1. Algemene informatie
Voor het in gebruik nemen van deze machine dient men eerst de gebruiksaanwijzing volledig te lezen
en te begrijpen!!!
Deze handleiding bevat belangrijke informatie voor de juiste manier van het installeren, de werking
en het onderhouden van de uitrusting die hierin beschreven is. Bij het gebruik van elke compressor
komen verschillende risico’s op eigen verwondingen of eigendomsschade kijken. Iedereen die in
aanraking komt met het installeren, onderhouden of met de werking van de compressor moet
volledig bekend zijn met de inhoud van deze handleiding. Om u te beschermen tegen het oplopen
van persoonlijk letsel of eigendomsschade dient u de volgende aanwijzingen en instructies in deze
handleiding op te volgen.
Iedere ZionAir compressor is geproduceerd in overeenstemming met de machinerichtlijn
2006/42/EG. Bij iedere compressor wordt een handleiding inclusief onderhoudslegenda en
conformiteitsverklaring geleverd, deze dienen goed bewaard en bijgehouden te worden.
Omdat er in het oog van de kwaliteit constant verbeteringen aan de apparatuur worden
doorgevoerd, behoudt ZionAir zich het recht voor om specificaties van de in de handleiding
beschreven apparatuur te wijzigen.
2. Veiligheidsvoorschriften
Algemene veiligheidsvoorschriften
1. Alvorens men met deze machine aan de slag gaat, dient men de volledige gebruikers-
handleiding gelezen en begrepen te hebben.
2. Controleer de machine voorafgaand aan ieder gebruik op defecten, wanneer er sprake is
van een defect of de machine functioneert niet naar behoren, laat deze dan eerst
repareren door een gespecialiseerd persoon/bedrijf.
3. Draag te allen tijde oogbescherming wanneer U met de machine werkt, gebruik een
veiligheidsbril welke voldoet aan de nationale veiligheidsnorm.
4. De Aan/Uit schakelaar moet op de Uit-positie staan voor men deze op de accu aansluit.
5. Het apparaat dient nooit zonder toezicht achtergelaten te worden tijdens gebruik.
6. Gebruik de machine nooit in een gevaarlijke werkomgeving. Het gebruik van elektrisch
gereedschap in vochtige omgevingen of in de regen kan elektrocutie veroorzaken.
7. Gebruik dit apparaat alleen in een 12 Volt systeem.
8. De compressor zal heel erg warm worden tijdens en zal nog warm blijven na het gebruik.
Raak de delen van het apparaat (behalve de AAN/UIT knop), nooit met uw blote handen
aan tijdens of kort na het gebruik van de compressor.
9. Houdt kinderen en bezoekers op een veilige afstand.
10. Gebruik de machine nooit in de buurt van explosieve/licht ontvlambare stoffen en/of
gassen, vonken kunnen ontvlambare gassen of stoffen ontsteken.
11. Gebruik te allen tijde Uw gezond verstand wanneer U werkt met machines.
LET OP! Het niet opvolgen van deze instructies kan schade aan materialen en/of lichamelijk letsel
veroorzaken!

