Wichtige Sicherheitshinweise
▪ Diese Geräte können von Kindern ab 8 Jahren sowie von Personen
mit reduzierten physischen, sensorischen oder mentalen Fähigkeiten
oder Mangel an Erfahrung und/oder Wissen benutzt werden, wenn
sie beaufsichtigt oder bezüglich des sicheren Gebrauchs des Gerätes
unterwiesen wurden und die daraus resultierenden Gefahren
verstanden haben. Kinder dürfen nicht mit dem Gerät spielen.
Reinigung und Benutzer-Wartung dürfen nicht durch Kinder
durchgeführt werden, es sei denn, sie sind älter als 8 Jahre und
beaufsichtigt.
▪ Bewahren Sie das Gerät und seine Zuleitung außerhalb der
Reichweite von Kindern unter 8 Jahren auf.
▪ Den Wasserkocher nur mit dem dazugehörigen Sockel betreiben.
▪ Wird das Gerät überfüllt oder mit nicht geschlossenem Deckel
betrieben, könnte kochendes Wasser herausspritzen.
▪ Das Gerät niemals mit offenem Deckel oder ohne Kalkfilter benutzen.
▪ Den Wasserkocher und den Sockel nicht in Wasser tauchen.
▪ Wenn die Anschlussleitung dieses Gerätes beschädigt wird, muss
sie durch den zentralen Kundendienst des Herstellers oder eine
ähnlich qualifizierte Person ersetzt werden. Durch unsachgemäße
Reparaturen können erhebliche Gefahren für den Benutzer entstehen.
▪ Achten Sie darauf, kein Wasser auf den Sockel zu verschütten.
▪ Vorsicht, Verbrennungsgefahr: Die Temperatur der berührbaren
Oberflächen und des Teefilters können sehr heiß werden. Auch nach
dem Ausschalten des Gerätes bleiben diese noch einige Zeit heiß.
▪ Reinigen Sie nach Verwendung des Zubehöres und des Gerätes alle
Flächen/Teile, die mit Nahrungsmitteln in Berührung gekommen sind.
Bitte befolgen Sie die Hinweise im Kapitel „Reinigung und Pflege“.
▪ Das Gerät nur gemäß dieser Anleitung verwenden. Unsachgemäßer
Gebrauch kann Stromschlag oder andere Gefahrenmomente zur

Vor dem Benutzen
Die Gebrauchsanweisung aufmerksam lesen. Sie enthält wichtige Hinweise für den Gebrauch, die
Sicherheit und die Wartung des Gerätes.
Sie soll sorgfältig aufbewahrt und gegebenenfalls an Nachbenutzer weitergegeben werden.
Das Gerät darf nur für den vorgesehenen Zweck, gemäß dieser Gebrauchsanweisung, verwendet werden.
Beim Gebrauch die Sicherheitshinweise beachten.

Sicherheitshinweise
▪ Gerät nur an eine vorschriftsmäßig installierte Schutzkontaktsteckdose anschließen. Zuleitung und
Stecker müssen trocken sein.
▪ Die Anschlussleitung nicht über scharfe Kanten ziehen oder einklemmen, nicht herunterhängen
lassen sowie vor Hitze und Öl schützen.
▪ Den Netzstecker nicht an der Leitung oder mit nassen Händen aus der Steckdose ziehen.
▪ Das Gerät nicht in Betrieb nehmen bzw. sofort Netzstecker ziehen, wenn:
⋅Gerät oder Netzkabel beschädigt ist;
⋅das Gerät undicht ist;
⋅der Verdacht auf einen Defekt nach einem Sturz o. Ä. besteht.
In diesen Fällen das Gerät zur Reparatur geben.
▪ Den Wasserkocher nicht auf heiße Oberflächen z. B. Herdplatten o. Ä. oder in der Nähe der offenen
Gasflamme abstellen, er könnte dabei anschmelzen.
▪ Das Gerät nicht auf wasserempfindliche Oberflächen abstellen. Wasserspritzer könnten diese
beschädigen.
▪ Das Gerät nicht unter empfindlichen Möbeln betreiben, beim Kochen austretender Dampf könnte
diese beschädigen,
▪ Den Wasserkocher niemals ohne Aufsicht betreiben.
▪ Den Deckel während des Kochvorganges nicht öffnen.
▪ Das Gerät nicht ohne Wasser einschalten.
▪ Den Wasserkocher zum Füllen vom Sockel nehmen.
▪ Nur reines Wasser, keine Milch, Kaffee o. Ä. einfüllen.
▪ Das Gerät während des Betriebes nicht verrücken und nicht am Netzkabel ziehen.
▪ Vorsicht, das Gerät wird heiß. Verbrühungsgefahr durch austretenden Dampf. Den heißen
Wasserkocher nur am Griff anfassen und zum Ausgießen den Deckel nicht öffnen.

