This manual describes the safety precautions for using the power supply adapter for CW500
and the power supply adapter specifications.
The following three manuals, including this one, are provided as manuals for the 98031.

Safety Precautions
The notes and cautions in this manual are categorized using the following symbols.

WARNING
• This instrument is the power supply adapter for CW500. Do not use this
instrument for anything other than as power supply adapter for CW500.
• Do not connect to the object in which the electrical potential exceeds AC240V.
• Connect the Adapter to CW500 first, and then connect to the line under test.
• Use Voltage probe dedicated for CW500.
• Never disconnect the adapter during a measurement while it is energized.
• Remove all the cords connected to the adapter before replacing a fuse.
• Use a fuse with a proper rating.
• Power off the adapter before connecting to CW500.

Connect the Adapter according to following

Confirm that the Adapter is off.

Connect the Plug of the Adapter to VN and
V1 terminals on CW500 and Power
Plug to
the Power connector respectively.

Connect the Voltage probes to VN and V1
terminals of the Adapter.

Connect the Alligator clips of the Voltage
probes to the circuit under test.

Power on the Adapter.

Power on CW500.
* Reversed procedure is applied to remove the
Adapter from CW500.
Fuse Replacement

Confirm that the Adapter is off.

Remove all cords from the Adapter.

Loosen the screws at the backside of the
instrument, and remove the Fuse Cover.

Remove the fuse.
5
Install a new fuse to the Fuse holder.
6
Tighten the screws and fix the cover.

本機器には、以下のマニュアルが添付されています。大切に保管してください。

本機器を安全にご使用いただくために
・ 本機器には、安全にご使用いただくために次のようなシンボルマークを使用してい
ます。
本機器で使用しているシンボルマークで、人体および機器に危険があるこ
とを示すとともに、ユーザーズマニュアルを参照する必要があることを示
します。ユーザーズマニュアルでは、目印として、「警告」「注意」の用語
と一緒に使用しています。

警 告
火災や感電を防ぐため、以下の事項をお守りください。
・ 本機器は CW500 専用の電源供給アダプタです。CW500 以外には、使用しない
でください。
・ 本機器を AC240V 以上の電位のある場所には絶対に接続しないでください。
・ 本機器を CW500 に接続していない状態で測定ラインに接続しないでください。
・ 電 圧 プローブは CW500 に付属の専用コードを使用してください。
・ 測定中（測定ラインからの通電中）は絶対に本機器を CW500 から取りはずさ
ないでください。
・ ヒューズの交換は、本機器へ接続している配線を全てはずしてから行ってくだ
さい。
・ 定格以外のヒューズを使用しないでください。
・ CW500 に接続するときは、本機器の電源スイッチが OFF になっていることを
確認ください。
・ 外観に異常が認められる場合は、本機器を使用しないでください。
接続手順
以下の手順で本機器を接続します。

子に、電源プラグをCW500 の電源コネ
クタに差し込みます。

本機器の VN と V1 端子へそれぞれ電圧
プローブを接続します。

電圧プローブのワニ口を被測定回路に接
続します。

本機器の電源スイッチを ON にします。

CW500 の電源スイッチを ON にします。
※本機器をはずす場合は、接続方法と逆の
手順になります。
ヒューズの交換方法

電源スイッチが OFF になっていることを確認します。

本機器の配線を全て外してください。

本機器裏側のネジを緩めてヒューズカバーをはずします。

ヒューズを取りはずします。
5
新しいヒューズをヒューズホルダーにセットします。
6
ヒューズカバーを取り付けて、ネジを締めます。
