed on to further users if
appropriate.
The device may only be used for the intended purpose according to
these operating instructions.
This device is meant to be used in the household and for similar

Safety instructions
▪ Only connect the device to properly installed earthed sockets. The
wire and plug must be dry.
▪ Do not pull the connecting cable over sharp edges or clamp it. Do
not let it hang down and protect it from heat and oil.
▪ Never disconnect the mains plug from the socket by the cord or
with wet hands.
▪ Stop using the appliance and/or connect it from the mains plug
immediately if:
⋅the appliance or mains cable is damaged;
⋅the device is not leak-proof;
⋅there is any suspicion of a fault after dropping the appliance
or similar.
In such cases, send the appliance to be repaired.
▪ Do not place the kettle on hot surfaces, such as hot plates or
similar, or near open flames. It could melt.
▪ Do not place the device on water-sensitive surfaces. Water spray
may damage them.
▪ Do not operate the device under delicate furniture. Escaping steam
from boiling could damage the furniture.
▪ Never operate the kettle unattended.
▪ Do not switch on the device without water.
▪ Take the pot for filling from the base.
▪ Only fill with clean water, not milk, coffee, etc.
▪ Do not move the device during operation and do not pull on the
mains cable.
▪ Caution: the device is hot. Risk of scalding from escaping steam. Only
take hold of the hot kettle from the handle and do not open the lid
when pouring.
▪ Always completely empty the pot. Do not let any residual water
remain in the device for a long period of time.
▪ The mains plug is to be pulled:
⋅if malfunctions occur during use,
⋅before cleaning and care,
⋅after use.
▪ No liability is accepted for any damages resulting from misuse,
incorrect operation or improper repairs.
Claims under warranty are likewise excluded in such cases.
▪ Packaging material, such as plastic film bags, do not belong in the
hands of children.

Start-up
Thoroughly clean the inside of the pot prior to the first use. To do so,
open the lid by pressing the button on the handle.
A strainer insert in the pour spout ensures that larger limescale parti-
cles are kept back when pouring.
The unnecessary length of the connecting cable can be wound at the
bottom of the base part.
Connect the mains plug to an earthed socket.
Fill with at least 0.5 litres of water, but at the most up to the Max -
marking. Close the lid.
Place the pot on the base in any position. To complete the start-up,
boil a maximum capacity of water, which you should not use for food
preparation.
Standby
After connecting the mains plug, the start / stop and 100°C buttons
will illuminate white and the device is in standby mode. After 15
minutes of inactivity, the electric kettle switches off, the control lamps
go out and the power consumption is then less than 0.5 watts.
In order put the device back on standby, press the start / stop but-
ton.
Boil the water
Place the filled kettle on the base. The device is in standby mode and
the pre-selection temperature 100°C illuminates.
Press the start / stop button . This will now glow blue and the water
begins to be heated. As soon as the water is boiling, a signal tone will
beep and the device automatically switches to standby mode.
You can interrupt the boiling process at any time by pressing the start
/ stop button again.
In order to switch off the kettle, hold down the start / stop button
for approximately 3 seconds and the control lights will go out.
Temperature pre-selection
The kettle gives you the possibility of heating water to a desired
temperature, e.g. one that matches your favourite type of tea: 70°C for
fine green tea types or 90°C for Oolong tea or white tea. Observe the
respective manufacturer’s specifications.
Place the filled kettle on the base and the device is in standby mode.
Set the desired temperature (60, 70, 80 or 90°C) by pressing the
respective button. Then press the start / stop button . This will now
glow blue and the water begins to be heated.
A signal tone will beep once the desired temperature has been reached.
Please understand that for technical reasons the temperature may
differ a few degrees from the set temperature.

