Introduction
Sparkle is a mop that deep cleans your table tops and flat surfaces. Sparkle
removes greasy stains and food particles without damaging beautiful surfaces.
Use the appliance to cleanse and carry off hardened food. It can also help to
remove chewing gum, grease, mildew, soap scum, dirt and grime from all areas.

Important Safety Instructions
Please read these instructions carefully before using the appliance and
save them for future reference.
1. DO NOT leave the appliance connected to an electrical outlet when not in use.
2. DO NOT operate this appliance if the cord or plug has been damaged or after
the appliance has malfunctioned in any manner.
3. Never disconnect the cord by pulling it from the electrical socket.
4. DO NOT pull or carry by the cord or use the cord as a handle.
5. DO NOT allow the cord to make contact with hot surfaces.
6. DO NOT immerse the cord, plug or main unit into water or other liquids.
7. DO NOT handle the plug or steam cleaner with wet hands.
8. Use only as described in this manual. Use only the manufacturer’s recommen-
ded accessories.
9. DO NOT treat it as a toy. Close supervision is necessary when used near or by
children.
10. Never direct steam towards people, animals or plants.
11. Fill the tank with pure, cold tap water, if you live in a hard water area use
distilled water to prevent lime scale build-up and prolong the life of the appliance.
12. Never put products containing perfumes, chemicals, alcohol or detergent into
the appliance, this will cause damage, make it unsafe and invalidate your
warranty.
13. DO NOT use the appliance in an enclosed space filled with vapours given off
by oil based paint, paint thinner, some flammable dust or other explosive.
14. DO NOT touch the hot surface or steam. There is a danger of scalding.
15. DO NOT block the appliance’s openings.
16. Steam must not be directed towards equipment containing electrical
components.
17. DO NOT use steam on wax polished floors or other delicate, steam sensitive
materials.
18. Allow all the steam to escape before unplugging from the electrical socket.
19. Unplug the appliance from the electrical socket before refilling the water tank,
adding or
removing components or cleaning.
20. Allow the appliance to cool down completely before storing.
21. Store indoors. DO NOT expose the appliance to rain or a damp atmosphere.
22. This unit is for household use only.
The manufacturer accepts no liability for damage caused to objects,
materials, persons or animals due to the inappropriate use of steam or
through non-complaince with the advice and recommendations shown
in the instruction manual.

Operation
TIPS: Never put anything in the water tank except distilled or cold tap water.
Cleaning detergents or any other spirit-based liquid may be dangerous, could
damage the appliance and will invalidate the warranty.
Use distilled water in hard water areas to prevent lime scale building up and
prolong the life of an appliance.
Always unplug the appliance from the electrical socket before filling. Never
attempt to fill the unit under a water tap, always use the beaker.
How to use a SPARKLE?
Filling the Water Tank
For your convenience the Sparkle handy mop has a unique pumping system
that produces steam in three ways:
1. By pressing the steam trigger.
2. Vertical movement of the base plate.
3. Horizontal movement of the base plate.
Steps are as follows:
1. Select the required cleaning pad and attach it to the base plate.
2. Plug the unit into an electrical socket. The Power Indicator LED will now
illuminate.
3. Allow approximately 30-60 seconds for the unit to reach its operating
temperature.
Always unplug the appliance from the electrical socket before adding or removing
the cleaning pad.

4. The handy mop is now ready to use.
Note: On initial use some water will come out of the steam exit nozzle. This
is normal.
5. To produce steam, press the Steam Trigger. Initially this may require 6-10 rapid
presses before steam exists the nozzle.
6. Once steam is produced, it will continue with the natural vertical or horizontal
movement of the Sparkle handy mop, this is achieved by applying light pressure
to the surface and maintaining constant movement. If more steam is required the
steam trigger can be pressed at any time, by pressing intermittently you will note
a rhythm for maintaining a continuous flow of steam without any water leaking.
7. The Sparkle handy mop can be used without the cleaning pad to sanitize pillows
, mattresses or, to remove wrinkles from fabrics.
Note: Only use by pressing the Steam Trigger when the pad is not in place.
8. When you have finished using your steam cleaner, stop pressing the trigger
and allow all the steam to escape before removing it from the electrical socket.
1. Varnished wood or glossy leather can be bleached by the effects of steam.
2. Shiny plastic materials and wax-treated floors can become tarnished by steam.
3. Materials such as acrylic, velvet and linen are very sensitive to the temperature
of steam.
4. DO NOT use on unsealed wood floors or let unit stand on any wood or poly
laminated floor for an intended time without first carrying out a suitability test on
an unobtrusive area.
5.The manufacturer is not be liable for any damage caused to the object, materials,
persons or animals resulting from the inappropriate use of steam.

Helpful Tips
1. When using horizontally, return the unit to the upright position to maintain the
flow of water.
2. For vertical surfaces always wipe from the top down to avoid soiling areas
already cleaned.
3. To sanitize and reduce dust mites on pillows
4. Use a damp sponge or cloth to clean the appliance.
5. Do not immerse the unit in water.
6. Periodically rinse the reservoir to free it from deposits, fill it with clean water,
shake vigorously and drain before storing.
7. The cleaning pads can be washed manually or in a washing machine.
8. Store indoors in a cool dry area.
Cleaning & Maintenance
1. The unit must be turned off and unplugged from the electrical socket before
attempting any cleaning or maintenance.
2. Let the appliance cool down completely.
3. Empty all water from the reservoir after each use.
4. Use a damp sponge or cloth to clean the appliance.
5. Do not immerse the unit in water.
6. Periodically rinse the reservoir to free it from deposits, fill it with clean water,
shake vigorously and drain before storing.
7. The cleaning pads can be washed manually or in a washing machine.
8. Store indoors in a cool dry area.