▪ Den Wasserkocher stets restlos leeren. Kein Restwasser längere Zeit im Gerät stehen lassen.
▪ Der Netzstecker ist zu ziehen:
⋅bei Störungen während des Betriebes,
⋅vor jeder Reinigung und Pflege,
⋅nach dem Gebrauch.
▪ Bei Zweckentfremdung, falscher Bedienung oder nicht fachgerechter Reparatur wird keine Haftung
für eventuelle Schäden übernommen.
Ebenso sind Garantieleistungen in solchen Fällen ausgeschlossen.
▪ Verpackungsmaterial, wie z. B. Folienbeutel gehören nicht in Kinderhände.
Inbetriebnahme und allgemeine Informationen
Der Wasserkocher besteht aus Edelstahl und WMF Glas. Dieses ist hitzebeständig, stabil,
geschmacksneutral und leicht zu reinigen.
Vor Erstbenutzung den Wasserkocher innen gründlich reinigen. (siehe Kapitel „Reinigung und Pflege“).
In der Ausgießtülle sorgt ein Siebeinsatz dafür, dass größere Kalkteile beim Ausgießen zurückgehalten
werden.
Die nicht benötigte Länge der Anschlussleitung kann am Boden des Sockelteiles aufgewickelt werden.
Den Netzstecker an eine Schutzkontaktsteckdose anschließen.
Die gewünschte Menge Wasser einfüllen (min. 200ml, max. 1000 ml).
Hinweis: Wenn Sie zu wenig Wasser einfüllen, schaltet der Trockengehschutz
(Überhitzungsschutz) die Heizelemente automatisch ab. Bei zu viel Wasser, kann es zum Überlaufen
von kochendem oder heißem Wasser kommen, das ernsthafte Verbrennungen oder Verletzungen
verursachen kann.
Der Deckel (2) muss hörbar einrasten, nur so arbeitet die KochStopAutomatic zuverlässig. Den
Wasserkocher in beliebiger Stellung auf den Sockel setzen.
Das Wasser vom ersten Kochvorgang nicht zur Lebensmittelzubereitung verwenden.
Folgende Funktionen stehen Ihnen zur Verfügung:
Wasserkochen
1. Drücken Sie die Taste am Griff (5), um den Deckel (2) zu öffnen und entnehmen Sie das Teesieb (4).
2. Füllen Sie den Wasserkocher mit der gewünschten Menge Wasser auf (min. 200ml, max. 1000 ml).
3. Schließen Sie den Deckel (2) bis er einrastet, um eine zuverlässige Funktion der KochStopAutomatic
zu ermöglichen.
4. Stellen Sie den Wasserkocher in beliebiger Stellung zurück auf den Sockel (8).
5. Drücken Sie die Start/Stop-Taste . Die zuletzt gewählte Temperatur-Taste leuchtet auf (60°, 70°,
80°, 90° oder 100°C). Falls Sie diese ändern wollen, drücken Sie Ihre gewünschte Temperatur-Taste (9).
Alternativ können Sie den Wasserkocher auch einschalten, indem Sie die Taste der gewünschten
Temperatur direkt drücken.
Hinweis: Nach 10 Sekunden ohne Betätigung schaltet sich der Wasserkocher automatisch aus. Die
Kontrollleuchten erlöschen und die Leistungsaufnahme beträgt dann weniger als 0,5 Watt.
6. Drücken Sie die Start/Stop-Taste , um das Aufheizen zu starten. Die Start/Stop-Taste und der
LED Ring (7) im Wasserkocher leuchtet auf. Sie können den Brühvorgang jederzeit durch erneutes
Drücken der Start/Stop-Taste abbrechen.
7. Sobald das Wasser die gewünschte Temperatur erreicht hat, ertönt ein akustisches Signal (mehrmals
in gewissen Abständen) und das Gerät schaltet sich automatisch aus.
Die Tastenbeleuchtung und der LED Ring (7) erlöscht.
Teezubereitung mit losem Tee
Folgen Sie den oben beschriebenen Schritten 1-7 (siehe Kapitel „Wasserkochen“), um das Wasser auf
die gewünschte Temperatur zu erhitzen.
Befüllen Sie das Teesieb (4) und beachten Sie bei der Portionierung die Anleitung auf der
Teeverpackung. Als Richtwert gilt ein Teelöffel loser Tee pro 250 ml Wasser.
Setzten Sie das Teesieb (4) in den Wasserkocher indem die Cromargan® Beschriftung und der Henkel
Richtung Ausgießtülle zeigen (Abb A).
Lassen Sie den Tee je nach Teesorte entsprechend lange ziehen. Nehmen Sie das Teesieb an dem Henkel
heraus. Achtung: Verbrennungsgefahr, da heißer Wasserdampf aufsteigt und das Teesieb heiß sein
könnte.
Teezubereitung mit Teebeuteln
Neben der Zubereitung von losem Tee können Sie auch handelsübliche Teebeutel verwenden.
Folgen Sie den oben beschriebenen Schritten 1-7 (siehe Kapitel „Wasserkochen“), um das Wasser auf
die gewünschte Temperatur zu erhitzen. Achten Sie darauf, dass das mitgelieferte Teesieb (4) aus dem
Wasserkocher herausgenommen ist.
In der Deckelinnenseite befindet sich eine Halterung in der die Teebeutel eingehängt werden können
(Abb. C).
Lassen Sie den Tee je nach Teesorte entsprechend lange ziehen.
Teesorten
Bei der Zubereitung von Tee spielt die Wassertemperatur und die Ziehdauer eine entscheidende Rolle.
Nachfolgend finden Sie einen Überblick zur Orientierung: Je nach Teesorte und persönlicher Vorliebe
können Temperatur und Ziehzeit angepasst werden.
Temperatur Teesorte Ziehdauer
60°C Japanischer Grüner Tee 3-4 Min.
70°C Weißer Tee 3-4 Min.
Gelber Tee 1-3 Min.
80°C Grüner Tee 3-4 Min.
Oolong Tee 1-2 Min.
90-100° C Schwarzer Tee 3-4 Min.
Kräutertee, Früchtetee 5-8 Min.
Abkochfunktion
Der Wasserkocher ist mit einer Abkochfunktion ausgestattet. Um diese zu aktivieren, drücken Sie bei
Auswahl der gewünschten Temperatur zweimal die entsprechende Temperatur-Taste (60°, 70°, 80° oder
90°C). Die Taste der gewählten Temperatur und die 100°C-Taste leuchten.
Drücken Sie die Start/Stop-Taste , um den Kochvorgang zu starten.
Die Start/Stop-Taste und der LED Ring (7) im Wasserkocher leuchtet zusätzlich auf.
Nachdem das Wassers aufgekocht ist, erlöscht die 100°C-Taste und der Abkühlvorgang startet
automatisch. Die Start/Stop-Taste blinkt.
Beim Erreichen der Ziel-Temperatur ertönt ein Signalton (mehrmals in gewissen Abständen) und die
Tastenbeleuchtung erlöscht.
Hinweis: Bitte beachten Sie, dass das Wasserabkühlen von 100°C auf 60°C bzw. 70°C eine längere Zeit
in Anspruch nimmt.
Warmhaltefunktion
Mit dieser Funktion wird das Wasser nach dem Erhitzen bis zu 20 Minuten auf der ausgewählten
Temperatur gehalten.