Keep-warm function
Set the desired temperature by pressing the respective button. Then
press the keep-warm button . This will now glow blue and the
water begins to be heated.
A signal tone will beep once the desired temperature has been reached.
The water is then kept at the desired temperature until you remove
the kettle from the base to pour out water. If you leave the kettle
on the base, it will automatically switch back to standby mode after
approximately 20 minutes.
Automatic shutoff
The device switches to standby mode shortly after the selected
temperature is reached. The shutoff time is extended if the pot is only
filled with a little water.
The shutdown takes place automatically if the pot is lifted from the
base.
For functional reasons, some condensation may run out of the outlet
openings at the bottom of the handle to the edge of the base. This
happens for technical reasons and does not impair the safety of the
device.
Safety system
A thermostat protects the kettle from overheating due to accidental
operation without water by switching off the device.
It is essential to allow the pot to cool down before filling with water.
Should the first thermostat malfunction due to improper use, an
additional temperature limiter ensures reliable protection.
Cleaning and maintenance
Remove the mains plug and allow the device to cool down. Do not
immerse the device and base in water, but rather clean them with a
damp cloth with a little washing-up fluid and then dry off.
Do not use any sharp and abrasive cleaning agents.
The pot is made of stainless steel. Should rust spots nevertheless
appear, they are only deposits adhered to the surface. They should be
removed immediately with a stainless steel cleanser.
The strainer insert in the pour spout can be removed for cleaning when
the lid is open. To do so, pull its clip upward. When inserting, place the
strainer in the middle and then snap it forward into place.

Descaling
Limescale deposits lead to losses of energy and impair the service life
of the device. It shuts off prematurely if the limescale layer is too
thick. It can then only be removed with great difficulty. Therefore
descale regularly.
We recommend using durgol®universal. This is highly effective and
non-abrasive.
You can find this where the device was purchased, in select speciality
stores or you can order it directly from wmf consumer electric.
Prior to descaling, unplug the device and allow it to cool. Fill with 1
to 2 cups of durgol®universal and leave the device until the limescale
layer on the bottom is removed. Then fill the device with cold tap
water to cover the limescale ring on the wall and allow to stand for 15
minutes. Then pour out and thoroughly rinse with cold tap water.
Do not heat the solution during descaling.
Attention: there is no claim under warranty for damages caused by not
observing the descaling instructions.
Causes for malfunctions
▪ Device switches off before boiling:
Bottom of the pot is too strongly calcified,
it is not filled with enough water
▪ Device will not switch on:
The device has not sufficiently cooled down following operation
with no or too little water.
If it is not possible to fix this problem, submit the device for repair.
For UK use only
▪ This product is supplied with a 13 A plug conforming to BS 1363
fitted to the mains lead. If the plug is unsuitable for your socket
outlets or needs to be replaced, please note the following. If the
plug is a non-rewireable one, cut it from the mains lead and imme-
diately dispose of it. Never insert it into a socket outlet as there is a
very great risk of an electric shock.
▪ The replacement of the plug at the mains lead has to be done
according to the following instructions:

As the colours of the wires in the mains lead of this appliance may not
correspond with the coloured markings identifying the terminals in

terminal which is marked the letter N or coloured black,
⋅the wire which is coloured brown must be connected to the
terminal which is marked with the letter L or coloured red.
▪ If a 13 A (BS 1363) plug is used it must be fitted with a 13 A fuse
conforming to BS 1362 and be ASTA approved. If any other type of
plug is used, the appliance must be protected by a 10 A fuse either
in the plug or adapter or at the distribution board.
If in doubt - consult a qualified electrician.
▪ Never use the plug without closing the fuse cover.
The appliance is compliant with European Directives 2006/95/EC,
2004/108/EC and 2009/125/EC.
This product may not be disposed of in normal household waste at the
end of its service life, but must be delivered to a collecting point for
recycling electrical and electronic appliances.
The materials are reusable in accordance with their identification. You
will make an important contribution to the protection of our environ-

