Wohler proudly announces the DVM-4290 broadcast quality video monitor that decodes and
displays MPEG-2 and MPEG-4 transport streams with the ability to browse the MPEG PID
tables—including video and audio PIDs—for each selected stream. The DVM-4290 provides
for MPEG-2 and MPEG-4 decoding via DVB-ASI streams through BNC input and IPTV through
Gigabit Ethernet input. It features dual high resolution 9” LCD anti-glare TFT monitors, and
fully digital processing to support 3G/HD/SD-SDI, MPEG-2, MPEG-4, and unencrypted HDMI
standards. All video formats are scaled to fit on screen in the highest quality using precision
scaling and gamma correction to produce the best image possible.
In addition to MPEG ASI and dual input SDI with loop-thru, the DVM-4290 will also
accommodate HDMI and IPTV sources and includes audio level meters, GPI and tally. Each
monitor is capable of displaying in-picture level metering, video waveform, and vectorscope
display with classic CRT-style image calibration controls.
