two 16mm wrenches, 30mm socket with ratchet & extension,
needle nose pliers and a grease gun.

2. Attach the splicing plates (24791) on both sides using (4)
M6 x 30mm bolts and (4) M6 flange nyloc nuts in the top
two holes on both sides of the baskets. SEE FIGURE 2.
Using (4) M6 x 40mm and (4) M6 flange nyloc nuts, fasten
the splicing plate to the baskets through the bottom two
holes on both sides. SEE FIGURE 2.
3. Turn the basket on its side to attach the axle weldment
(24793) to the bottom of the baskets. Using (2) M8 x
90mm bolts, (2) M8 flange nyloc nuts, (2) M8 flat washers,
fasten the axle to the rear trailer frame along the seam
that joins the baskets. SEE FIGURE 3.
4. Join the axle weldment to the front trailer frame using
(2) M8 x 45mm bolts, (2) M8 flange nyloc nuts, (2) M8 flat
washers. SEE FIGURE 3.
Turn the basket over so that the axle and bottom frame
tubes are exposed upward to continue assembly.
5. Assemble one of the axle legs (25076) to one of the angled
tubes coming up from the axle weldment. Make sure the
leg is oriented so that the hex hole is facing toward the
outside of the unit. Use (1) M8 x 60mm bolt, (1) M8 flange
nyloc nut, to fasten the parts together. Repeat the same
process on the other side of the axle. SEE FIGURE 4.
6. Assemble each hex axle spindle (24792) to each leg using
(1) M8 x 30mm bolt, (1) M8 lock washer, (1) M8 flat washer
for each side. Tighten these down completely. SEE
FIGURE 5.
7. Place one wheel on the axle spindle with the grease fitting
facing outward. Secure the wheel by adding (1) M20 flat
washer and (1) M20 slotted nut. Back slotted nut off just
enough to allow for smooth wheel spinning and hole
alignment for the cotter pin. Insert cotter pin and bend
tines over with needle nose pliers so that it will not come
off of the axle spindle. Repeat entire step for the second
wheel. SEE FIGURE 6.
8. YOU MUST GREASE THE BEARINGS OF EACH WHEEL
BEFORE USE. Using a grease gun, pump high-quality
grease into the bearings by attaching to grease fitting
located on wheel hub. Check the grease level frequently
to prevent bearings from seizing.

TONGUE ASSEMBLY
9. Assemble the bent hitch tongue (24804) and the center
hitch tongue (24803) by lining up the triangular hole
pattern and fastening (1) M8 x 60mm bolt and (1) M8
flange nyloc nut through the single hole closest to the end
of the center hitch tongue. SEE FIGURE 7.
10. Find the latching mechanism (24807) in your parts bag
and place on the center hitch tongue over the pair of
holes so that the handle is facing toward the hitch pin.
The bent hitch tongue should bend away from the surface
you are placing the latch onto. Fasten the latch onto the
center hitch tongue using (2) M6 x 65mm bolts, (2) M6 flat
washers, and (2) M6 flange nyloc nuts. SEE FIGURE 7.
11. Assemble the pivoting hitch tongue (24800) to the open
end of the center hitch tongue using (1) M10 x 70mm bolt
and (1) M10 flange nyloc nut. SEE FIGURE 7.
12. Fasten the tongue assembly to the axle by placing the
pivoting hitch tongue section into the center bracket of
the axle and fastening with (1) M10 x 65mm bolt and (1)
M10 flange nyloc nut. SEE FIGURE 8.
The unit can now be turned over onto the wheels for the
final assembly steps. Be careful for the loosely swinging
hitch bar, as it is not yet secured in place.
13. With the basket set in the dump position, and the hitch
bar set on the ground, find the latch plate (24806) in your
parts bag. Attach the latch plate to the front trailer frame
at the two holes on the bottom tube. Using (2) M6 x
40mm, (2) M6 flange nyloc nuts, and (2) M6 flat washers,
fasten the plate to the front of the frame. SEE FIGURE 9.
14. The hitch tongue can now be attached to the hitch of your
ATV with the hitch pin (25033) and hairpin style cotter
pin (12118). Making sure the hitch tongue is straight and
securely fastened to your ATV, the basket can be pivoted
down and locked into place. SEE FIGURE 10.
