If you hear feedback (whistling or
shrill sounds), try a different dome.
If you can’t find a dome that fits or you
want to order replacement domes,
call (844)-913-3046, or visit
wonder-ear.com/reorder.
Install the Ear Dome
The ear dome covers the wax guard
and makes the hearing aid fit in your
ear. To install it:
1. Line up the hole on the dome with
the wax guard.
2.Push it firmly over the ridges.
3.Ensure it is securely aached.

5. Close the baery compartment
door. This turns on your WonderMax.

Notes:

• Store new baeries in original
packaging, with the tab on.
• Do not use expired or unsealed
baeries.
• Do not leave a dead baery in your
device.
LOW BATTERY WARNING: A fast,
continuous beeping means your hearing
aid baeries are low. Remove your
hearing aids and replace the baeries.
12

Place the WonderMax
in Your Ear
The right hearing aid is labeled with
an R. The le hearing aid is labeled
with an L. Ensure you insert the
correct hearing aid into your ear. If
this is your first time using the
WonderMax, it is helpful to use a
mirror to practice.
13

1. Ensure the baery door is closed.
2. Hold your WonderMax from the
removal thread on the boom of the
device, with the dome pointed up.
Use your thumb and forefinger.
3. Gently insert the dome end of the
device into your clean ear canal.
4.Soly press it into place, using your
finger.
5. Adjust it as needed.
6. To remove, hold and gently pull the
removal thread.
Notes:
• You may need to pull gently down
and back on your earlobe to make
insertion easier.
• Be gentle with your WonderMax,
and don’t pull or bend the removal
thread.
• Always clean your ears before using
your hearing aids.
14

Choose a Program
Your WonderMax uses Digital Signal
Processing (DSP) technology to reduce
acoustic feedback in noisy situations. It
comes with handy preset programs to
help you hear in different situations. To
choose a preset program:
1. Press and hold the volume buon
to toggle through the following preset
programs:
15

Program 1: Normal environments.
Program 2: Quiet environments.
Program 3: Noisy or outdoor
environments.
Note: You’ll know what program you
chose by the number of beeps you hear.
Program 1 (normal environments) –
You hear one beep.
Program 2 (quiet environments)
– You hear two beeps.
Program 3 (noisy or outdoor
environments) – You hear three beeps.
Stop pressing the volume buon when
you reach your desired program.
16

Adjust the Volume
To have optimal control over the volume
and reduce feedback, adjust the
volume while the WonderMax is in your
ear. At first, you can have someone else
help you adjust the volume. Although
adjusting it while in the ear is best, you
can also change it before you put it in
your ear.
The WonderMax remembers your last
volume seing, so you don’t have to set
it the next time.
17

1. Quickly press the volume buon
to increase the volume. You should
hear one beep.
2. Continue to press the volume
buon quickly until you find a
satisfactory volume. The WonderMax
beeps every time you increase the
volume.
Note: When you reach the maximum
volume, you will hear two quick
beeps. Pressing the buon again
returns the seing to the minimum
volume.
3. Adjust the volume on both your
right and le hearing aids.
4. It can be helpful to adjust your
WonderMax while you have a radio
or television on at a low volume.
18

Anything new takes some geing
used to. To ease the process, we
recommend following this
four-week plan:
Begin wearing your new
hearing aid(s) for 1–2
hours per day. You can
wear them while you are at
home watching TV, doing
chores, or conversing with
others. You might not
notice much of a difference
during week 1, but progress
is happening.
