on.

5.Usecurrenttransformers(CTs)withbuilt-inTVS(=transientvoltagesuppressor)withadielectricstrengthof
3.5KV50Hz1minminimumandanoperangvoltageof660V.Donotusecurrentoutputcurrenttransformers(rao)suchas1
ampor5ampcurrenttransformers:theymayirreversiblydamagetheSmartChargeController.
6.Ensurethatcurrenttransformersareplacedbehindfusesorcircuitbreakers.
7.EquipmentmustbedisconnectedfromDANGEROUSvoltagesbeforetheyaremanipulated.Donotcarryoutany
workonthedevicewhenitisslllive.
8.Ifafaultordefectisdetected,thedevicemustbeswitchedoimmediately.Todothis,rstswitchothemainspower
andthencontactshouldbemadewiththesupplier.
8.Beforeswitchingonthepower,checkthatallwiresaresecurelyfastenedbypullingoneachwire.
9.DonotinstalltheSmartChargeControllerinalocaonwhereitmaybeexposedtotemperaturesbelow-10°Cor
exceeds55°C,excessivemoisture,dust,saltsprayorothercontaminants.Thedevicerequiresanenvironmentwithapolluon
degree(PD)noworsethan2(normallyonlynon-conducvepolluon;occasionallyatemporaryconducvitycausedby
condensaonshouldbeexpected).
10.Donotdrillanymounngholesinthedevice.Instead,snapthemoduleontoaDINrail.
11.IftheSmartChargeControllerisnotinstalledcorrectly,thesafetyfeaturesmaybecompromised.
2.3 Storage and transport
AlwayskeeptheSmartChargeControllerinitsoriginalpackagingunlinstallaon.
TheSmartChargeControllershouldbestoredsafelyinadry,venlatedarea,notexposedtodirectsunlight.Thepackagingisnot
weatherproof.
TheSmartChargeControllershouldbestoredatatemperaturebetween-20°Cand80°C.
MakesurethatthepackagedSmartChargeControllerisexposedtominimalvibraonduringtransport.Transport/movethe
packagingcarefully.
Payaenontoergonomiccondionssuchasliing,bending,reaching,etc.whileworkingonthedevice.

TheSmartChargeControllerisanelectronicdevicethatisusedincombinaonwithanEVchargingstaon.
ThedevicemeasuresthemainscurrentandregulatesthechargingcurrentoftheEVchargingstaonbasedontheDynamicLoad
Balancingfunconofthechargingstaonandachosenchargingmode.
AnyEVchargingstaonthatsupportsDynamicLoadBalancingbasedonaModbusRTUorModbusTCP/IPcurrentmetercanbe
controlledifthecorrectconguraonisinstalledontheSmartChargeController.
TheSmartChargeControllercanbeusedforbothsingle-phaseandmulphaseinstallaons.
Amaximumof3currenttransformerscanbeconnectedtotheSmartChargeControllertomeasurethemainscurrent.
Oponally,theP1outputofaconnectedsmartmetercanbeusedtomeasurethegridcurrent.
Wi-Fiisavailabletocommissionthedeviceandtoenablermwareupdateswhenconnectedtotheinternetviathehomerouter.
Thedeviceispoweredfromthemains.
Theuserselectsthechargingmodeviatheuserinterface,whichconsistsofanOLEDdisplayand3buons.

Theinstallaon,operaonandmaintenanceofthisdevicemustbecarriedoutbyaqualiedpersoninaccordance
withtheapplicablelocalstandardsandsafetyregulaons.
PLEASE NOTE!Neveropenthesecondarycircuitofacurrenttransformerwhilecurrentisowingthroughthe
primarycircuit!Ifthesecondarycircuitisopenedwhentheprimarycurrentisowing,thevoltagewillgotoavery
highvalue,whichmaycauseelectricsparksand/orelectricshockstomaintenancepersonnel.
Therefore,CTswithinternalTVSmustbeused.
Ifthe"SafetyandInstallaonGuidelines"arenotfollowed,thewarrantywillnolongerapply.
