When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions
should always be followed.

•The appliance is for household use. Do not use outdoors.
•Always keep the appliance and its plug out of reach of
children aged less than 8 years.
•This appliance is not intended for use by persons with
reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack
of experience and knowledge, unless they have been
given supervision or instruction concerning use of the
appliance by a person responsible for their safety.
•Close supervision is necessary when any appliance is used
near children.
•Before plugging in the appliance for the first time ensure
the voltage is compatible with your electricity supply by
checking the label on the base of the appliance.
•Do not let the cord hang over the edge of the table or
counter or touch hot surfaces.
•Do not operate with a damaged cord or plug or if the
further instructions regarding examination or repair.
•A short power-supply cord is provided to reduce the risks
resulting from becoming entangled or tripping. If you
need an extension cord, make sure it is a grounded cord
with a rating of at least 13 amperes.
•Always use on a flat, heat-resistant surface.
•To protect against fire, electric shock and injury to persons
do not immerse cord, plugs or other parts of the
appliance in water or other liquid.
•Hot water can cause serious burns. Extreme caution must
be used when the appliance contains hot water.
•Do not place on or near a hot gas or electric burner or in
a heated oven.
•Do not move the appliance when in use.
•Always place the warming cones, bottles or food jar into
the reservoir before adding the water.
•Ensure water has been added to the appliance before
switching on.