3. Bediening
Gebruiksaanwijzing
1. Gebruik de compressor altijd binnen de maximale toegestane druk van de compressor.
2. Uw luchtcompressor is uitgerust met een thermische beveiliging. Deze functie is ontworpen
om ervoor te zorgen dat de compressor niet oververhit raakt, wat zorgt voor permanente
schade aan uw luchtcompressor.
3. Als tijdens het gebruiken van de compressor de thermische beveiliging inschakelt, probeer
deze dan niet opnieuw op te starten. De schakelaar zal automatisch gereset worden als deze
gereset is en de compressor is afgekoeld, kunt U deze weer veilig gebruiken.
4. Het is sterk aangeraden om de motor van het voertuig te laten draaien tijdens het gebruik
van de compressor om leeglopen van de accu te voorkomen. De prestaties van de
compressor zijn ook beter met een draaiende motor.
5. Houdt altijd de MAXIMALE ARBEIDSCYCLUS van de luchtcompressor in de gaten. Het
overschrijden van de maximale toegestane druk of het overschrijden van de arbeidscyclus zal
leiden tot schade aan de luchtcompressor.
6. Gebruik de compressor in goed geventileerde ruimten.
Onderdelen bediening
1. Drukschakelaar: De drukschakelaar zal
de motor automatisch starten wanneer
de druk in de tank lager is dan de door
de fabriek ingestelde “cut-in” druk. Het
zal de motor laten stoppen wanneer
druk in de tank de door de fabriek
ingestelde “cut-out” druk bereikt.
2. Veiligheidsklep: Als de drukschakelaar
de luchtcompressor niet uitschakelt op
zijn “cut-out” drukinstelling zal de
veiligheidsklep ervoor zorgen dat de
druk niet te hoog wordt in de
compressor door lucht eruit te laten lopen.
3. Manometer tank druk: De manometer van de tank geeft de luchtdruk in de tank weer.
4. Uitlaatmanometer: De uitlaatmanometer geeft de luchtdruk weer wat beschikbaar is aan de
uitlaatzijde van de regulator.
5. Regulator (drukregelaar): Regelt de luchtdruk die op de uitlaatmanometer wordt getoond.
Draai de knop met de klok mee om de druk te verhogen en tegen de klok in om de druk te
verminderen in de tank. Dit is vooral handig voor het bedienen van luchtgereedschap.
6. Terugslagklep (niet getoond): Wanneer de luchtcompressor in werking is, staat de
terugslagklep open, zodat er lucht in de tank kan komen. Als de luchtcompressor de “cut-
out” stand behaald sluit de terugslagklep, zodat de luchtdruk in de tank blijft.
7. Bandenpistool: Wordt gebruikt voor het opblazen van banden en voor het opblazen van een
ander object met een ventiel. Door te knijpen in het pistool wordt de lucht uit het pistool
geblazen en zo in het object gepompt.

Aansluiten compressor op accu
LET OP! Laat de motor van het voertuig lopen wanneer men de compressor gebruikt om te
voorkomen dat de accu van het voertuig leegloopt, de compressor werkt ook beter met lopende
motor.
1. Controleer of de Aan/Uit schakelaar op Uit (OFF) staat alvorens men de compressor aansluit.
2. Sluit vervolgens eerst de rode accuklem aan en vervolgens de zwarte accuklem.
3. Zet nu de Aan/Uit schakelaar op Aan (ON).
Gebruik bandenpistool
1. Controleer welke druk door de fabrikant wordt voorgeschreven voor de betreffende band.
2. Draai het ventieldopje los.
3. Bevestig de ventielklem aan het einde van de slang van het op het ventiel, controleer
vervolgens de druk die wordt aangegeven op de manometer van het bandenpistool.
4. Als de band harder moet worden opgepompt, trek dan de trekker van het bandenpistool
naar achteren om meer lucht in de band te pompen, laat de trekker onmiddellijk los wanneer
de voorgeschreven druk bereikt is en controleer nu nogmaals de druk op de manometer.
5. Indien de band te hard is opgepompt, druk dan op het knopje aan de linkerzijde van het
bandenpistool, hiermee kan men druk weg laten lopen tot de gewenste druk bereikt is.
6. Als de gewenste druk is bereikt, ontkoppel dan het blaaspistool van het ventiel en draai het
ventieldopje terug vast op het ventiel.
Gebruik van ander luchtgereedschap
Het is ook mogelijk om de compressor te gebruiken in combinatie met een blaaspistool en/of ander
licht luchtgereedschap, let hierbij goed op het luchtverbruik van deze gereedschappen.
4. Onderhoud
WAARSCHUWING! Voordat men onderhoud gaat plegen, dient men de compressor los te koppelen
van de accu. Het niet loskoppelen van de compressor kan een elektrische schok veroorzaken.
Controle voorafgaand aan ieder gebruik
Controleer de compressor voor ieder gebruik op beschadigde en/of vervormde onderdelen en
controleer alle leidingen op slijtage en lekkage. Indien er sprake is van een mankement/defect, stel
de compressor dan buiten gebruik tot dit verholpen is.
Onderhoud
WAARSCHUWING! Alvorens men onderhoud gaat plegen, dient men de compressor los te
koppelen van de accu en dient men de lucht uit de tank te laten!
1. Laat de luchttank leeg alvorens men onderhoud gaat plegen.
2. Laat de luchttank leeg door de aftapkraan open te zetten alvorens men de compressor
opslaat, door de tank leeg te laten wordt condens uit de tank verwijdert, dit voorkomt
roesten van de binnenkant van de tank.
3. Als de klep van de aftapkraan verstopt is, haal deze dan los en maak deze schoon, plaats deze
vervolgens weer terug.

