Maintenance and Disposal Notes
Faults and Troubleshooting
How to insert potted plants
Never plant directly into a planter set. Use 11-13cm diameter
x l0cm(H) or 1L potted plants. This will avoid blocking the inbuilt
water filters. If a water filter is blocked, plants will perish.
How to care for plants during winter
To protect plants that are susceptible to frost (less hardy), we
recommend covering plants with a ‘garden fleece’. Using a
garden fleece can help provide protection in several ways: frost,
wind, and adverse weather conditions such as hail, rain, heavy
winds etc. A garden fleece raises temperatures and humidity
under the cover, and provides protection from birds and insects.
Cleaning and maintenance
Clean every six months to avoid blockages.
1. Remove plants, remove debris (leaves/soil) from each
planter set by hand.
2. Wipe planter sets with a damp cloth (water).
3. Flush the system using a watering can or hose.
4. Replace plants.
