1. Algemene informatie
Voor het in gebruik nemen van deze machine dient men eerst de gebruiksaanwijzing volledig te lezen
en te begrijpen!!!
Deze handleiding bevat belangrijke informatie voor de juiste manier van het installeren, de werking
en het onderhouden van de uitrusting die hierin beschreven is. Bij het gebruik van elke verftank met
verfspuit komen verschillende risico’s op eigen verwondingen of eigendomsschade kijken. Iedereen
die in aanraking komt met het installeren, onderhouden of met de werking van de verftank met
verfspuit moet volledig bekend zijn met de inhoud van deze handleiding. Om u te beschermen tegen
het oplopen van persoonlijk letsel of eigendomsschade dient u de volgende aanwijzingen en
instructies in deze handleiding op te volgen.
Iedere ZionAir verftank met verfspuit is geproduceerd in overeenstemming met de Richtlijn voor
Drukapparatuur 97/23/EG. Bij iedere verftank met verfspuit wordt een handleiding inclusief
onderhoudslegenda en conformiteitsverklaring geleverd, deze dienen goed bewaard en bijgehouden
te worden.
Omdat er in het oog van de kwaliteit constant verbeteringen aan de apparatuur worden
doorgevoerd, behoudt ZionAir zich het recht voor om specificaties van de in de handleiding
beschreven apparatuur te wijzigen.
2. Veiligheidsvoorschriften
Algemene veiligheidsvoorschriften
1. Alvorens men met deze machine aan de slag gaat, dient men de volledige gebruikers-
handleiding gelezen en begrepen te hebben.
2. Controleer de machine voorafgaand aan ieder gebruik op defecten, wanneer er sprake is van
een defect of de machine functioneert niet naar behoren, laat deze dan eerst repareren door
een gespecialiseerd persoon/bedrijf.
3. Draag te allen tijde beschermende kleding, denk hierbij aan een werkoverall, werkschoenen,
geschikte handschoenen, ademhalingsbescherming en een gezichtsmasker.
4. Draag te allen tijde oogbescherming wanneer U met de machine werkt, gebruik een
veiligheidsbril met zijschild of gebruik een overzetbril welke voldoet aan de nationale
veiligheidsnorm.
5. Houdt de werkomgeving schoon en goed verlicht, rommel en slechte verlichting zijn factoren
die de kans op gevaarlijke situaties vergroten.
6. Gebruik de machine nooit in een gevaarlijke werkomgeving.
7. Houdt kinderen en derden op een veilige afstand, het is verboden om te spuiten wanneer er
kinderen en/of derden in de buurt zijn.
8. Maak uw werkplaats kind-veilig door te werken met hangsloten op de hoofdschakelaars en
door sleutels te verwijderen wanneer de machine niet in gebruik is.
9. Draag te allen tijde ademhalingsbescherming en een veiligheidsbril wanneer men met de
verftank met verfspuit gaat werken.

