Chapter 1 System Introduction
1. 1 Key Features
Supports many kinds of IPTV and OTTTV programmes.
Supports FHD H.265, VC-1, H.264, MPEG-2 and many other formats such as MPEG-1

MPEG-2,MPEG-4,DIVX,REALMEDIA and so on.
Video formats include hevc,avi,mpg,vob,rmvb,mkv,m2ts,ts and so on.
Photo formats include JPEG,BMP and PNG up to 80M pixels.
Audio formats include MP3,WMA,WAV,AC3,AAC and so on.
Support SD/SDHC/MMC cards.

Chapter 2 Remote Controller
MUTE:Press to turn down the volume.
SETUP:Fast key to go to system setup.
POWER:Press to standby.
APP:Fast key to go to android application.
MENU:Press to choose function menu of corresponding
application in video,music,photo and website.
Navigation:Press to navigate left/right/up/down.
Press OK to confirm your choice.
Number keypad 0-9:Press to input Arabic number.
RETURN:Press to return back to previous menu.
HOME:Fast key to go back to main menu.
VOL:Press to increase/decrease the volume.
CURSOR:Press to use the navigation button as cursor.
Backspace:Press to backspace the input.

a. Connect the supplied AV cable to the AV input on your TV using the colored connections as a guide
(RED/WHITE/YELLOW)
b. Power on your TV and choose the respective AV input channel
a. Connect the supplied HDMI cable into the rear HDMI port at the back of the XUUM box
b. Power on your TV and select the respective HDMI input channel

3.3 Initial Setup
Step 1 - At the welcome screen choose Next
Step 3 - Choose the method of connection to your network router, either by Wifi or ethernet.
For Wifi, select and choose your network name and then highlight the password box
and press ‘ok’ on your remote to reveal the virtual keyboard. Once you have finished
using the virtual keyboard, press the ‘return’ button on your remote.
Once connected, press FINISH
Step 2- Fit the display output by pressing the up and down direction buttons on your remote
until you see the white border appear around the edge of your TV set

The Social Icon contains the most popular social media apps such as Facebook and Pintrest

The Video Icon contains popular video platforms such as Youtube and Vimeo

The Settings Icon is where all setting for the box are configured.

Pressing the Settings Icon brings up the main device settings window.
The NETWORK tab gives you control over Ethernet and Wifi connections
The DISPLAY tab allows you to change the output resolution and is set to auto detect by default.
You can also change the display position as carried out in the initial setup (chapter 3.3)
The ADVANCED tab gives control over Miracast and the sound output

Selecting MIRACAST will take you into the MIRACAST options. Here you can connect your
MIRACAST enabled device for communication with the box.
Selecting DIGITAL AUDIO AUTO DETECTION will detect what output you have for audio
Deselecting it will give you the option to maually choose your digital audio output

4.4 All Apps
This section gives you access to all your installed Android apps. All Android apps that you
download and install will appear in this section
Selecting the OTHER tab and MORE SETTINGS takes you to the second level of Android settings where you can view
further settings for Wifi, Ethernet, Apps, Storage, Sound, Language, Keyboard, Date and
Time and accessibility

4.5 Music
Clicking Kodi for the first time presents you with the option to INSTALL KODI. This process will install
a number of add-ons to get you started. All add-ons to be used entirely at your own discretion. XUUM
cannot be held responsible for any of the content that may be contained in any Kodi Add-on.
4.6 Kodi Media Player
This section contains music add-ons such as Spotify, podcasts, digital radio and audio books
Kodi is a media playing app that contains add-ons created by a large online community of developers.

Choose AUTOMATIC FULL from the drop down list and then select OK.
Once INSTALL KODI is selected, follow the instructions for setting the orientation. This is needed to
instruct certain apps that the device they are being used on is similar to a tablet.
Click YES on the next screen and you will see the config being installed. It will reach 100% and then
automatically close Kodi and take you to the XUUM homescreen.

4.7 Shortcuts
The shortcuts at the bottom of the homepage contain the main subscription 'On Demand' apps
such as HBO Go, Netflix and HULU. You can add more apps by clicking the + sign.
4.8 Using OTA Updater
Within ALL APPS is an app called OTA UPDATER. This is used to update the firmware on your box
when we release them.
Open up OTA UPDATER, then scroll right to the ROM tab.

The ROM tab will show you the current version of ROM installed (ROM means firmware) and it also
shows you the available updates. Clicking on AVAILABLE UPDATES will check our servers for the latest
updates and then allow you to install if available.

Chapter 5 Playback of Media
5.1 When watching a video in YouTube or within Kodi you can bring up the on screen display
(OSD) by pressing the SELECT button on your remote. Along the bottom of the screen are options
to pause, stop, rewind and fast forward.
5.2 The OSD video option will allow you to change certain aspects of the playback whilst you are watching
a video
5.3 The Audio option allows you to change the volume, subtitles and other parameters whilst watching
a video

Under no circumstances should you try to repair the TV Box by yourself, as this will invalidate
the warranty. Do not open the TV Box as there is a risk of electric shock. If a fault occurs, first
check with points listed below before taking the TV Box for repair. If you are unable to remedy
a problem by following hints, consult your dealer for help.
Problem Solution
No power
-Check if the power adaptor is properly connected to the power
and the TV Box.
-Press the power on the remote controller to turn on the power.
No picture -Reconnect with HDMI cable or AV cable.
-Check if the TV is switched on.
No sound or distorted
sound
-Adjust the volume.
-Check that the speakers are connected correctly.
No audio or digital
output
-Check the digital connections.
-Check if your amplifier is set correctly.
The box does not respond
to the Remote Control
-Aim the remote control directly at the sensor on the front
of the TV Box.
-Reduce the distance to the TV Box.
-Replace the batteries in the remote control.
Player does not respond to
some operating commands
during playback
-Operations may not be permitted.Refer to the user manual.
-Possibility of system halted,re-insert with power adaptor
to restart.
No sound during movies
playback
-The audio codec may not be supported by the TV Box.You
can change to the supported audio on playing menu.
-Check the volume.
The contents of the USB
flash drive cannot be read
-The USB flash drive format is not compatible with the box.
-If one of the USB can not be read, please turn off the TV
Box for 30seconds and restart the TV Box.
Slow operation of the
USB flash drive
-Big file size or high resolution USB flash drive takes
longer time to read and display on the TV screen.
No sound with HDMI
connection
-Check the connection between the TV and the HDMI
jack of box.
-Check your TV system setup.
-Check the volume.
The TV screen is blank
and the player LED is
blinking
-Turn off your TV Box, wait 30 seconds, turn it on again.
-If under HDMI status, check if HDMI connection is cor-
-rect or change another HDMI cable set the output
resolution of this TV Box into 720p.
