Installation Guide
Before installing the Yale SlotVent please prepare the
sash or frame as per the specified routing detail.
1. Prepare the sash or frame as per the specified
routing detail.
2. Offer the inner flap to the internal slot.
3. Push the inner flap into the profile.
4. Open the inner flap to reveal the screw holes.
5. Fix the clips to the profile using screws. Yale
recommends using Countersunk 25x4.3mm or
25x3.8mm Gimlet Point Screws
6. Repeat steps 25 for the external hood.
7. Once fixed, close the inner and outer components
to hide the fixings.
8. Hint: A bead of silicon can be used on the external
hood to improve water ingress performance.

Maintenance
Yale recommends the SlotVent is wiped clean at 6-month intervals using a damp cloth. The
external hood should be brushed lightly to remove dust and debris.