4. Nadat de condens uit de tank is gelopen, kan men de aftapkraan weer dichtdraaien.
5. Reinig de compressor met een licht vochtig doekje, gebruik geen schoonmaakmiddelen,
bijtende middelen etc. om de compressor te reinigen.
Vervangen van de tank
Bekijk wanneer de compressor is geproduceerd, deze dient namelijk na 2 tot 5 jaar vervangen te
worden. Inspecteer de tank regelmatig op roest, indien er sprake is van roestvorming, dient de
compressor onmiddellijk buiten gebruik te worden gesteld tot de tank vervangen is.

7. Garantie
1. De garantie treed in werking op de datum vermeld op de aankoopnota en heeft een
geldigheid van 12 maanden.
2. De garantie is niet overdraagbaar zonder een schriftelijke verklaring van toestemming van
Uw leverancier.
3. Zonder aankoopnota kan geen aanspraak op garantie worden gemaakt.
4. Garantie is alleen van toepassing als het product volgens de bijgeleverde gebruiksaanwijzing
gebruikt wordt en uitsluitend voor het doel waarvoor het is ontworpen.
5. Er mogen geen wijzigingen aan het product worden uitgevoerd.
6. De garantie is niet van toepassing bij onoordeelkundig gebruik.
7. Eventuele verzendkosten vallen niet onder de garantie bepaling.
8. Reparaties dienen uitsluitend door Uw leverancier te geschieden. Elke door derden
uitgevoerde reparatie(s) zullen (zal) de aanspraak op garantie doen vervallen.
9. Reparaties gedurende de garantie periode zal de geldigheid niet verlengen. Wel wordt een
garantie op de reparatie van drie maanden afgegeven mocht de reguliere garantietermijn
vervallen.
10. De eventueel uit te voeren onderhoudswerkzaamheden, beschreven in de
gebruiksaanwijzing, dienen tijdig uitgevoerd te worden.
11. Voor garantie kunt u enkel terecht bij het verkooppunt waar u het artikel heeft aangekocht.

1. General
Before starting to use the machine you need to read and fully understand the manual!!!
This manual contains important information about the proper way of installing, operating and
maintaining the equipment described in this manual. When using any compressor there are a
different kind of risks that you may incur, risks in personal injuries or property damage. Everyone
who comes into contact with the installation, maintenance or operation of the Zionair compressor be
fully familiar with the contents of this manual. To protect yourself against personal injury or property
damage you need to follow the following information and instructions in this manual.
Every Zionair compressor is manufactured in accordance with the Machinery Directive 2006/42/EC.
Every compressor is supplied with a manual including a declaration of conformity. These must be
stored and kept up to date properly.
Because of quality reasons constant improvements are going to be made on the equipment, Zionair
reserves the right to alter specifications of the equipment described in this manual.
2. Safety rules
General safety regulations
1. Before operating the machine, make sure you have fully read and understood the entire
contents of this user manual.
2. Check the machine for defects previous to each use, in case of a defect or when the machine
does not function properly, first have it repaired by a specialized person/company.
3. At all times wear eye protection when operating the machine, use safety glasses with side
cover or use an over glasses which meets the national safety standard.
4. Always check if the ON/OFF switch is in the OFF-position before connecting the compressor
to the battery.
5. Never leave the machine unattended when in use.
6. Never use this machine in a dangerous working environment. The use of power equipment in
moist environments or rain can cause electrocution.
7. Only use this machine in a 12 Volt system.
8. The compressor will get very hot during use and will stay hot after use. Never touch the parts
of the machine (except for ON/OFF button) with bare hands during or shortly after use.
9. Keep kids and visitors at a safe distance.
9. Never use the machine near explosive/highly flammable liquids and/or gases, sparks that
might occur in electrical parts could ignite flammable gases or liquids.
10. At all times use your common sense when operating machines.
PAY ATTENTION! Failure to heed these instructions may cause damage to materials and/or
injuries!