Die Warmhaltefunktion wird durch Drücken der Warmhalte-Taste (10) aktiviert. Sie können die
Warmhaltefunktion jederzeit ein- und ausschalten – auch nach dem Aufheizvorgang. Sobald
das Wasser die gewünschte Temperatur erreicht hat, ertönt ein Signalton (mehrmals in gewissen
Abständen) und die Warmhaltefunktion wird automatisch aktiviert. Es leuchten die zu haltende
Temperatur-Taste (9), die Warmhalte-Taste (10) und die Start/Stop-Taste . Die Funktion wird
automatisch ausgeschaltet, sobald der Wasserkocher vom Sockel (8) genommen wird oder die 20
Minuten erreicht sind.
Hinweis: Die Warmhaltefunktion kann nicht aktiviert werden, wenn die Wassertemperatur bei 100°C
liegt.
Sicherheitssystem
Ein Thermostat schützt den Wasserkocher bei versehentlichem Betrieb ohne Wasser vor Überhitzung,
indem er das Gerät abschaltet.
Vor dem Wassereinfüllen den Wasserkocher unbedingt abkühlen lassen.
Sollte bei unsachgemäßem Gebrauch der erste Thermostat versagen, so sorgt ein zusätzlicher
Temperaturbegrenzer für einen zuverlässigen Schutz.
Reinigung und Pflege
Netzstecker ziehen und das Gerät abkühlen lassen.
Das Gerät nicht in Wasser tauchen, sondern mit einem feuchten Tuch, dem etwas Spülmittel
beigegeben wird, abwischen und anschließend trockenreiben.
Keine scharfen und scheuernden Reinigungsmittel verwenden.
Das Innere des Wasserkochers mit warmen Wasser und einer Spülbürste reinigen. Dazu den Deckel
durch Drücken der Taste am Griff öffnen (5) und das Teesieb (4) herausnehmen.
Um Teeablagerungen zu vermeiden, empfehlen wir den Glasbehälter nach jeder Anwendung
zu reinigen. Bei hartnäckigeren Verschmutzungen oder Verkalkungen, können Sie einen
Entkalkungsvorgang durchführen. (siehe Kapitel „Entkalken“).
ACHTUNG: Reinigen Sie niemals den Wasserkocher unter fließendem Wasser.
Der Kalkfilter (1) in der Ausgießtülle kann bei geöffnetem Deckel (2) zum Reinigen herausgenommen
werden. Dazu dessen Lasche nach unten drücken und den Filter heraus nehmen. Zum Einsetzen des
Kalkfilters (1), diesen an der Lasche nehmen und die untere Kante des Filters mittig an der Innenseite
der Ausgießtülle ansetzen. Anschließend nach oben drücken (Abb. B).
Kalkfilter (1) und Teesieb (4) können Sie auch in der Spülmaschine reinigen.
Entkalkung
Bitte entkalken Sie Ihr Gerät regelmäßig mit einem hochwertigen dafür geeignetem handelsüblichen
Entkalkungsmittel. Beachten Sie dabei die Herstellerangaben insbesondere auch hinsichtlich des
anschließend notwendigen Reinigungsvorgangs mit klarem Wasser. Passende Entkalkungsmittel
enthalten Inhibitoren, welche die Geräte vor Schäden an Dichtungen und Oberflächen schützen,
keine anderweitigen Ablagerungen verursachen und darüber hinaus auch geschmacksneutral sind. Es
dürfen keine für das jeweilige Gerät ungeeignete Mittel (wie z. B. rein auf Essig- oder Zitronensäure
basierende Substanzen) zum Entkalken verwendet werden. Für Schäden, die durch Verwendung eines
ungeeigneten Entkalkungsmittels oder Nichtbeachtung der Entkalkungsvorschrift entstehen, besteht
kein Garantieanspruch. Bitte halten Sie Kinder von Entkalkungsmitteln fern und achten Sie darauf
keine beim Entkalken entstehende Dämpfe einzuatmen.
Ursachen für Störungen
▪ Ausgießverhalten verschlechtert/ vermindert sich:
Siebeinsatz kontrollieren, ggfs. Siebeinsatz entkalken/ reinigen
▪ Gerät schaltet vor dem Kochen ab:
Topfboden ist zu stark verkalkt, es ist zu wenig Wasser eingefüllt
▪ Gerät schaltet nicht ab:
Deckel ist nicht geschlossen
▪ Gerät lässt sich nicht einschalten:
Nach einem Betrieb ohne oder mit zu wenig Wasser ist das Gerät noch nicht ausreichend
abgekühlt.
Sollte die Störung nicht behoben werden können, das Gerät zur Reparatur geben.

Wir garantieren Ihnen hiermit während einer Garantiezeit von 2 Jahren die Haltbarkeit unserer Geräte
in Bezug auf Material, Verarbeitung und Funktion.
Die Garantiefrist beginnt mit dem Kaufdatum, zu dokumentieren durch den Kaufbeleg, und gilt im
Gebiet der Bundesrepublik Deutschland. Kommt es während der Garantiezeit zu Mängeln am Produkt,
so werden wir das mangelhafte Produkt kostenlos reparieren oder gegebenenfalls gegen ein neues
austauschen.
Der Garantieanspruch erstreckt sich ausschließlich auf diesen Anspruch. Weitergehende Ansprüche
aus dieser Garantie sind ausgeschlossen. Zur Geltendmachung des Garantieanspruchs ist der Kaufbeleg
nebst dem mangelhaften Produkt und einer Fehleranzeige einem WMF Fachhändler oder direkt
unserem zentralen Kundendienst vorzulegen.
Gesetzliche Gewährleistung
Durch diese Garantieerklärung werden Ihre gesetzlichen Gewährleistungsrechte, die dem Käufer
gegen den Verkäufer zustehen, wenn die Kaufsache zum Zeitpunkt des Gefahrüberganges nicht
mangelfrei war, nicht eingeschränkt. Innerhalb der Gewährleistungsfrist stehen Ihnen die gesetzlichen
Gewährleistungsrechte auf Nacherfüllung, Minderung, Rücktritt und Schadensersatz gemäß §§ 437 ff
BGB im gesetzlichen Umfang ungemindert zu.
Garantieausschluss
Es wird keine Garantie übernommen für Beschädigungen, die aus folgenden Gründen entstanden sind:
⋅Schnitt- und Kratzspuren von rein optischer Natur
⋅Normaler Verschleiß
⋅Unsachgemäßer Gebrauch
⋅Nichteinhaltung der Entkalkungsanweisung
⋅Unterbliebene Pflege
⋅Glasbruch
⋅Nichtbefolgen dieser Bedienungsanleitung
⋅Nicht sachgemäß durchgeführte Reparaturen
⋅Einbau von nicht der Originalausführung entsprechenden Ersatzteilen
Der Garantieanspruch erstreckt sich ausschließlich auf den normalen bestimmungsgemäßen Gebrauch

Safety instructions

Operating the appliance for the first time and general information
The kettle is made from stainless steel and WMF glass. It is heat resistant, stable, neutral tasting and
easy to clean.
Thoroughly clean the inside of the kettle prior to the first use. (see the chapter entitled “Cleaning and
care”).
A strainer insert in the pour spout ensures that larger limescale particles are kept back when pouring.
The unnecessary length of the connecting cable can be wound at the bottom of the base part.
Connect the mains plug to an earthed socket.
Add the desired amount of water (min. 200 ml, max. 1,000 ml).
Note: If you use too little water, the dry-run protection (overheating protection)
automatically switches the heating element off. If there is too much water then hot water may boil
over, which can cause serious injury or burns.
The lid (2) must audibly lock into place; only in this way does the automatic boil stop work reliably.
Place the kettle on the base in any position.
Do not use the water from the first boiling process for food preparation.
The following functions are available:
Boiling water
1. Open the lid (2) by pressing the button on the handle (5) and remove the tea strainer (4).
2. Fill the kettle with the desired amount of water (min. 200 ml, max. 1,000 ml).
3. Close the lid (2) until it locks into place to enable the automatic boil stop to function reliably.
4. Put the kettle back onto the base (8) in any position.
5. Press the Start/Stop button . The most recently selected temperature button lights up (60°,
70°, 80°, 90° or 100°C). If you want to change this, press the appropriate button for your desired
temperature (9). Alternatively, you can also switch the kettle on by directly pressing the respective
button for your desired temperature.
Note: If no key is pressed for 10 seconds, the kettle automatically switches itself off. The indicator
lights go out and the power consumption is then less than 0.5 watts.
6. Press the Start/Stop button to start heating. The Start/Stop button and the LED ring (7) inside
the kettle lights up. You can interrupt the brewing process at any time by pressing the Start/Stop
button again.
7. As soon as the desired temperature has been reached, the appliance beeps (several times at certain
intervals) and switches itself off automatically.
The button lighting and the LED ring (7) goes out.
Making tea with loose leaves
Follow steps 1 to 7 described above (see the chapter entitled “Boiling water”) to heat the water up to
the desired temperature.
Fill the tea strainer (4) and follow the instructions on the packaging when portioning out the tea. As a
rough guide, there should be one teaspoon of loose tea for each 250 ml of water.
Place the tea strainer (4) in the kettle by pointing the Cromargan® label and the handle in the
direction of the pour spout (Fig. A).
Leave the tea to infuse for the appropriate amount of time depending on the type of tea. Remove
the tea strainer using the handle. Caution: The rising steam can cause burns and the tea strainer may
become hot.
Making tea with teabags
As well as making tea using loose leaves, you can also use regular teabags.
Follow steps 1 to 7 described above (see the chapter entitled “Boiling water”) to heat the water up to
the desired temperature. Ensure that the tea strainer included (4) has been removed from the kettle.
In the inside section of the lid, there is a holder which the teabag can be hooked onto (Fig. C).
Leave the tea to infuse for the appropriate amount of time depending on the type of tea.
Types of tea
The temperature of the water and the length of time you leave the tea to infuse plays a key role in
making tea. Below you will find an overview to act as a guide: The temperature and infusion time can
be adapted depending on the type of tea and your personal preferences.