Specifieke veiligheidsvoorschriften
1. Voorkom te allen tijde het inademen van verf, draag te allen tijde adembescherming
wanneer men werkt met een verftank met verfspuit. Het inademen van verf/lak veroorzaakt
ernstige longproblemen.
2. Koppel de het gereedschap los van de perslucht alvorens men deze gaat reinigen of
onderhoud gaat plegen.
3. De leiding voor de persluchttoevoer dient afsluitbaar te zijn d.m.v. een kraan en de perslucht
dient vrij te zijn van water, olie en andere verontreinigingen.
4. Controleer de machine voorafgaand aan gebruik op beschadigde en/of defecte onderdelen.
Let hierbij vooral op of alle afdichtingen nog in goede staat zijn en alles goed afsluit,
controleer tevens alle leidingen op lekkages.
5. Gebruik te allen tijde Uw gezond verstand wanneer U werkt met gereedschap.
LET OP! Het niet opvolgen van deze instructies kan schade aan materialen en/of lichamelijk letsel
veroorzaken!
3. Assemblage
Uitpakken
Verwijder de doos en controleer de verftank met spuitpistool op beschadigingen, defecte onderdelen
etc.. Indien er sprake is van beschadiging door transport of een defect onderdeel, neem dan
onmiddellijk contact op met Uw Zionair verkooppunt.
Assemblage
1. Installeer de drukregelaar op de zwenkbare adapter op de deksel van de verftank. Controleer
de onderkant van de drukregelaar voor de locatie van de aansluiting op de tank.
2. Monteer vervolgens het handvat door dit in het gat in het midden van de deksel te
schroeven.
3. Sluit de perslucht aanvoerslang aan op de inlaataansluiting op de drukregelaar.
4. Bevestig de lucht aanvoerslang van het pistool nu op de aansluiting tegenover de
persluchtaanvoer.
5. Verbindt de materiaal aanvoerslang van het pistool met de vloeistof aansluiting op de
tankdeksel.
4. Bediening
Instructies voor de drukregelaar
De drukregelaar reguleert de hoeveelheid druk in de tank. Hiermee wordt dus de druk bepaald van
de verf die naar het pistool gaat. Begin altijd met een lage tankdruk, bijvoorbeeld 0 en stel de druk
vervolgens heel geleidelijk hoger in tot het gewenste spuitpatroon is bereikt. BELANGRIJK! Alvorens
men de perslucht erop zet, dient men de drukregelaar van de tank dicht te draaien. Sluit
vervolgens de perslucht aan en draai de drukregelaar vervolgens geleidelijk open naar ongeveer
0,8 bar. WAARSCHUWING! Stel de druk NOOIT hoger in dan 3,4 bar!

Voorbereiding
1. Vermeng/verdun de verf volgens instructies van de fabrikant alvorens men deze in de tank
doet en zeef de verf wanneer men deze in de tank laat lopen. Doe dit om onopgeloste
deeltjes en vellen te verwijderen, deze kunnen het pistool namelijk verstoppen.
TIP: Het blik verf kan men ook zo in de tank zetten als dit past i.p.v. deze erin te gieten.
2. Plaats de deksel op de tank en draai vervolgens de klemmen aan.
3. Zorg ervoor dat de werkplek schoon en goed verlicht is, daarnaast mag deze niet toegankelijk
zijn voor kinderen en/of dieren, deze kunnen zorgen voor afleiding.
4. Leg de perslucht aanvoerleiding zo neer dat men hier niet over kan struikelen en dat deze
niet beschadigd kan raken. Tevens dient deze lang genoeg te zijn zodat men de verftank vrij
kan bewegen tijdens de spuitwerkzaamheden.
5. Zorg ervoor dat het te spuiten werkstuk vrij is van stof, olie en vocht, vervuiling kan ervoor
zorgen dat de verf niet/niet goed hecht aan het werkstuk.
Bediening
1. Roer allereerst goed door de verf alvorens men deze in de tank doet en zeef de verf wanneer
men deze in de tank laat lopen. Doe dit om onopgeloste deeltjes en vellen te verwijderen,
deze kunnen het pistool namelijk verstoppen.
2. Het blik verf kan men ook zo in de tank zetten als dit past i.p.v. deze erin te gieten.
3. Plaats de deksel op de tank en draai vervolgens de klemmen aan.
4. Draai het T-stuk op de drukregelaar voor de tank linksom dicht en stel de drukregelaar op de
compressor in op de gewenste druk voor het spuitpistool.
5. Stel nu de drukregelaar voor de tank in voor de gewenste druk in de tank. Hoe groter de
afstand in hoogte van het spuitpistool tot de tank wordt, des te hoger moet de druk in de
tank zijn. Over het algemeen dient de druk in de tank te worden ingesteld tussen de 1,7 en
2,1 bar. Wanneer men de druk in de tank lager in wil stellen, draai dan simpelweg aan de T-
hendel van de drukregelaar tot de gewenste druk is ingesteld, het is dan niet nodig de
trekker van het pistool in te drukken om overtollige druk af te laten.
WAARSCHUWING! De druk in de tank mag NOOIT hoger dan 5,5 bar worden ingesteld!
Schoonmaken van het materiaal
WAARSCHUWING! Alvorens men gaat beginnen met schoonmaken, dient men de tank los te
koppelen van de persluchttoevoer. Laat vervolgens de druk van de tank af door te trekken aan de
ring van de veiligheidsklep voor de druk alvorens men de klemmen losdraait en de deksel
verwijderd.
LET OP! Het is heel belangrijk dat de tank, materiaalslang, en het spuitpistool zo snel als het
spuiten klaar is, worden gereinigd.
1. Draai de drukregelaar van de tank helemaal linksom dicht tot men geen veerdruk meer voelt.
2. Trek vervolgens aan de ring van de veiligheidsklep tot alle lucht uit de tank is.
3. Draai nu de klemmen los en klap deze naar achteren.
4. Verwijder vervolgens de deksel van de tank door deze open te klappen.
5. Draai de borgring van de spuitkop 3 slagen los.
6. Sluit de perslucht toevoer aan.