Lire attentivement le mode d’emploi. Il contient des consignes impor-

Consignes de sécurité
▪ Branchez l’appareil uniquement à une prise électrique sécurisée. Le
câble d’alimentation et la prise doivent être secs.
▪ Ne pas tirer le cordon d’alimentation sur des bords tranchants, ne
pas le coincer, ne pas le laisser pendre et le protéger de la chaleur
et d’huile.
▪ Ne pas débrancher l’appareil en tirant sur le câble ou avec de mains
mouillées.
▪ Ne pas mettre l’appareil en service ou débrancher immédiatement
la fiche secteur si :
⋅l’appareil ou le câble d’alimentation sont endommagés;
⋅l’appareil fuit;
⋅une défaillance est soupçonnée suite à une chute ou équiva-
lent.
Dans ces cas emmener l’appareil en réparation.
▪ Ne pas poser la bouilloire sur des surfaces chaudes, p. ex. plaques
de cuisson ou équivalent ou à proximité d’une flamme de gaz
ouverte, elle pourrait fondre.
▪ Ne pas déposer l’appareil sur des surfaces sensibles à l’eau. Des
projections d’eau pourraient les endommager.
▪ Ne pas faire fonctionner l’appareil au-dessous de meubles fragiles,
la vapeur qui se forme durant l’ébullition pourrait les endommager.
▪ Ne jamais faire fonctionner la bouilloire sans surveillance.
▪ Ne pas mettre l’appareil en service sans eau.
▪ Retirer le réservoir du socle avant de le remplir.
▪ Ne verser que de l’eau pure, pas de lait, ni de café ou équivalent
dans le réservoir.
▪ Ne pas déplacer l’appareil durant le fonctionnement et ne pas tirer
sur le câble d’alimentation.
▪ Attention, l’appareil chauffe. Danger d’ébouillantement par la
vapeur qui s’échappe. Ne saisir la bouilloire chaude que par son
anse et ne pas ouvrir le couvercle pour verser l’eau.

▪ Vider toujours la bouilloire complètement. Ne pas laisser de l’eau
résiduelle pour une longue durée dans l’appareil.
▪ Il faut débrancher la fiche secteur :
⋅en cas de dysfonctionnements durant l’utilisation,
⋅avant chaque nettoyage et entretien,
⋅après l’utilisation.
▪ Nous déclinons toute responsabilité pour des dommages éventuels
en cas d’utilisation détournée, de mauvaise utilisation, de répara-
tion inappropriée.
Des réparations sous garantie sont également exclues dans des tels
cas.
▪ Le matériel d’emballage, comme p.ex. les sachets en plastiques ne
sont pas destinés aux enfants.
Mise en service
Nettoyer le réservoir soigneusement à l’intérieur avant la première
mise en service. Pour ce faire ouvrir le couvercle en appuyant sur la
touche qui se situe sur l’anse.
Un filtre dans le bec verseur garantit que des particules calcaires de
plus grande taille soient filtrées lors du versement.
La surlongueur du câble peut être enroulée au fond du socle.
Brancher la fiche de contact à une prise électrique sécurisée.
Remplir avec 0,5 l d’eau au minimum, sans jamais dépasser le repère
MAX.Fermer le couvercle.
Remettre le réservoir indifféremment de la position sur le socle. Pour
terminer la mise en service chauffez la quantité maximale en eau, que
vous ne devriez pas utiliser pour la réparation d’aliments.
Mode attente
Après le branchement du câble, les touches ON/OFF et 100° et
s’illuminent en blanc et l’appareil est en mode d’attente. La bouilloire
s’éteint automatiquement après 15 minutes d’inactivité, les voyants
témoins s’éteignent et la puissance descend à moins de 0,5 watt.
Pour remettre la bouilloire en mode attente, appuyez sur la touche ON/
OFF .
Faire bouillir l’eau
Remettez le réservoir rempli sur le socle, l’appareil est en mode
d’attente, la présélection thermique 100°C s’allume.
Appuyez sur la touche ON/OFF , celle-ci s’allume maintenant en bleu
et l’eau chauffe. Dès que l’eau bouillie, un signal sonore retentit et
l’appareil se remet automatiquement en mode d’attente.
Vous pouvez interrompre à tout moment les processus de chauffe en
appuyant à nouveau sur la touche ON/OFF .
Pour éteindre la bouilloire tenez appuyer la touche ON/OFF durant 3
secondes env., les voyants témoins s’éteignent.