Boil function
The kettle is equipped with a boil function. To activate it, press the appropriate temperature button
twice when choosing the desired temperature (60°, 70°, 80° or 90°C). The temperature button selected
and the 100°C button light up.
Press the Start/Stop button to start boiling.
The Start/Stop button and the LED ring (7) inside the kettle also lights up.
Once the water has boiled, the 100°C button light goes out and the cooling process starts
automatically. The Start/Stop button flashes.
When the target temperature is reached, the appliance beeps (several times at certain intervals) and
the button lighting goes out.
Note: Please note that it takes several minutes for the water to cool down from 100°C to 60°C or 70°C.

Keep warm function
This function keeps the water at the selected temperature for up to 20 minutes after heating.
The keep warm function is activated by pressing the Keep Warm button (10). You can switch the keep
warm function on and off at any time – even after heating water up.
As soon as the desired temperature has been reached, the appliance beeps (several times at certain
intervals) and the keep warm function is activated automatically. The temperature button to be
held down (9), the Keep Warm button (10) and the Start/Stop button light up. The function is
automatically switched off as soon as the kettle is taken off the base (8) or 20 minutes have passed.
Note: The keep warm function cannot be activated when the water temperature is 100°C.
Safety system
A thermostat protects the kettle from overheating due to accidental operation without water by
switching off the device.
It is essential to allow the kettle to cool down before filling with water.
Should the first thermostat malfunction due to improper use, an additional temperature limiter
provides reliable protection.
Cleaning and care
Remove the mains plug and allow the appliance to cool down.
Do not immerse the appliance in water, but rather clean it using a damp cloth with a little washing-up
liquid and then dry it.
Do not use harsh or abrasive cleaning agents.
The inside of the kettle should be cleaned with warm water and a washing-up brush. To do so, open
the lid by pressing the button on the handle (5) and remove the tea strainer (4).
We recommend cleaning the glass container after each use to prevent tea deposits from forming.
You can descale the kettle for more stubborn stains or limescale build-up. (see the chapter entitled
“Descaling”).
CAUTION: Never clean the kettle under running water.
The scale filter (1) in the pour spout can be removed for cleaning when the lid (2) is open. To do this,
press its clip downwards and remove the filter. To insert the scale filter (1), take it on the clip and
position the underside of the filter in the inside, centred, of the pour spout. Finally, push it upwards
(Fig. B).
The scale filter (1) and tea strainer (4) can also be cleaned in the dishwasher.
Descaling
Please descale your appliance regularly using a high-quality commercial descaling
agent. Follow the manufacturer’s instructions, particularly with regard to the
subsequent cleaning with clear water, which is essential! Suitable descaling
agents contain inhibitors that protect appliances against damage to seals and
surfaces, do not cause additional deposits and have no taste. Do not use descaling
agents that are unsuitable for your appliance (such as substances based purely
on vinegar or citric acid). Our warranty does not cover damage caused by using
unsuitable descaling agents or failure to follow the descaling instructions. Please
keep descaling agents out of reach of children and make sure you do not inhale
any of the steam given off during descaling.
Causes for malfunctions
▪ If the pouring behaviour worsens/diminishes:
check the strainer and descale/clean the strainer if necessary
▪ Device switches off before boiling:
Bottom of the pot is too strongly calcified, it is not filled with enough water
▪ Device does not switch off:
Lid is not closed
▪ Device will not switch on:
The device has not sufficiently cooled down following operation with no or
too little water.
If it is not possible to fix this problem, submit the device for repair.

Mise en marche et informations générales
La bouilloire est composée d’acier inoxydable et de verre WMF. Résistante à la chaleur, elle est robuste,
facile à nettoyer et n’absorbe pas les odeurs.
Nettoyez la bouilloire soigneusement à l’intérieur avant la première mise en service. (voir chapitre
«Nettoyage et Entretien»).
Un filtre dans le bec verseur garantit le filtrage des particules calcaires de plus grande taille lors du
versement.
La surlongueur du câble peut être enroulée au fond du socle.
Branchez la fiche de contact à une prise électrique sécurisée.
Remplissez la quantité d’eau souhaitée (min. 200ml, max. 1000ml).
Remarque: Lorsque la quantité d’eau est insuffisante, la protection contre la marche à sec
(protection contre la surchauffe) de l’élément chauffant s’active automatiquement. Lorsque la quantité
d’eau est trop importante, cela peut entraîner un débordement de l’eau en ébullition ou chaude, ce qui
est susceptible de provoquer des brûlures ou des blessures graves.
Le couvercle(2) doit être parfaitement encliqueté pour que la fonction Arrêt automatique fonctionne
de façon fiable. Remettez la bouilloire indifféremment de la position sur le socle.