3. Operation
Instructions for use
1. Only use the compressor within the maximum allowed pressure of the compressor.
2. The compressor is equipped with a thermal safety, this function prevents the compressor
from overheating, overheating causes permanent damage to your compressor.
3. When the thermal safety switches on, never try to turn the compressor back on. The thermal
switch will automatically reset when the compressor is cooled down sufficiently, then you
can safely use the compressor again.
4. It is strongly recommended to keep the engine of the vehicle running during use of the
compressor to prevent the battery from draining. The compressor will also perform better
with running engine.
5. Always think about the MAXIMUM DUTY CYCLE, exceeding the maximum duty cycle or
maximum pressure will damage the compressor.
6. Only use the compressor in well-vented environments.
Operation parts
1. Pressure switch: The pressure switch
will make the motor start automatically
when the pressure in the tank is lower
than the factory-set “cut-in” pressure
and will stop when pressure in the tank
reaches “cut-out” pressure.
2. Safety valve: When the pressure switch
fails to turn off the motor when the
tank reaches the “cut-out” pressure, the
safety valve will release air to prevent
the pressure from building up too much
in the compressor.
3. Pressure meter tank: Shows the air pressure inside the tank.
4. Pressure meter outlet: Shows the air pressure available from the outlet side of the regulator.
5. Pressure regulator: Used to set the pressure of the outlet. Turn the knob clockwise to set the
pressure higher, turn the knob anti-clockwise to lower the pressure on the outlet side. This is
useful when using air tools.
6. One-way valve (not shown in picture): When the pump is working the one-way valve opens
so air can flow into the tank. When the pump shuts off after reaching the “cut-out” pressure
the valve closes so the air is trapped inside the tank.
7. Tire inflating gun: The inflating gun is used for inflating tires and other objects with an
inflation valve. By squeezing the trigger on the gun, air is blown out of the gun, thereby
inflating the object.
Connecting the compressor to the battery
PAY ATTENTION! Keep the vehicle’s engine running when using the compressor to prevent the
battery from draining, also the compressor performs better with running engine.

1. Check if the ON/OFF switch is in the OFF position before connecting the compressor.
2. First connect the red battery clamp (+) to the battery and then the black battery clamp (-).
3. Now put the ON/OFF switch in the ON position.
Use of tire inflating gun
1. Check the pressure that is prescribed by the manufacturer for the tire to be inflated.
2. Loosen the valve cap.
3. Place the valve clamp on the end of the hose over the valve, accordingly check the pressure
indicated on the pressure meter on the inflating gun.
4. When the tire is to be inflated, pull the trigger on the inflating gun, when the tire reaches the
prescribed pressure, release the trigger immediately and check the pressure which is
indicated on the inflating gun.
5. When the tire pressure is too high, press the button on the left side of the inflating gun to
release pressure from the tire until the desired pressure is reached.
6. When the desired pressure is reached, release the inflating gun from the valve and place
back the valve cap and firmly tighten.
Use of other air tools
It is also possible to use the compressor in combination with an air blow gun and/or other light air
tools, pay attention to the air consumption of these tools.
4. Maintenance
WARNING! Before performing maintenance, remove the plug form the power source, failure to
heed this instruction may cause electrocution.
Check before each use
Check the compressor previous to each use for damaged and/or deformed parts. Check all hoses for
wear and tear and leakages. In case of a malfunction/defect, do not use the compressor until it has
been repaired.
Maintenance
Warning! Before performing maintenance on the compressor, disconnect the compressor from the
battery and release air out of the tank!
1. Release air from the tank before performing maintenance.
2. Release air from the tank by opening the drain tap before storing the compressor, by
emptying the tank, moisture is removed from the tank, preventing it from corroding on the
inside.
3. When the valve of the drain tap is clogged, dismount it and clean it, then place it back again.
4. After the moisture is removed out of the tank, you can close the drain tap.
5. Clean the compressor with a slightly moist cloth, never use any cleaning fluids, corrosive
detergents, etc. to clean the compressor.

Replacing the tank
Check when the compressor is produced, the air tank should be replaced after 2 to 5 years.
Occasionally inspect the tank for corrosion, in case of corrosion, immediately put the compressor out
of use until the tank has been replaced.

7. Warranty
1. The warranty enters into force on the date that is mentioned on the receipt and has a validity
of twelve months.
2. The warranty is not transferable without written permission of your distributor.
3. Warranty cannot be claimed without a receipt.
4. Warranty only applies when the product is used according to the included manual and is
used exclusively in the way it was designed for.
5. No changes can be made to the product.
6. The warranty does not apply in case of injudicious use.
7. Possible shipping costs are not covered by the warranty.
8. Repairs should exclusively be carried out by your supplier. Repair(s) carried out by others will
result in cancellation of the warranty.
9. Repairs that are carried out during the warranty period will not extend the validity of the
warranty. There will be given a warranty of three months on the repair itself in case the
regular warranty should expire.
10. Potential maintenance of the product, as described in the user manual, should be carried out
on time.
11. For the warranty U can only turn to the retailer where U bought the product.