7. Plaats een opgevouwen doek in je handpalm en plaats deze over de spuitkop. Hierdoor
wordt de verf terug gedwongen door de materiaal aanvoerslang.
8. Als alle verf uit de leiding is, maak vervolgens alle onderdelen welke in aanraking zijn
gekomen met verf grondig schoon, gebruik hiervoor een geschikt oplosmiddel.
9. Vul de tank nu met oplosmiddel.
10. Doe de deksel dicht en klem de deksel middels de klemmen.
11. Sluit vervolgens de perslucht aan en bedien vervolgens het spuitpistool tot hier helder
oplosmiddel uitkomt.
12. Herhaal nu stap 4 t/m 7.
13. Controleer of er geen sprake is van verf op de veiligheidsklep, drukmeter, leidingen en
andere onderdelen van de tank en het pistool, welke de vrije doorstroom van lucht kunnen
bemoeilijken.
LET OP! Controleer de drukmeter regelmatig. Wanneer de druk eraf is dient de naald terug
te gaan naar 0.
4. Onderhoud
WAARSCHUWING! Voordat men onderhoud gaat plegen of reparaties uit gaat voeren, dient men
de verftank los te koppelen van de persluchttoevoer en er zeker van te zijn dat er geen druk meer
is in de tank. Tevens dient men het gereedschap onmiddellijk buiten gebruik te stellen wanneer er
sprake is van een defect, abnormale geluiden, of lekkages. Repareer het defecte onderdeel eerst
alvorens men het apparaat weer in gebruik neemt!
Controle voorafgaand aan ieder gebruik
Controleer de verftank met spuitpistool voor ieder gebruik op beschadigde en/of vervormde
onderdelen. Controleer alle leidingen en onderdelen op slijtage, lekkages en defecte onderdelen en
als laatste dient men te controleren of alle kleppen nog goed sluiten. Indien er sprake is van een
mankement/defect, stel de verftank met spuitpistool dan buiten gebruik tot dit verholpen is.

7. Garantie
1. De garantie treed in werking op de datum vermeld op de aankoopnota en heeft een
geldigheid van 12 maanden.
2. De garantie is niet overdraagbaar zonder schriftelijke toestemming van Uw leverancier.
3. Zonder aankoopnota kan geen aanspraak op garantie worden gemaakt.
4. Garantie is alleen van toepassing als het product volgens de bijgeleverde gebruiksaanwijzing
gebruikt wordt en uitsluitend voor het doel waarvoor het is ontworpen.
5. Er mogen geen wijzigingen aan het product worden uitgevoerd.
6. De garantie is niet van toepassing bij onoordeelkundig gebruik.
7. Eventuele verzendkosten vallen niet onder de garantie bepaling.
8. Reparaties dienen uitsluitend door Uw leverancier te geschieden. Elk door derden
uitgevoerde reparatie(s) zullen (zal) de aanspraak op garantie doen vervallen.
9. Reparaties gedurende de garantie periode zal de geldigheid niet verlengen. Wel wordt een
garantie op de reparatie van drie maanden afgegeven mocht de reguliere garantietermijn
vervallen.
10. De eventueel uit te voeren onderhoudswerkzaamheden, beschreven in de
gebruiksaanwijzing, dienen tijdig uitgevoerd te worden.
11. Voor garantie kunt u enkel terecht bij het verkooppunt waar u het artikel heeft aangekocht.

