The Zoom/Dialer Model 24 is an award-winning product from Zoom Telephonics.
The dialer plugs in easily, just like a telephone, and uses a parallel connection to
provide powerful store-and-forward dialing for all of the phones on the line. Consumer
installation takes only seconds and requires no technical knowledge. The dialer
automatically selects calls to be routed to alternative service providers and allows the
service provider to remotely change the dialers' call selection parameters and dialing
directories. Remote management of the dialer is done with a Windows-based PC and
a Dialogic
®
voice board.
The Zoom/Dialer Model 24 is designed for the following services:

By making alternative carriers convenient and easy to use, service providers can
increase usage and revenue. Remote updates of the dialer allow service providers to
change carriers or access numbers while retaining customers.

Specifications
Dialer Operation:
The Model 24 can route calls to up to six network access numbers. The routing tables can hold up to 350 numbers, area
codes or prefixes which the dialer will act upon. The dialer can block, route, or pass calls.
The dialer can output a dialing string of up to 60 digits in addition to acting upon logical operators such as programmed
pauses or programmed detection of voice or tones. Pauses may be programmed in increments of one-tenth second, up
to a maximum pause of one hundred seconds.
The Model 24 may be remotely programmed using Zoom Dialer Management Software, a Windows 2000/XP computer,
and a Dialogic Voice Board. Download information is input to the dialer using DTMF. The management software has an
easy-to-use graphical interface and is purchased separately from the dialers. The management software requires a
system with a Pentium 4 processor running at 1.4 MHz or faster and one GB of available storage. A single PC can
manage up to 5,000 dialers.

programming using DTMF input.