Faire bouillir de l’eau

3. Fermez le couvercle(2) jusqu’à entendre le clic, afin de permettre un fonctionnement fiable de
l’Arrêt automatique.
4. Remettez la bouilloire indifféremment de la position sur le socle(8).
5. Appuyez sur la touche marche/arrêt . La touche de dernière température choisie s’allume (60°,
70°, 80°, 90° ou 100°C). Pour la modifier, appuyez sur la touche de température souhaitée(9). De
même, il est possible d’allumer la bouilloire en appuyant directement sur la touche de température
souhaitée.
Remarque: 10 secondes après le dernier actionnement, la bouilloire s’éteint automatiquement. Les
voyants de commande s’éteignent et la puissance énergétique s’élève alors à moins de 0,5watt.
6. Appuyez sur la touche marche/arrêt pour démarrer le chauffage. La touche marche/arrêt et
l’anneau à LED(7) de la bouilloire s’allument. Pour interrompre à tout moment les processus de
préparation, appuyez à nouveau sur la touche marche/arrêt .
7. Dès que l’eau a atteint la température souhaitée, un signal acoustique se fait entendre (plusieurs
fois à intervalles définis) et l’appareil s’éteint automatiquement.
L’éclairage des touches et l’anneau à LED (7) s’éteignent.
Préparer du thé avec du thé en vrac
Effectuez les étapes décrites ci-dessus 1 à 7 (voir chapitre «Faire bouillir de l’eau») pour chauffer l’eau
à la température souhaitée.
Remplissez la passoire à thé(4) en respectant les proportions indiquées sur l’emballage du thé. À titre
indicatif, vous pouvez utiliser une cuiller à café de thé en vrac pour 250ml d’eau.
Placez la passoire à thé(4) dans la bouilloire de manière à ce que l’inscription Cromargan® et l’anse
dans la direction du bec verseur soient visibles (illustration A).
Laissez le thé infuser en fonction du type de thé utilisé. Retirez la passoire à thé de l’anse. Attention:
Il existe un risque de brûlure lorsque la vapeur d’eau chaude s’échappe et la passoire à thé peut être
chaude.
Préparer du thé avec du thé en sachet
En plus de la préparation avec du thé en vrac, vous pouvez également utiliser des sachets de thé
classiques.
Effectuez les étapes décrites ci-dessus 1 à 7 (voir chapitre «Faire bouillir de l’eau») pour chauffer
l’eau à la température souhaitée. Veillez à ce que la passoire à thé(4) incluse dans la livraison soit bien
retirée de la bouilloire.
Un support dans lequel les sachets de thé peuvent être suspendus se trouve dans le côté intérieur du
couvercle (illustration C).
Laissez le thé infuser en fonction du type de thé utilisé.
Types de thé
Lors de la préparation de thé, la température de l’eau et la durée d’infusion jouent un rôle décisif. Vous
trouverez ci-après un aperçu à titre indicatif: Selon le type de thé et les préférences personnelles, la
température et la durée d’infusion peuvent être adaptées.

Fonction d’ébullition
La bouilloire est équipée d’une fonction d’ébullition. Pour l’activer, lors de la sélection de la
température souhaitée, appuyez deux fois sur la touche de température correspondante (60°, 70°,
80° ou 90°C). La touche de la température souhaitée et la touche 100°C s’allument.
Appuyez sur la touche marche/arrêt pour démarrer le processus de chauffage.
La touche marche/arrêt et l’anneau à LED(7) de la bouilloire s’allument également.
Une fois que l’eau a bouilli, la touche 100°C s’éteint et le processus de refroidissement commence
automatiquement. La touche marche/arrêt clignote.
Lorsque la température cible est atteinte, un signal sonore se fait entendre (plusieurs fois à intervalles
définis) et l’éclairage des touches s’éteint.
Remarque: Veuillez noter que le refroidissement de l’eau, de 100°C à 60°C ou 70°C prend plus de
temps.
Fonction de maintien au chaud
Cette fonction permet de maintenir l’eau à la température souhaitée après ébullition jusqu’à 20
minutes.
La fonction de maintien au chaud est activée en appuyant sur la touche de maintien au chaud(10).

Vous pouvez activer et désactiver à tout moment la fonction de maintien au
chaud, même après le processus de chauffage.
Dès que l’eau a atteint la température souhaitée, un signal sonore se fait entendre
(plusieurs fois à intervalles définis) et la fonction de maintien au chaud s’active
automatiquement. La touche de la température à maintenir(9), la touche de
maintien au chaud(10) et la touche marche/arrêt s’allument. La fonction
s’éteint automatiquement dès que la bouilloire est retirée du socle(8) ou lorsque
20 minutes se sont écoulées.
Remarque: La fonction de maintien au chaud ne peut pas être activée lorsque la
température de l’eau est de 100°C.
Système de sécurité
Un thermostat protège la bouilloire d’une surchauffe si l’appareil est mis
accidentellement en marche sans eau, en éteignant l’appareil.
Laissez refroidir impérativement la bouilloire avant de la remplir à nouveau avec
de l’eau.
Si le premier thermostat devait tomber en panne lors d’une utilisation non-
conforme, un limiteur thermique supplémentaire apporte une sécurité fiable.
Nettoyage et entretien
Débranchez l’appareil et laissez-le refroidir.
Ne plongez pas l’appareil dans l’eau, mais essuyez-le avec un chiffon humide,
imbibé d’un peu de produit vaisselle, puis séchez-le.
N’utilisez pas de nettoyants corrosifs ou abrasifs.
Nettoyez l’intérieur de la bouilloire avec de l’eau chaude et une brosse à vaisselle.
Pour ce faire, ouvrez le couvercle en appuyant sur la touche qui se situe sur la
poignée(5) et retirez la passoire à thé(4).
Afin d’éviter des dépôts de thé, nous vous recommandons de nettoyer le récipient
en verre après chaque utilisation. En cas d’entartrage ou de saletés tenaces, vous
pouvez réaliser un processus de détartrage. (voir le chapitre «Détartrage»).
ATTENTION: Ne nettoyez jamais la bouilloire sous l’eau courante.
Le filtre à calcaire(1) dans le bec verseur peut être retiré pour le nettoyage
quand le couvercle(2) est ouvert. Pour ce faire, poussez sa languette vers le bas
et sortez le filtre. Pour replacer le filtre à calcaire(1), saisissez-le par la languette
puis placez le bord inférieur du filtre de façon centrée sur le bec verseur. Appuyez
ensuite vers l’avant (illustration B).
Il est également possible de nettoyer le filtre à calcaire(1) et la passoire à thé(4)
au lave-vaisselle.
Détartrage
Veuillez détartrer votre appareil régulièrement, à l’aide d’un agent détartrant
courant, approprié et de bonne qualité. Suivez les consignes du fabricant, en
particulier concernant la procédure de nettoyage à l’eau claire nécessaire après
le détartrage. Les agents détartrants appropriés contiennent des inhibiteurs
qui protègent l’appareil contre la détérioration des joints et des surfaces,
n’engendrent pas d’autres dépôts et n’absorbent pas les odeurs. Ne pas utiliser
d’agent inapproprié (par ex. à base de vinaigre ou d’acide citrique pur) pour
détartrer cet appareil. Nous ne prenons aucune responsabilité de garantie pour
les dommages causés par l’utilisation d’un agent détartrant inapproprié, ou par
le non-respect des consignes de détartrage. Veuillez tenir les enfants à l’écart des
agents détartrants et veillez à ne pas inspirer les vapeurs qui se forment lors du

Causes des défaillances
▪ Si vous constatez une baisse ou dégradation des propriétés d’écoulement :
Contrôlez le filtre et détartrez/nettoyez celui-ci si nécessaire
▪ L’appareil s’éteint avant l’ébullition :
Le fond du réservoir et trop entartré, trop peu d‘eau dans le réservoir;

L‘appareil n‘est pas encore assez refroidi après une utilisation ou après une
utilisation avec trop peu d‘eau.
Si ces défaillances ne peuvent pas être éliminées, il faut emmener l’appareil en
réparation.
L’appareil est conforme aux directives européennes 2014/35/CE, 2014/30/CE et
2009/125/CE.
Au terme de son utilisation ce produit ne doit pas être éliminé avec les déchets
ménagers habituels, mais il doit être déposé dans un point de collecte pour le

Advertencias de seguridad

caliente solo por el asa y no abra la tapa cuando vierta el líquido.