1. General
Before starting to use the machine you need to read and fully understand the manual!!!
This manual contains important information about the proper way of installing, operating and
maintaining the equipment described in this manual. When using any paint tank with spray gun there
are a different kind of risks that you may incur, risks in personal injuries or property damage.
Everyone who comes into contact with the installation, maintenance or operation of the Zionair paint
tank with spray gun must be fully familiar with the contents of this manual. To protect yourself
against personal injury or property damage you need to follow the following information and
instructions in this manual.
Every Zionair paint tank with spray gun is manufactured in accordance with the PED 97/23/EC. Every
paint tank with spray gun is supplied with a manual including a declaration of conformity. These must
be stored and kept up to date properly.
Because of quality reasons constant improvements are going to be made on the equipment, Zionair
reserves the right to alter specifications of the equipment described in this manual.
2. Safety rules
General safety regulations
1. Before operating the machine, make sure you have fully read and understood the entire
contents of this user manual.
2. Check the machine for defects previous to each use, in case of a defect or when the machine
does not function properly, first have it repaired by a specialized person/company.
3. At all times wear protective clothing, think of work overalls, work shoes, suitable gloves,
breathing protection and a facial mask.
4. Keep the working environment clean and well-lit, debris and bad lighting are factors that
cause dangerous situations.
5. Make sure the work area is clean and well-lit, mess and bad lighting enlarge the chance for
dangerous situations.
6. Never use this machine in a dangerous working environment.
7. Keep kids and visitors at a safe distance, it is strictly forbidden to spray when children/others
are in the vicinity.
8. Make your workshop child-proof by using hanglocks on main switches and removing keys
when the machine is not being used.
9. At all times wear breathing protection and safety glasses when opening the cover after using
the machine.

Specific safety regulations for paint tank with spray gun
1. Prevent breathing in paint at all times, wear respiratory protection at all times when one is
spray painting. Breathing in paint causes serious lung problems.
2. Disconnect the device from the compressed air supply before cleaning it or performing
maintenance.
3. The compressed air hose should be closable by means of a tap/valve and the compressed air
is to be free of water, oil and other pollutions.
4. Check the machine previous to each use for damaged and/or defect parts. Pay special
attention if all seals are still good and check all hoses for leakages.
5. At all times use your common sense when operating tools.
PAY ATTENTION! Failure to heed these instructions may cause damage to materials and/or
injuries!
3. Assembly
Unpacking
Remove the carton and check the paint tank with spray gun for damage, defect parts etc.. In case of
damage through transport or defect parts, immediately contact your Zionair-retailer.
Assembly
1. Install the pressure regulator onto the swivel adaptor on the tanklid. Check the bottom of the
regulator for the location of the tank connection.
2. Install the lift handle in the threaded hole in the center of the tank lid, tighten the hex nut.
3. Connect the air supply hose to the air inlet fitting on the tank pressure regulator.
4. Attach the atomization air hose to the air outlet fitting on the tank pressure regulator
opposite to the air inlet fitting.
5. Connect the material hose to the fluid outlet adaptor located on the tank lid.
4. Operation
Instructions for the pressure regulator
The pressure regulator regulates the amount of pressure in the tank. This regulates the pressure of
the paint to the gun. Always start with a low tank pressure, for example 0 and set the pressure
gradually higher until the desired spray pattern is achieved. IMPORTANT! Before the connecting the
compressed air, close the pressure regulator of the tank by turning counterclockwise. Then connect
the compressed air and turn the pressure regulator gradually open to about 0.8 bar. Warning!
NEVER set the pressure higher than 3.4 bar!

