XTAR D02Amphibious LED Flashlight Manual
Brief Introductions:
XTAR D02 amphibious LED flashlight creatively designed with compact but high
luminance output. Electrodeless magnetic switch enable diver a simple easy
underwater operation. It also combined a good heat dissipating 6061 aircraft
aluminum head and excellent waterproof POM body, enabled the item a deep diving
and amphibious multipurpose LED flashlight.

Usage:
1. Insert 3 x AAA battery, follow the instructions, and attach body.
2. Vertical electrodeless magnetic control switch, up and down push realizes the
changes of the mode and switch.
3. When longtime vacancy, exhaustion of battery, or flashlight is not in use;
removing the battery from the unit recommended.
4. When installing battery, carefully notice the direction of positive and negative
poles. Damage could result to the circuit board due to incorrect battery
installation
5. Remarks for diving:
6. Do not disassemble, if disassembly is required. Please use professional tools to
reassemble to ensure the units diving ability.
7. Thoroughly check O-rings before every diving, please change a new one if

O-rings torn or breakage found. Make sure the two O-rings are in perfect
conditions and completely screwed before diving.
8. Thoroughly clean the light and switch and air dry before re-using.
Notice：Do not radiate or direct light towards eyes, serious injury or blindness could
occur from misuse.
Maintenance:
1. Use quality battery, XTAR PCB Li-ion battery recommended.Avoid using new
and used batteries together.
2. Replace O-ring when diminished or worn. Lubricate O-ring regularly to maintain
water resistance and keep unit sealed.
3. Clean contacts regularly.
4. Follow the instructions when installing switch in case of opposite polarity.
5. Do not expose the switch to 80°C or above, high-intensity magnetic fields high
frequency vibration etc. environment in case loss of excitation.
Possible reasons for malfunction of unit:

or tail cap switch.

reassemble the switch.
If unit still fails to operate, please contact your dealer or service center where unit was
purchased for warranty service.
How to lengthen flashlight’s service life:
1. Flashlight’s LED and body will be poor contacted because of circuit’s oxidation
and friction during daily use. We suggest clean thoroughly the contactor and
lubricate the thread once a month.
2. The head of the light is not anodized processed, in order to reduce the circuit’s
loss, we don’t suggest to open light’s head unless you have to do cleaning and
maintaining.
