• The surface of the stove can become very hot when in use. NEVER leave child-
ren unattended with the stove. Children should be supervised to ensure they
do not play with the stove.
• This stove is not intended for use by person (including children) with reduced
physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge,
unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the
appliance by a person responsible for their safety.
• The surface of the stove can become very hot when in use. Use appropriate
-heat proof- personal protection such as gloves when operating the stove.
• Take care with inammable clothes, as clothes might catch re when in close
range with the fire inside the stove.
• Do not work with inammable solvents in the same room as where the stove
is working. Avoid risk, remove inflammable solvents and combustible materi-
als from the room.
• The stove is heavy, have the strength of the oor checked by an authorized
expert.
• Bad, wet, impregnated or painted rewood will lead to formation of con-
densation and/or soot in the chimney or in the re place itself. Resulting in
lower performance and possible dangerous situations. Follow the require-
ments as set out in chapter D3.
• Have the chimney cleaned and swept regularly following the local legislation
and or your insurance prescription. If no local legislation and/or insurance
prescription: make sure that at least twice per year (rst time at the begin-
ning of the heating season), your entire stove system -including chimney- is
checked and maintained by an authorized specialist. When intensively using
the stove the whole system including the chimney must be cleaned more fre-
quently.
• Do not use the stove as a barbeque.
• Only connect one woodstove per chimney ue.
• Always be in compliance with the instructions of the local re department.
• Do not use - wood work scraps with glues and/or solvents, - waste wood in
general, - cardboard (for start up purposes a minimum of paper may be used
only during the starting phase).
• Do not use liquid fuel, alcohol, petrol, gasoline etc.
• Do not burn waste materials or rubbish in the stove
This stove also requires an electrical power input. Please carefully read the below
warnings and remarks:
• Do not use a damaged power cable.
• Do not clamp or bend the cable.
• Make sure the power cable does not touch any hot parts of the stove
• Do not use an extension cord.
• Check the mains voltage. This device is suitable exclusively for earthed soc-
kets – connection voltage 230 Volt/ ~50 Hz.
• The device MUST always have an earthed connection. You may absolutely
not connect the device if the power supply is not earthed.
• The plug must always be easily accessible when the device is connected.
Before connecting the device, check that:
