Le MT-15, un compteur d’heuresconçu pour lesmoteursélectriques à
courant alternatif ou continu, ore uneexactitude des heuresécoulées.
Cette unitéest alimentée par une pileinterne au lithium et ne requiert
aucunealimentation. Version avecréarmement égalementdisponible.
Le fonctionnement du compteur d’heuresest déclenché parun capteur
xé au boutd’uncâble de4 pieds (1.3m). U ne fois installé sur le moteur,
le capteur détecte le champmagnétique àtravers le boîtierdumoteur.
Le fait que l’unité soit déclenchée par lechamp magnétique du moteur,
les heures sont aichées entemps réel, ce quiest très utile lors de
l’entretien et dansles cas de programmes degarantie de tous les types
de moteurs électriques.Dès quelemoteurcommence à tourner, l’icône
des heures clignote et le temps estachéen dixième d’heures jusq
9,999.9 et revient à zéro une fois cettelimite atteinte.

FUNCTION
The MT-15, a self-powereddigitalhour meter for electricmotors,
keepstrack of true motor runningtime for all types of AC or D C
electric motors.The unit ispowered by aninternal lithium battery.
No external power connections are required.Resettable version
also available.
The operation ofthe hourmeter is triggered by a sensor attached
at theend of a4 feet (1.3m)external cable.When placedon the
motor, the sensor sensesthe magnetic field through the motor
casing.
Since the unitis triggered by the motor’s magnetic eld, the hours
display actual operation.This is useful formaintenance and
warrantyapplications for anytypeof AC or DC powered electric
motor. Whenthemotor is ON, the hours icon will blinkindicating
hour meter is active.
With solidstate technology, the unit is built for maximum durability
for harsh environments and rugged applications.

avec réarmement
1. INSTALLATION
Aucun chiffre n’apparaîtra sur l’afficheur car le compteur
est en mode repos. Pour l’activer, s’assurer que le moteur
est fermé, ensuite appuyer et retenir le bouton S1 pour 1
seconde. L’afficheur indiquera les heures accumulées et
l’icône HEURES apparaîtra.
Placer le détecteur sur le moteur pendant qu’il
fonctionne. Le compteur indique maintenant la vitesse du
moteur (TPM). Sinon, fixer l’aimant au bout du détecteur
à l’aide du ruban. Arrêter le moteur et le compteur
indiquera les heures accumulées.
2.RÉGLAGE DE LA MINUTERIE POUR
L’ENTRETIEN
Appuyer et retenir le bouton S2 pour 4 secondes. Le
chiffre à l’extrême droite de l’afficheur clignotera et
l’icône SERVICE sera affiché. Appuyer en retenant le
bouton S1 fera augmenter automatiquement le chiffre
clignotant. Une fois que le chiffre désiré est atteint,
relâcher le bouton S1 et appuyer sur le bouton S2 pour 1
seconde afin de passer au prochain chiffre. Répéter cette
séquence jusqu’à ce que le temps de service soit entré.
Après un délai de 14 à 16 secondes, et en n’appuyant sur
aucun des boutons, l’afficheur retournera au mode des
heures totales.
3.ACTIVATION DE LA MINUTERIE POUR
L’ENTRETIEN
Appuyer et retenir simultanément les boutons S1 et S2
pendant 4 secondes. Les deux chiffres augmenteront à 20
secondes et ensuite retourneront au mode des heures
totales. Lorsque le moteur est en marche et une fois que
le temps d’entretien ait atteint zéro, l’icône SERVICE
apparaîtra.
4. VISIONNEMENT DU TEMPS D’ENTRETIEN
Appuyer et retenir le bouton S2 pour 4 secondes pour
vérifier le temps d’entretien qui reste. Pour continuer
l’entretien, ne rien faire d’autre. Pour débuter une
nouvelle séquence d’entretien, répéter les étapes 2 et 3 de
nouveau. Pour vérifier le temps d’entretien qui reste en
tout temps, appuyer et retenir le bouton S2.
5. RÉARMEMENT DE L’ICÔNE SERVICE
Appuyer et retenir les boutons S1 et S2 pour 20 secondes.
L’icône SERVICE disparaîtra. Le temps d’entretien
réapparaîtra automatiquement au chiffre programmé
antérieurement.
6. RÉARMEMENT DES HEURES TOTALES ET
DU TEMPS D’ENTRETIEN
Appuyer et retenir le bouton S1 jusqu’à ce que le chiffre
05 apparaisse. Relâcher le bouton S1 et après 8 secondes,
l’afficheur retournera aux heures totales. Appuyer et
retenir simultanément les boutons S1 et S2 pendant 20
secondes et le compteur complètera un réarmement.

1. INSTALLATION
The LCD will be blank because the meter is in its sleep
mode. With the motor OFF, press and hold the S1 button
for 1 second to activate the monitor. This one time action
will remove the meter from the sleep mode and turn it
ON. The LCD will display the accumulated hours on the
hour meter and a HOURS icon.
Place the sensor on the motor while it’s running. The
meter will now indicate the speed of the motor (RPM). If
not, affix the magnet to the sensor using the double-sided
tape. Stop the motor and now the meter will indicate total
running time.
2.TO SET THE MAINTENANCE INTERVAL
TIMER
Press and hold down the S2 button for 4 seconds. The
right most digit on the LCD will flash and the SERVICE
icon will be displayed. Pressing and holding the S1 button
will cause the flashing digit to automatically increment.
When the desired number has been reached, release the
S1 button and press the S2 button for 1 second to
increment to the next digit. Repeat above steps until the
service time interval has been returned. After 14 to 16
seconds with no buttons pressed, the LCD display will
return to total hours mode.
3.ACTIVATING THE MAINTENANCE INTERVAL
TIMER
Press and hold the S1 and S2 buttons simultaneously for 4
seconds. The two digits will increment to 20 seconds and
then return to total hours mode. When the motor is
running and the maintenance time has reached zero, the
SERVICE icon will come on.
4. VIEWING MAINTENANCE INTERVAL
Press and hold the S2 button for 4 seconds to view
remaining time of your maintenance interval. To continue
current maintenance, do nothing. If you would like to start
a new maintenance interval, repeat steps 2 & 3 again.
Each time you want to view the remaining time of your
maintenance, press and hold S2.
5. RESETTING THE SERVICE ICON
Press and hold the S1 and S2 buttons for 20 seconds. The
SERVICE icon will shut OFF. The maintenance time will
automatically default to the number previously
programmed.
6.TO RESET TOTAL HOURS AND MAINTENANCE
TIME
Press and hold the S1 button until 05 is displayed. Release
the S1 button and after 8 seconds, the display will return
to total hours. Press and hold S1 and S2 simultaneously
for 20 seconds and the meter will perform a total reset.