Puesta en funcionamiento e información general
El hervidor de agua está fabricado en acero inoxidable y vidrio WMF. Este vidrio es resistente al calor,
duradero, de sabor neutral y de limpieza fácil.
Antes del primer uso limpie bien el hervidor de agua por dentro. (véase el capítulo “Limpieza y
cuidados”)
Dentro del pico vertedor hay un filtro que sirve para retener la mayor parte de cal cuando vierte el
agua.
El cable sobrante puede guardarse enrollado en el suelo de la base.
Conecte el enchufe de red a una caja de enchufe con puesta a tierra.
Vierta la cantidad de agua deseada (mín. 200 ml, máx. 1000 ml).
Indicación: Si vierte poca agua, la función de apagado automático
(protección contra sobrecalentamiento) desactiva de manera automática la resistencia calentadora.
En caso de que haya demasiada agua, se puede desbordar el agua caliente o hirviendo, lo que puede
causar quemaduras o lesiones graves.
La tapa (2) debe encastrarse de manera audible, ya que solo así puede funcionar la desconexión
automática correctamente. Coloque el hervidor de agua sobre la base.
No utilice el primer agua de la cocción para preparar alimentos.
Dispone de las siguientes funciones:
Hervir agua
1. Pulse la tecla en el mango (5) para abrir la tapa (2) y quite el colador de té (4).
2. Llene el hervidor de agua con la cantidad de agua deseada (mín. 200 ml, máx. 1000 ml).
3. Cierre la tapa (2) hasta que se encastre para que la función de desconexión automática funcione de
manera fiable.
4. Vuelva a colocar el hervidor de agua sobre la base (8).
5. Presione la tecla Start/Stop . Se ilumina la tecla de temperatura seleccionada la última vez (60°,
70°, 80°, 90° o 100°C). Si desea cambiarla, pulse la tecla de temperatura deseada (9). También puede
encender el hervidor de agua pulsando directamente la tecla de temperatura deseada.
Indicación: Después de 10 segundos sin activación el hervidor de agua se apaga automáticamente. Las
luces de control se apagan y el consumo de energía es de menos de 0,5 vatios.
6. Pulse la tecla Start/Stop para empezar a calentar. La tecla Start/Stop y el anillo LED (7)
del hervidor se encienden. Puede interrumpir el proceso de escaldado en cualquier momento,
simplemente volviendo a pulsar la tecla Start/Stop .
7. En cuanto el agua alcanza la temperatura deseada, suena una señal acústica (varias veces a
intervalos regulares) y el aparato se apaga automáticamente.
Se apagan la iluminación de las teclas y el anillo LED (7).
Preparación de tés con té suelto
Siga los pasos descritos anteriormente 1-7 (véase el capítulo “Hervir agua” para calentar el agua a la
temperatura deseada.
Llene el colador de té (4) teniendo en cuenta las indicaciones en el paquete de té con respecto a la
dosis. Como valor orientativo se utiliza una cuchara de té suelto por 250 ml de agua.
Coloque el colador de té (4) en el hervidor de agua y, para ello, la inscripción Cromargan® y código
deben estar orientados hacia el pico vertedor (fig. A).
Deje reposar el té el tiempo necesario, que variará en función del tipo de té. Saque el colador de té del
asa. Atención: Existe peligro de quemaduras, dado que sale vapor de agua y el colador de té puede
estar caliente.
Preparación de té con bolsitas de té
Además de preparar té suelto, también puede emplear las habituales bolsitas de té.
Siga los pasos descritos anteriormente 1-7 (véase el capítulo “Hervir agua” para calentar el agua a la
temperatura deseada. Obsérvese que hay que sacar el colador de té (4) proporcionado del hervidor de
agua.
En la parte interior de la tapa hay un soporte en el que se puede colgar la bolsita de té (fig. C).
Deje reposar el té el tiempo necesario, que variará en función del tipo de té.
Tipos de té
A la hora de preparar el té la temperatura del agua y el tiempo de reposo son muy importantes. A
continuación se ofrece una descripción orientativa: En función del tipo de té y del gusto personal se
pueden ajustar la temperatura y el tiempo de reposo.

Función de cocción
El hervidor de agua está equipado con una función de cocción. Para activarla pulse dos veces la tecla
de temperatura correspondiente al elegir la temperatura deseada (60°, 70°, 80° o 90°C). Se iluminan la
tecla de temperatura deseada y la tecla 100°C.
Pulse la tecla Start/Stop para empezar el proceso de cocción.
La tecla Start/Stop y el anillo LED (7) del hervidor de agua también se encienden.
Una vez hervida el agua, se apaga la tecla 100°C y comienza automáticamente el proceso de
enfriamiento. La tecla Start/Stop parpadea.
Al alcanzar la temperatura deseada suena una señal automática (varias veces y en intervalos
determinados) y se apaga la iluminación de las teclas.
Indicación: Obsérvese que para enfriar el agua de 100°C a 60°C y/o 70°C puede tardar más tiempo.

