Connect
There are connecting-links, connecting-buttons in the cylinder case.
Connecting-links and buttons are useful when users need to
securely connect solar panels to hang on a backpack.
Additional guidelines
-Please select a device according to the table below. This
maximizes solar charge efficiency. Other device configurations
may result in risk or damage to the Solar Paper.
- Direct sunlight is more efficient than sun through a window.
- Once your device has been charged over 90%, Solar Paper will
auto reset to slow down generating power. Strong sunlight won’t
affect the charging process, but weak sunlight will result in
frequent auto reset. For the sake of efficiency, we recommend
stop charging or charge a spare battery instead.

The manufacturer is not resposible for any damageor risk resulting
from improper use of Solar Paper. Additionally, any damage caused by
failing to follow the guidelines below will not be covered by the
warranty.
1. Keep Solar Paper out of children’s reach to preventany potential
safety hazards, accidents and/or damages.
2. The panels have passed the IP54 waterproof test, but the controller
part may corrode if repeatedly exposed to water. This could
potentially damage the product,so make sure that the controller is kept
dry at all times. Avoidusage in rain or snowy conditions. Drythoroughly
after exposure to water or humid conditions.
3. Dust and foreign substance can cause devicemalfunction. Prevent
these from entering the USB port.
4. Direct exposure to sunlight can damage electronic devices and can
hinder the charging process. Ensure that devices you wish to charge
are not exposed to sunlight while charging for best charging results
and for the safety of devices.
5. Do not connect more than 6 solar panels (15W) atone time.
6. Warrentied temperature is 60° for solar panels and 80° for PCB.
Using or storing Solar Paper in a heated vehicle in summer could
cause product malfunction.
7. Solar Paper is built to survive a shock from dropping, but dropping
the product on a frequent basis could impede efficiency or cause
damage. Beware that bending, applying strong force or placing heavy
weights on top of the product could cause malfunction.
8. Do not spray water or wipe the product with chemicals such as
benzol and/or paint thinner. It could cause fire, electrict shock, and
corruption of the surface.
9. If you detecta strangesmell, noise, smoke, or foreign susbstance
while using Solar Paper, stop using it immediately, disconnect all
connected parts, and contact us.
10. Do not scratch thesurface of solar panels.
11. The corner part of the panel has a hole in it and is relatively weak/
fragile, so do not apply pressure/strong force to it.
12. Do not touch the magnetict terminals with non-insulated metal.
It could damage the product or impede the charging process.
13. Disconnect your deviceafter it has been fully charged.
14. Solar Paper does not generate power with the non-sunlightsuch as
fluorescent, LED, incandescent lamp.
15. When using the Solar Paper during the summer or in hot environment,
solar panels could become veryhot. Use with caution and keep away
from sensitive skin parts such as face.

Magnets
- Make sure the edges of each solar panel are not overlapping.
If they are, simply rotate the solar panels 180 degrees and connect.
Having panels connected in the wrong way will not cause electric
shock or breakage. If not connected properly, however, the solar
power generated on each panel will not be able to transfer across
to a device you wish to charge. Seperate and reconnect the solar
panels if necessary.
- Solar panels can be connected together using built in magnets.
It means that users can freely add or subtract solar panels
depending on power requirement(Max 6 solar panels).
- Clear away any metal or foreign substances from the gold
plated teminals before charging
- The solar panel can be connected in any desired directions.
- Simply slide panels to separate.
Usage
Solar Paper is a portable solar charger for mobile electronics that can
be charged via USB cable such as a smartphone, MP3 player,
tablet PC, and external battery.
How to use
- Connects solar panels together using built in magnets, with the
golden grid facing the sun.
- Placesolar panels perpendicular and face to the sun to achieve
the bestcharging results.
- If Solar Paper is connected to a smartphone when attached on
a backpack or when used on cloud day, it can cause unnecessary
auto reset. In these conditions, connecting Solar Paper to power
bank is highly recommended.

to keep it cool.

USB Port
Solar Paper has two USB ports. Using a USB cable, connect Solar Paper
to a device you wish to charge.
- For Apple device, connect a device to <port A>
- For non-Apple device, connect a device to <port NA>
- Charging two devices simultaneously using the two USB ports is
recommendedonly when Solar Paper generates more than 1.5A.
- When charging two Apple or two non-Apple devices simultaneously
connect a device with a larger battery to the matching USB port.
Auto Reset
When the panels cannot generate sufficient power due to
temporary conditions such as cloud or shade, Solar Paper will
auto reset for more efficient andstable charging. Auto Reset
occurs in real timeand once sunlight returns, charging will restart
almost immediately or within three minutes.
LCD screen
- The actual voltage will appear on the LCD screen when the solar
panel is exposed to the sun.In the rage of 5.4V-6V is considered
weak, 6.01V-6.4V is considered normal and over 6.41V is considered
strong sun condition for solar charging.
-Users can find ideal direction and angleof solar panel since the
voltage changes in real-time. Higher voltage means better angle
and direction of the solar panel.
- Once the device is connected to Solar Paper andcharging begins,
voltage(V) on LCD screen will be changed to ampere(A) value
of load current which indicates in real-time the actual electrical charge.
- For the first minute after connecting or when the panels are
generating less power than it can, the charger may continue to turn
itself on and off. This indicates that while the device is being charged,
Solar Paper is in process of finding the right current valueto generate
optimal current. In mostcases,Solar Paper will stabilize itself within
a few minutes.
- The LCD screen will automatically turn off a minute after the
initial connection. When there is a change in current value, the
screen will be turned on for another minute.

- When there is insufficient lightdue to bad weather, shadow and etc.
-When exposed to high temperature due to LCD’s characteristic
makes itblack temporarily. As the temperature drops, LCD screen
will operate normally again.