Preparation
1. Mix/thin the paint according to the instructions of the manufacturer before pouring it into
the tank and strain the paint when it is in the tank. Do this to remove undissolparticles and
skins, these can clog the gun.
Tip: You can also put the entire can of paint in the tank if this fits instead of pouring it.
2. Place the lid on the tank and then tighten the clamps.
3. Make sure the work area is clean and well-lit, in addition, it should not be accessible to
children or animals, these may cause distraction.
4. Place the compressed air supply pipe down so that not about can stumble and that these are
not damaged. This should also be long enough so that one the paint tank can move freely
during the painting.
5. Before painting make sure the workpiece is free from dust, oil and moisture, pollution could
cause the paint does not/not stick to the workpiece.
Operation
1. First of all stir the paint well before one puts it in the tank and strain the paint when pouring
in the tank. Do this to remove suspended particles and skins, these can clog the gun.
2. The can of paint can also be placed into the tank as this fits instead of pouring it.
3. Place the lid on the tank and then tighten the clamps.
4. Turn the T-handle on the pressure regulator for the tank counterclockwise to close and set
the pressure regulator on the compressor in on the desired pressure for the spray gun.
5. Now set the pressure regulator for the tank to the required pressure in the tank. The greater
the distance in height of the spray gun to the tank is, the higher the pressure in the tank
should be. In general, the pressure in the tank between the 1.7 and 2.1 bar. When the
pressure in the tank high, simply to turn the T-handle of the pressure regulator to the desired
pressure, it is not necessary to press the gun trigger to release excess pressure.
Warning! The pressure in the tank should never be set higher than 5.5 bar!
Cleaning the tools
WARNING! Before one is going to start cleaning the tank, disconnect the air supply. Then release
the pressure of the tank by pulling on the ring of the pressure safety valve before the loosening the
clamps and removing the lid.
PLEASE NOTE! It is very important that the tank, fluid hose and the spray gun as fast as spraying is
finished, be cleaned.
1. Turn OFF the main air supply to the Paint Tank.
2. Relieve all pressure from the Paint Tank by turning the regulator T-handle counterclockwise
and then pull the ring on the safety valve until the pressure bleeds down.
3. Loosen the Lid Screws and tip the lid clamps back.
4. Tip the Paint Tank lid to one side.
5. Loosen the spray gun air cap retaining ring about three turns.
6. Turn on the air supply.
7. Cup a cloth over the spray gun air cap and pull the trigger. This forces the paint back through
the hose and into the Paint Tank.

8. Empty and clean the paint tank, and clean the parts that come into contact with the paint.
Use a suitable solvent.
9. Pour the solvent into the Paint Tank.
10. Replace the lid and tighten the Lid screws and clamps.
11. Spray until clean solvent appears.
12. Repeat steps 4 through 7.
13. Ensure that the ports to the safety valve, gauge, and outlets are free of hardened paint or
other materials which could prevent the free movement of air.
Note: Occasionally check the gauge. The needle should return to zero with the pressure off.
5. Maintenance
WARNING! Before performing maintenance or repairs, one needs to disconnect the paint tank
from the air supply and make sure that there is no more pressure in the tank. Also one needs to
immediately decommission the tool when there is a malfunction, abnormal noises, or leaks. Repair
the broken part first before using the device!
Check before each use
Check the paint tank with spray gun previous to each use for damaged and/or deformed parts. Check
all hoses for wear and tear and check parts for wear and tear, leakages and defect parts. In case of a
malfunction/defect, do not use the sandblasting cabinet until it has been repaired.

6. Warranty
1. The warranty enters into force on the date that is mentioned on the receipt and has a validity
of twelve months.
2. The warranty is not transferable without written permission of your distributor.
3. Warranty cannot be claimed without a receipt.
4. Warranty only applies when the product is used according to the included manual and is
used exclusively in the way it was designed for.
5. No changes can be made to the product.
6. The warranty does not apply in case of injudicious use.
7. Possible shipping costs are not covered by the warranty.
8. Repairs should exclusively be carried out by your supplier. Repair(s) carried out by others will
result in cancellation of the warranty.
9. Repairs that are carried out during the warranty period will not extend the validity of the
warranty. There will be given a warranty of three months on the repair itself in case the
regular warranty should expire.
10. Potential maintenance of the product, as described in the user manual, should be carried out
on time.
11. For the warranty U can only turn to the outlet where U bought the product.