Función de mantenimiento del calor
Con esta función el agua mantiene la temperatura deseada hasta 20 minutos.
La función de mantenimiento del calor se activa pulsando la tecla de
mantenimiento del calor (10). Puede activar y desactivar la función de
mantenimiento del calor en cualquier momento, también después del proceso de
calentamiento.
En cuanto el agua alcanza la temperatura deseada, suena una señal acústica
(varias veces a intervalos regulares) y la función de mantenimiento del calor
se activa automáticamente. Se iluminan las teclas de temperatura (9), la tecla
de mantenimiento del calor (10) y la tecla Start/Stop . La función se apaga
automáticamente tan pronto como el hervidor de agua se quita de la base o
cuando se superan los 20 minutos.
Indicación: La función de mantenimiento del calor no se puede activar cuando la
temperatura alcanza 100°C.
Sistema de seguridad
El termostato protege al hervidor en caso de funcionamiento accidental sin agua
y de sobrecalentamiento, ya que lo desconecta.
Antes de llenar el hervidor de agua déjelo enfriar.
Si el termostato fallara por un uso indebido, existe un limitador de temperatura
adicional que proporciona una segura protección.
Limpieza y cuidados
Desconecte el enchufe de red y deje enfriar el aparato.
No sumerja el recipiente en el agua, límpielo con un paño húmedo y algo de
detergente, enjuague y seque bien.
No utilice agentes de limpieza abrasivos o corrosivos.
Limpie el interior del hervidor de agua con agua caliente y un cepillo de cocina.
Para ello, abra la tapa presionando la tecla del asa (5) y quite el colador de té (4).
Para evitar que se formen depósitos de té, recomendamos limpiar el recipiente
de vidrio después de cada uso. Si está muy sucio o si hay cal, puede realizar un
proceso de descalcificación. (Véase el capítulo “Descalcificación”).
ATENCIÓN: Nunca limpie el hervidor de agua bajo el agua del grifo.
También puede extraer el filtro de cal (1) con la tapa abierta (2) para limpiarlo.
Para ello, presione hacia abajo la lengüeta y quite el filtro. Para colocar el filtro de
cal (1) tome la lengüeta y coloque el borde inferior del filtro en el centro del pico
vertedor. A continuación presione hacia delante (fig. B).
También puede limpiar el filtro de cal (1) y el colador de té (4) en el lavavajillas.
Descalcificación
Descalcifique el aparato regularmente utilizando un descalcificador convencional
que sea adecuado y ofrezca una buena calidad. Tenga en cuenta las
especificaciones del fabricante, particularmente en lo que respecta a la posterior
limpieza con agua clara. Los descalcificadores adecuados contienen inhibidores
que protegen los aparatos de daños en juntas y superficies, que no provocan
adherencias de otro tipo de partículas y que, además, no transmiten sabores.
No se deben utilizar otros productos inadecuados para descalcificar el aparato,
tales como sustancias basadas puramente en ácido acético o cítrico. Los daños
provocados por utilizar un descalcificador inadecuado o por no tener en cuenta
las reglas para la descalcificación no están cubiertos por la garantía. Mantenga
los niños alejados de los descalcificadores y asegúrese de no aspirar los vapores
desprendidos en la descalcificación.
Causas de averías
▪ Para evitar un vertido deteriorado o limitado:
Controle el colador y en caso necesario límpielo y/o descalcifíquelo
▪ El aparato se desconecta antes de hervir:
el suelo del recipiente tiene mucha cal o ha introducido demasiada poca agua.
▪ El aparato no se desconecta:
la tapa no está cerrada
▪ El aparato no se conecta:
aún no se ha enfriado lo suficiente tras funcionamiento con poca agua o sin
ella.
Si no desaparece el problema, lleve el aparato a reparar.
El aparato cumple con las directivas europeas 2014/35/CE, 2014/30/CE y
2009/125/CE.
Al finalizar su ciclo de vida, el producto no debe tirarse al cubo de basura
doméstico sino que debe llevarse a un punto limpio de recogida de aparatos
eléctricos y electrónicos.
Los materiales se reciclan conforme a su etiquetado. Volver a usar, reciclar o
utilizar con otro fin aparatos viejos ayuda a proteger el medio ambiente.

▪ Svuotare sempre completamente la pentola. Non lasciare a lungo acqua residua nell’apparecchio.

Messa in funzione e informazioni generali
Il bollitore è realizzato in acciaio inox e vetro WMF: resistente al calore, robusto, neutrale ai sapori e
facile da pulire.
Prima del primo utilizzo pulire a fondo l’interno del bollitore. (Si veda capitolo “Pulizia e
manutenzione”).
Nel beccuccio di versamento un filtro fa sì che durante il versamento vengano trattenute le particelle
di calcare più grandi.
La parte non necessaria del cavo di collegamento può essere avvolto al fondo della base.
Collegare il cavo di alimentazione a una presa schuko.
Versare la quantità di acqua desiderata (min. 200 ml, max. 1000 ml).
Avvertenza: se si versa troppa poca acqua, la protezione contro il funzionamento a secco
(protezione da surriscaldamento) disattiva automaticamente le resistenze. In caso di troppa acqua, può
traboccare l’acqua bollente o calda; ciò potrebbe causare gravi ustioni o lesioni.
Il coperchio (2) deve scattare in posizione in modo udibile; solo in questo modo, infatti, l’arresto
automatico (KochStopAutomatic) funziona in modo affidabile. Collocare il bollitore nella posizione
desiderata sulla base.
Non utilizzare l’acqua della prima operazione di cottura per la preparazione di generi alimentari.
Sono disponibili le seguenti funzioni:
Bollitura
1. Premere il tasto sul manico (5) per aprire il coperchio (2) e rimuovere il filtro da tè (4).
2. Riempire il bollitore con la quantità di acqua desiderata (min. 200 ml, max. 1000 ml).
3. Chiudere il coperchio (2) finché non scatta in posizione al fine di garantire il corretto

5. Premere il tasto start/stop . L’ultimo tasto della temperatura selezionato si accende (60°, 70°, 80°,
90° o 100°C). Se si desidera effettuare una modifica, premere il tasto della temperatura desiderato
(9). In alternativa si può anche accendere il bollitore premendo direttamente il tasto della
temperatura desiderata.
Avvertenza: trascorsi 10 secondi senza azionamento, il bollitore si spegne automaticamente. Le spie di
controllo si spengono e la potenza assorbita torna ad essere inferiore a 0,5 Watt.
6. Premere il tasto Start/Stop per iniziare il riscaldamento. Il tasto Start/Stop e l’anello LED (7)
del bollitore si accendono. È possibile interrompere l’operazione di bollitura in qualsiasi momento
premendo nuovamente il tasto Start/Stop .
7. Non appena l’acqua raggiunge la temperatura desiderata, viene emesso un segnale acustico (più
volte a intervalli regolari) e l’apparecchio si spegne automaticamente.
L’illuminazione del tasto e l’anello LED (7) si spengono.
Preparazione con tè sfuso
Seguire i punti 1-7 sopra descritti (si veda capitolo “Bollitura”) per riscaldare l’acqua alla temperatura
desiderata.
Riempire il filtro da tè (4) e, in fase di dosaggio, osservare le istruzioni riportate sulla confezione del tè.
Come valore indicativo considerare un cucchiaino di tè sfuso per 250 ml di acqua.
Posizionare il filtro da tè (4) nel bollitore con la scritta Cromargan® e il manico rivolti verso il
beccuccio di versamento (Fig. A).
Lasciare in infusione in base al tipo di tè. Togliere il filtro da tè dal manico. Attenzione: pericolo di
ustioni a causa della fuoriuscita di vapore e del fatto che il filtro da tè potrebbe essere caldo.
Preparazione con bustine di tè
Oltre a preparare il tè sfuso si possono anche utilizzare le tradizionali bustine di tè.
Seguire i punti 1-7 sopra descritti (si veda capitolo “Bollitura”) per riscaldare l’acqua alla temperatura
desiderata. Fare attenzione che il filtro da tè fornito (4) sia stato tolto dal bollitore.
Nella parte interna del coperchio c’è un supporto a cui si possono appendere le bustine di tè (Fig. C).
Lasciare in infusione in base al tipo di tè.
Tipi di tè
La temperatura dell’acqua e il tempo di riposo rivestono un ruolo fondamentale per la preparazione del
tè. Segue una sintesi a scopo orientativo: la temperatura e il tempo di riposo possono essere adattati in
base al tipo di tè o alle preferenze personali.