Présélection thermique
Vous avez la possibilité de chauffer l’eau à une température souhaitée,
p. ex. adaptée à votre variété de thé préférée. 70°C - pour de variétés
subtiles de thé vert , ou 90°C - pour du thé Oolong ou du thé blanc.
Respectez les indications des fabricants correspondantes.
Remettez la bouilloire remplie sur le socle, l’appareil est en attente.
Réglez la température souhaitée (60, 70, 80 ou 90°C) en appuyant sur
la touche correspondante. Appuyez sur la touche ON/OFF , celle-ci
s’allume maintenant en bleu et l’eau chauffe.
Dès que la température souhaitée est atteinte un signal sonore
retentit.
Il faut savoir que la température peut, du à une contrainte technique,
différer de quelques dégrées de celle réglée.
Fonction GARDE AU CHAUD
Réglez la température souhaitée en appuyant sur la touche correspon-
dante. Appuyez ensuite sur la touche GARDE AU CHAUD , celle-ci
s’allume maintenant en bleu et l’eau chauffe.
Dès que la température souhaitée est atteinte un signal sonore
retentit.
L’eau est gardée chaude à la température souhaitée jusqu’à ce que
vous enlevez la bouilloire de son socle pour verser l’eau. Si vous la
laissez sur le socle, la bouilloire se remet automatiquement en mode
d’attente après env. 20 minutes.
Arrêt automatique
Peu après avoir atteint la température souhaitée, l’appareil se met en
mode d’attente. Si le réservoir n’est rempli qu’avec peu d’eau, le temps
d’arrêt se prolonge.
L’arrêt s’effectue automatiquement si le réservoir est retiré du socle.
Il se peut que l’eau de condensation s’écoule depuis les ouvertures
d’évacuation au-dessous de l’anse sur le bord du socle. Ce phénomène
est dû à une contrainte technique et n’altère en aucun cas la sécurité
de l’appareil.
Système de sécurité
Un thermostat protège la bouilloire d’une surchauffe si l’appareil est
mis accidentellement en marche sans eau, en éteignant l’appareil.
Laisser refroidir impérativement le réservoir avant de le remplir à
nouveau avec de l’eau.
Si le premier thermostat devait tomber en panne lors d’une utilisation
non-conforme, un limiteur thermique supplémentaire apporte une
sécurité fiable.

Nettoyage et Entretien
Débrancher l’appareil et le laisser refroidir. Ne pas plonger l’appareil et
le socle dans l’eau, mais l’essuyer avec un chiffon humide, imbibé d’un
peu d’agent de rinçage et les sécher ensuite.
Ne pas utiliser de nettoyants mordants et abrasifs.
Le réservoir est conçu en acier inoxydable. Si des taches de rouille
devaient apparaître, ils s’agit uniquement de dépôts qui adhèrent à
la surface. Ils devraient être enlevés immédiatement avec un agent
nettoyant spécial pour aciers inoxydables.
Le filtre dans le bec verseur peut être retiré pour le nettoyage quand
le couvercle est ouvert. Pour ce faire retirer sa languette vers le haut.
Pour remettre le filtre, le mettre en place au centre et l’enclencher
ensuite en le poussant vers l’avant.
Détartrer
Des dépôts calcaires peuvent causer des pertes d’énergie et influencent
la durée de vie de l’appareil. L’appareil s’éteint trop tôt si la couche
calcaire est trop importante. Cette couche se laisse alors très diffi-
cilement enlever. Détartrez pour cette raison régulièrement votre
bouilloire.
Nous recommandons l’utilisation de durgol®universal. Cet agent est
hautement efficace et protège les parois du réservoir.
Vous pouvez l’acheter là, où vous avec acquis l’appareil, dans le
commerce spécialisé ou vous le commandez directement chez wmf
consumer electric.
Débrancher l’appareil avant le détartrage et le laisser refroidir. Verser 1
à 2 tasses de durgol®universal et laisser agir jusqu’à ce que la couche
calcaire sur le fond ait disparu. Remplir ensuite l’appareil jusqu’au-
dessus de la limite du calcaire sur les parois avec de l’eau froide et
laisser reposer durant 15 minutes. Vider l’appareil ensuite et le rincer
soigneusement avec de l’eau potable froide.
Ne pas chauffer la solution durant le processus de détartrage.
Attention, aucun droit à garantie n’est engagé pour des dommages dus
au non-respect des prescriptions du détartrage.
Causes des défaillances
▪ L’appareil s’éteint avant l’ébullition :
Le fond du réservoir et trop entartré,
trop peu d‘eau
▪ L’appareil ne s’allume pas :
L‘appareil n‘est pas encore assez refroidi après une utilisation ou
après une utilisation avec trop peu d‘eau.
Si ces défaillances ne peuvent pas être éliminées, il faut emmener
l’appareil en réparation.
