1.3ObtainIPaddress
Thegatewayhastwoports:WANandLAN,bothofthemhasbeensettothedefaultDHCPmode.User
canconfigure the gatewaythroughthe WANIPandLANIPaccordingthenetworktheyusing.
IfyournetworksupportstheDHCPtodistributeIPaddress automatically,afterconnecting the
gateway,you willseethe indicatorlightoftheWAN portison andstop glittering,itmeansyouget
theIPaddressalready,you canbesetupquicklyaccording tothefollowingoperation:after
connecting EthernetcabletoWANport,connectPSTNphonetoFXSport,press #*111#,youcould
hearIPaddress ofgatewayWANport,inputtheWANIPaddress onthebrowser,youcanconfigure
thegateway.(Toknowmoredetails, please see the advancedmanual)
Ifyournetworkdoesn tsupporttheDHCPtodistributeIPaddress automatically,youshould
configurethestaticIPinWANport,thedefaultIPaddress ofgatewayis192.168.10.1,ifitisnot
defaultIPaddress,you canconnectPCtoLANport,andsettheIPmodetodynamic,theninput
“inpconfig/all”incommandlineandsee thatthedefaultIPaddress ofgatewayistheIPforLAN
port. The stepsare thefollowing:

TheNetworksection showsthegatewaycurrentWAN,LANconfiguration,including gainingwayof
WANIPandIP(Staticstate, DHCP,PPPoE),MACaddress,gatewayWANIPaddress,LANIPaddress,
openingstateofLANDHCPserver.
TheVOIPsectionshowsthecurrentdefaultinusesignalprotocol,serverparameterinuseofeach
protocol: SIPregisterSIPserverIP,proxyserverIP,whetherencablesregister,whetherencablesregister
server,whetherencablesoutboundproxy,whetherencablesSTUN server.

Besides,userneedtochangetheversioncodeoftheconfigurationfilestoavoidceaselessrebootafter
update.Ifuserwanttoupdatefirmware, thentheupdatefilenameshouldbeinformof
000000000000.img,insteadof.dlfor.z postfix.Forupdating configfiles,usershouldnameall files
aftertheMACaddress. Butnotthecaseofupdatingfirmware.
6．Connectthe updatingdevice inLANportofDHCPServer, thenthedevice willdownloadconfiguration
filesorfirmwarefromTFTPaftergettingIPaddress.Itistruethatusercandownloadthefilestothe
devicesthatisconnectingwithLAN portatthesametime. Thedevice quantityisdependentonthe
defaultDHCPleasetable. IfallIPaddress withinDHCPleasetablehave beenused,usercanrebootthe
DHCPservertocleartheleasetablesothatthedevicecangetsomenewIPaddrtobeupdated.
Otherwise, thefollowingdevicecannotgetIPaddress anymoreduethedefault leasetimelastsfor1
day.
Note:Make sure TFTPserverisenable and userneedtorebootthe DHCPservertodeleteDHCPlease
table. Sinceinthisrebootingprocess,the gateway will checkTFTPserver.
