Recommended Torque Values for Yoto Leopard E-Bike

◆Handlebar Installation (Requires a 4mm Hex Wrench)
7
Assembly Instructions
Step 1: Gently loosen the bolts on your bike's stem.
Step 3: Partially tighten the bolts on the handlebar stem, leaving enough slack for adjustments. Fine-tune the angle and check the positioning by testing it out.
Once satisfied with the handlebar's angle, securely tighten all bolts on the stem.
Step 2: Align your handlebars to the central marking as indicated in the image provided below.
IMPORTANT NOTICE:
While adjusting the angle, you may also modify the
handlebar height by adding or removing headset
spacers. If you're not familiar with this process,
we highly recommend seeking a professional's
assistance for safety reasons.

8
Front Wheel / Fork Installation
Step 1: Remove the black protective guard from the front fork. Then, extract the red pad designed to safeguard the hydraulic brake caliper.
Step 2: Position the wheel between the forks. Carefully align the wheel hub's axle with the fork dropouts, ensuring that it is completely seated. Additionally,
confirm that the brake rotor is correctly engaged with the brake caliper.
Step 3: Get the quick-release skewer ready for installation by detaching the thumb nut and one cone spring.
Sa fet y

WARNING: Never engage the brake lever when the brake disc or the protective red pad is not in place within the caliper. Doing so may cause irreparable
harm to the hydraulic brake caliper.
9
Step 4: Insert the quick-release skewer into the hub from the side opposite the brake. Slide one cone spring onto the skewer from the other side,
ensuring both springs' narrow ends point inward towards the hub.
Step 5: Screw the thumb nut onto the skewer until it's snug. Align the quick-release lever with the axle. Then, using the palm of your hand, firmly
close the lever to secure the wheel in place.

Step 6: Front Fork Installation
10

Step 7: Inflate the tires to the appropriate pressure level for optimal riding comfort and safety. Do not exceed the maximum pressure indicated on the tire sidewall.
Step 8: After inflating the tires, spin the front wheel to check for balance and smooth rotation. The quick-release lever on the front wheel should be firmly secured.
If the ride feels unsteady or you hear noise from the wheel, this could indicate that the bolts are either not fully tightened or the wheel is not properly aligned.
Make adjustments as necessary.
11

◆
12
Headlight Installation (Requires 4mm Hex Wrench & 10mm Wrench)
Step 1: Loosen the bolts on the fork brace. Use a 10mm wrench to hold the nut in place while turning the bolt with a 4mm hex wrench.
Step 2: Position the headlight and front fender against the fork brace, aligning the bolt holes. Thread the bolt through the aligned holes,
placing a washer under the bolt head, and tighten securely with both wrenches.

13
◆Pedal Installation (Requires 15mm Wrench)
Step 1: Ensure correct pedal orientation; the right pedal is marked with an "R," and the left pedal may be identified by an "L" or lack of marking.
You can find these indicators on the pedal's plastic cover and the end of the pedal threads.
Step 2: Lightly grease the pedal spindle. Start threading each pedal by hand, making sure it threads straight and smoothly. If there's resistance,
double-check the side alignment. Once hand-tightened, use a 15mm wrench to fully secure the pedals.

14
◆Seat Height Adjustment
Release the seatpost's quick-release lever by pulling it out. Slide the seatpost to the desired height, making sure not to exceed the minimum insertion
mark indicated on the seatpost. Once adjusted, close the lever to secure the seatpost.
WARNING: Never exceed the seatpost's maximum extension mark. Overextending may lead to the seatpost breaking or detaching from the bike,
resulting in a severe risk of injury or even death. Always ensure the seatpost is inserted deep enough into the seat tube so that the
minimum insertion mark is completely hidden. This precaution is crucial for your safety.

Loosen the seat adjustment bolt beneath the seat. Move the seat backward or forward and tilt to adjust the angle within the limit markings etched on the seat
rail. Do not exceed the limit markings, to ensure the safety of yourself and the bike.
Tighten the seat adjustment bolt. Ensure the top and bottom of the seat rail clamp are aligned, so that the seat adjustment bolt will clamp the seat rails
together properly.
Step 1:
Step 2:
NOTICE: The saddle angle is set to meet factory safety standards upon delivery. If you decide to adjust it, please take note of the initial
configuration for reference. Adjustments should be made carefully and only if necessary for your comfort and riding posture.
