INTRODUCTION
CongratulationsonbeingtheproudnewowneroftheZAGGKeyboardCase,
madeexclusivelyfortheLGGPad.TheKeyboardCasehasbeendesignedto
makeyourmobiletypingneedsfastandeasy.Itsspaciouskeyboardlayout
andisland‐stylekeysgiveyoutheroomyouneedtotypenaturally,withfewer
typos.Andwithitsfull‐bodyprotectivecasethatdoublesasastand,youcango
anywhereknowingyourGPadissafeandreadyforworkandplay.

INSERTING/REMOVINGYOURGPad
ToinsertyourGPadintotheKeyboardCaseopenthecover
andpositiontheKeyboardCasesothatitskeyboardisfacing
you.Then,withyourGPadinlandscapemodeandthevolume
controlsfacingup,setthebottomhalfofyourtabletinthe
cover.EnsureyourGPadissettledonthecover’sbottom(you
mayneedtoapplylightdownwardpressureonyourtablet).
Next,snapthetophalfofyourtabletintothecover.Youshould
beabletofeelwhenyourtabletissecured.Checkallofyour
tablet’scornerstomakesuretheyhaveseatedproperly.
ToeasilyremoveyourGPad,simplyopenthecoverandapply
alightpressuretothebackofit.ThiswillunseatyourGPad
enoughforyoutograbitsedge.Graspyourtablet’sexposed
sideandlift/pullitoutofthecover.
POWERINGONANDOFF
ToturnyourKeyboardCaseon,pressthe
POWERbuttonlocatedintheupperright
cornerofthekeyboard.AblueLEDwill
illuminatebrieflywhilethekeyboardpowersup.
ToturnyourKeyboardCaseoff,simplypress
thePOWERbuttonagain.
PAIRINGYOURZAGGKeyboardCase
PairingtheKeyboardCasewithyourGPadiseasy.TheKeyboardCaseshould
onlyneedtobepairedonce,usingthefollowingdirections.Iftheconnection
betweenyourtabletandKeyboardCaseiseverlost,simplyrepeatthesesteps.
1.Onyourtabletselect:SETTINGS>BLUETOOTH>ON.
2.PressthePAIRbuttononyourKeyboardCasekeyboard—
thePAIRbuttonislocatedintheupperrightcorner
nexttothePOWERbutton.AblueLEDabovethePAIR
buttonwillbeginflashingandwillcontinue
toflashuntilyourKeyboardCaseandtabletarepaired..
3.Yourtablet’sBluetoothmenuwilldisplay“ZAGGFolio”
asanavailabledevice.Selectittocompletepairing.
IfyourGPaddoesn’tshow“ZAGGFolio”,selectSCANonyourtablet’sBluetooth
menutosearchforit.
CHARGING
YourKeyboardCasefeaturesapowerfullithiumpolymerbatterythatlastsforup
tothreemonthsofnormalusebetweencharges*.Itcomeswithachargingcable
youcanusetochargeitquicklyandconveniently.TochargeyourKeyboardCase,
simplyfollowthesesteps:
1.PlugthemicroUSBendofthechargingcableintothechargingportlocated
onthesideofthekeyboard,justunderthePOWERbutton.
2.PlugtheUSBendofthecableintoanyUSBoutlet(includingaZAGGsparq,
yourcomputer,awalloutletconverter,etc.).
3.TheLEDabovethePOWERbuttonwillilluminatetoindicatetheKeyboard
Caseischarging.Waituntilthislightturnsoff,indicatingafullcharge.It
usuallytakes2‐4hourstocompletelychargeyourKeyboardCase.
4.WhenyourKeyboardCaseisfullycharged,removethemicroUSBconnector
andenjoyyourKeyboardCaseforuptothreemonthsbeforeyouneedto
chargeitagain*.
*Basedonnormaluseofapproximately2‐3hoursperday.
BATTERYLIFE
Asmentioned,theKeyboardCasefeaturesapowerful,rechargeablebatterythat
lastsuptothreemonthsbetweencharges*.TocheckyourKeyboardCase’sremaining
batterypower,simplyholddownthefunction(fn)keyandpressthebatterykey(also
thealtkey).TheLEDabovethePAIRbuttonwillflashoneofthreeways.
1.Threegreenflashesindicate50%ormorebatteryliferemaining.
2.Threeyellowflashesindicatebetween25%‐49%batteryliferemaining.
3.Threeredflashesindicatelessthan25%batteryliferemaining.WhenyourKeyboard
Casereachescriticalbatterylevel,theredlightwillflashonceeveryfiveminutes.
Tohelppreservebatterylife,yourKeyboardCasewillentersleepmodeiflefton
andnotusedforseveralminutes.ToawakenyourKeyboardCase,pressanykey.The
KeyboardCase’sbatteryhasnomemoryandthereforemaybechargedwheneveryou
wish.Foroptimalbatterylife,werecommendturningyourKeyboardCaseoffwhenit
willsitunusedforaprolongedtime.

TRACKBACK–Skipstotheprevioustrackonyourcurrentplaylist.
PLAY/PAUSE–Startsorpausesyourcurrentplaylist.
TRACKFORWARD–Skipstothenexttrackonyourcurrentplaylist.
MUTE–Mutesyourtablet’saudio.
VOLUMEDOWN–Decreasesyourtablet’svolume.
VOLUMEUP–Increasesyourtablet’svolume.
THEFUNCTION(fn)KEY
Thefnkeyoperatesmanyofthefunctionsthatappearatthetopofa
keythatfeaturestwosymbols.Toactivatethesefunctions,holdthefn
keydownandpressthedesiredkey.Alistofspecialfnkeysandtheir
operationsislistedbelow.
CAPS–ActivatestheCapsLockfeature.ToturnCapsLockoff,simplyholdthefn
keyandpresscapsagain.
VOICE–Activatesyourtablet’svoicefeature.
BATTERYSYMBOL–Indicatesremainingbatterylife.
FN+DELETE–ForwardDelete.
TROUBLESHOOTING
IfyourGPaddoesnotrespondtoyourKeyboardCasetheremaybea
simpleexplanationsuchasadeadbatteryoranunsuccessfulpairing.
Pleaseusethefollowingtohelptroubleshootyoursituation.Ifnoneofthe
followingsolveyourissue,thenpleasecontactZAGG’scustomerservice
andoneofourtrainedprofessionalswillbehappytoassistyou.
1.RestartyourtabletandfollowthePairinginstructionsagain.
2.TurnyourKeyboardCaseoffandbackon.YoushouldseetheLED
abovethePOWERbuttonilluminatebriefly,ifnot,chargeyour
KeyboardCase.
3.Aftercharging,turnyourKeyboardCaseon.IftheLEDabovethe
POWERbuttondoesnotilluminate,andyourkeyboarddoesn’toperate
correctly,pleasecontactZAGG’scustomerservice.
4.Forgetandre‐pairyourKeyboardCase.Onyourtabletselect:
SETTINGS>BLUETOOTH>ON.Ifyousee“ZAGGKeyboardCase”
listedasanavailabledevice,touchthearrowtotherightofitand
choosetohaveyourtabletforgetthedevice.
5.PressthePAIRbuttononyourKeyboardCaseandwatchfortheLED
aboveittoflashblue.
6.Yourtabletshoulddisplay“ZAGGKeyboardCase”asanavailabledevice.
Selectit.
7.Ifyourtabletgivesyouanerrormessage,repeatthepairingprocess*.