Funzione di cottura
Il bollitore è dotato di una funzione di cottura. Per attivarla, quando si seleziona la temperatura
desiderata, premere due volte il rispettivo tasto della temperatura (60°, 70°, 80° o 90°C). Il tasto della
temperatura selezionata e il tasto 100°C si accendono.
Premere il tasto Start/Stop per iniziare la cottura.
Anche il tasto Start/Stop e l’anello LED (7) del bollitore si accendono.
In seguito alla bollitura dell’acqua, il tasto 100°C si spegne e il processo di raffreddamento inizia
automaticamente. Il tasto Start/Stop lampeggia.
Quando si raggiunge la temperatura stabilita, viene emesso un segnale acustico (più volte a intervalli
regolari) e l’illuminazione del tasto si spegne.
Avvertenza: tenere presente che il raffreddamento dell’acqua da 100°C a 60°C o 70°C può necessitare
di un periodo di tempo più lungo.

Funzione di mantenimento in caldo
Questa funzione consente di mantenere l’acqua alla temperatura desiderata fino a
20 minuti dopo il suo riscaldamento.
La funzione di mantenimento in caldo viene attivata premendo il tasto di
mantenimento in caldo (10). La funzione di mantenimento in caldo può
essere attivata e disattivata in qualsiasi momento, anche dopo il processo di
riscaldamento.
Non appena l’acqua raggiunge la temperatura desiderata, viene emesso un
segnale acustico (più volte a intervalli regolari) e la funzione di mantenimento
in caldo si attiva automaticamente. Si accendono il tasto della temperatura
(9), il tasto di mantenimento in caldo (10) e il tasto Start/Stop . La funzione si
spegne automaticamente non appena il bollitore viene tolto dalla base (8) o sono
trascorsi 20 minuti.
Avvertenza: la funzione di mantenimento in caldo non può essere attivata se la
temperatura dell’acqua è intorno ai 100°C.
Sistema di sicurezza
Un termostato protegge il bollitore dal surriscaldamento in caso di accensioni
involontarie in assenza di acqua, spegnendo l’apparecchio.
Prima di versare l’acqua, è assolutamente necessario far raffreddare il bollitore.
Se in caso di uso improprio dovesse guastarsi il primo termostato, un ulteriore
limitatore di temperatura provvede ad una protezione affidabile.
Pulizia e manutenzione
Staccare la spina e far raffreddare l’apparecchio.
Non immergere l’apparecchio in acqua, bensì strofinarlo con un panno umido con
un po’ di detersivo e successivamente asciugarlo.
Non usare detergenti corrosivi e abrasivi.
Pulire la parte interna del bollitore con acqua calda e una spazzola. A tale scopo
aprire il coperchio premendo il tasto sull’impugnatura (5) ed estrarre il filtro da tè
(4).
Al fine di evitare l’accumulo di tè, consigliamo di pulire il recipiente di vetro dopo
ogni utilizzo. In caso di sporcizia o calcificazione persistente, si può effettuare la
procedura di decalcificazione. (Si veda capitolo “Decalcificazione”).
ATTENZIONE: non pulire mail il bollitore sotto l’acqua corrente.
Il filtro anticalcare (1) nel beccuccio di versamento può essere estratto per la
pulizia una volta aperto il coperchio (2). Quindi premere la linguetta verso il
basso ed estrarre il filtro. Per inserire il filtro anticalcare (1), afferrare la linguetta
e avvicinare il bordo inferiore del filtro al centro del beccuccio di versamento.
Quindi premere in avanti (Fig. B).
Il filtro anticalcare (1) e il filtro da tè (4) possono essere lavati in lavastoviglie.
Decalcificazione
Si consiglia di decalcificare regolarmente l‘apparecchio con un decalcificante
di alta qualità adatto disponibile in commercio. Rispettare le indicazioni del
produttore, in particolare anche per la successiva procedura di lavaggio con acqua
pulita. I decalcificanti adatti contengono inibitori che proteggono gli apparecchi
dai danni alle guarnizioni e alle superfici, non provocano depositi di vario genere
e inoltre sono neutrali ai sapori. Per decalcificare non devono essere utilizzati
prodotti inadatti al relativo apparecchio (ad es. sostanze a base di acido acetico
o di acido citrico puri). Per i danni provocati dall‘utilizzo di un decalcificante
inadatto o dal mancato rispetto delle indicazioni sulla decalcificazione
non sussiste diritto di garanzia. I bambini devono essere tenuti lontani dai
decalcificanti, inoltre è necessario fare attenzione a non inalare i vapori generati
durante la procedura di decalcificazione.
Cause dei guasti
▪ Se si versa male o poco:
Controllare il filtro ed eventualmente decalcificarlo/pulirlo
▪ L’apparecchio si spegne prima delle bollitura:
Il fondo della pentola presenta un deposito di calcare eccessivo, è stata versata
troppa poca acqua;
▪ L’apparecchio non si spegne:
il coperchio non è chiuso
▪ L’apparecchio non si accende:
dopo un funzionamento senza o con poca acqua, l‘apparecchio non si è ancora
sufficientemente raffreddato.
Se il guasto non dovesse essere eliminato, portare l’apparecchio a far riparare.
L’apparecchio è conforme alle direttive europee 2014/35/CE, 2014/30/CE e
2009/125/CE.
Alla fine del suo ciclo di vita non buttare il prodotto nella spazzatura domestica,
ma consegnarlo in un centro di riciclaggio di apparecchi elettrici o elettronici.
I materiali possono essere riciclati in conformità con la loro etichettatura. Grazie
al riciclaggio, al recupero e ad altre forme di recupero di vecchi apparecchi, si
riesce a contribuire in modo significativo alla protezione dell’ambiente.

Veiligheidsinstructies
▪ U mag het apparaat alleen op een correct geplaatst en geaard stopcontact aansluiten. Kabel en
stekker moeten droog zijn.
▪ Zorg ervoor dat de stroomkabel niet langs scherpen randen loopt of verklemd raakt, laat hem niet
naar beneden hangen en bescherm hem tegen hitte en olie.
▪ U mag de stekker niet aan de kabel en niet met natte handen uit het stopcontact trekken.
▪ Neem het apparaat niet in gebruik of trek direct de stekker uit het stopcontact wanneer:
⋅het apparaat of de stroomkabel is beschadigd;
⋅het apparaat lekt;
⋅na een val etc. het vermoeden bestaat dat het apparaat defect is.
In dat geval moet u het apparaat ter reparatie afgeven.
