Safety
Intended use
The Noma automatic feeder is used to offer a full bowl of food to
domestic cats or dogs in a time-controlled manner. The device may only
be used for this purpose and only in dry rooms.
Avoiding risks of injury
There is a danger of death due to choking, swallowing or inhalation
when playing with packaging films.
Keep packaging materials away from babies and small children.
Do not allow children to play with packaging material.
The device is battery operated and contains small parts. Children can
swallow batteries and small parts. There is a danger of death!
Do not allow children to play with the device. The device is not a toy.
Keep batteries and small parts away from babies and small children.
The device may be used by people who cannot operate the device
safely. There is a risk of injury and incorrect operation.
Supervise children under 8 years of age and people with limited
abilities when handling the device.
If batteries are handled improperly, there is a risk of battery leakage.
Leaking batteries can cause injury and malfunction.
Pay attention to the polarity when inserting the batteries.
Always replace all the batteries at the same time.
Do not use batteries of different types or brands.
Remove all the batteries if you do not use the device for a long time.
Only set up or store the device indoors in a dry place.
Observe the following if batteries have leaked:
Avoid getting leaking battery fluid in contact with the skin and eyes.
Remove leaking batteries with rubber gloves.
Clean contaminated areas thoroughly with a damp cloth.

Avoid material damage and malfunctions
Opening the base unit irreparably destroys the device.
Only open the parts of the device that are described in these
instructions.
Do not attempt to repair the device.
Moisture can enter the device and damage the batteries or electronics.
Only set up the device in a dry place.
The housing is not dishwasher safe. Clean only with a damp cloth.
When cleaning the housing, make sure that no moisture penetrates
into the device.
Make sure that the underside is dry before inserting the feeding tray.
Notes on animal welfare
Most animals quickly get used to feeding with the device. However, they
can still damage the device by chewing on it or scratching it. Incorrect
filling may cause the device to malfunction. Damage, especially to the
electronics and batteries, or malfunctions can jeopardise animal welfare.
Get the animal used to the device.
Supervise the animal during the initial period when using the device.
Prevent any animal misbehaviour such as nibbling on or scratching at
the device.
Ensure that the animal does not damage the device.
If the animal has damaged the device and swallowed fragments or
batteries, consult a veterinarian immediately.
Position the device so that the animal can comfortably use all the
bowls. Do not place in niches or corners.
Place the device on a non-slip surface.
Do not overfill bowls.
Do not leave a bowl empty between filled bowls.
Ensure that sufficient fresh water is available to the animal in addition
to food.

Description
Task and function
The automatic feeder contains a feeding tray with five bowls for up to
five feedings. The filled bowls open one after the other after an
adjustable time interval.

Use
WARNING
Danger due to people who cannot operate the device
safely.
There is a risk of injury and incorrect operation.
Only allow children under the age of 8 and people with
limited abilities to handle the automatic feeder when
supervised.
Inserting batteries
You need 4×1.5V AA batteries. They are not included in the scope of
delivery.
The battery compartment and on/off switch are located on the underside
of the device.
Open the battery compartment: Loosen the screw in the battery
compartment cover with a small Phillips screwdriver.
Insert 4×1.5V AA batteries. Note the polarity when doing so: The
negative pole is in contact with the spring.
Close the battery compartment: Screw the battery compartment cover
back on.
Press the ‘On’ switch next to the battery compartment.
If the batteries are inserted correctly, the display on the front of
the device will now switch on.

Filling with animal feed
You can fill any number of bowls (i.e. bowls 5 to 3, 4 to 1, 3 to 2, etc.).
The filled bowls must be next to one another.
ATTENTION!
Incorrect filling may cause the device to malfunction.
Animal welfare is at risk.
Do not overfill the bowls.
Do not leave empty bowls between filled ones.
You cannot close the first filled bowl. It is used to feed the animal
immediately. If you’d like feeding to start after the set time interval,
leave the first bowl empty.
Pour pet food for one feeding
session into the first or second
empty bowl.
Press the ‘H/S’ button
.
The lid opening rotates clockwise
to the next empty bowl.
Pour pet food into this bowl.
Fill additional bowls as desired.

At the end, turn the lid anti
-
clockwise by hand back onto
the first bowl.
You can also remove the lid completely to fill the bowls (to remove
and replace the lid, see page 16).
Setting the time interval
You must set the time interval for the lid’s automatic rotation.
The display flashes during the setting process. The flashing stops
after 5 seconds without any button being pressed.
Press the ‘Hr’ button once.
The hour indicator flashes.
Press the ‘Hr’ button repeatedly to set the desired number of hours
(0–23).
Press the ‘Min’ button once.
The minute indicator flashes.
Press the ‘Min’ button repeatedly to set the desired number of
minutes (0–59).
Press the ‘Rst’ button.
The feeding interval is set.

Using the device
ATTENTION!
If the feeder is placed in a damp environment, moisture
may enter the battery compartment or the mechanics.
This can lead to malfunctions.
Place the device in a dry place.
Place the automatic feeder in a dry place in the house or apartment.
The program is run.
To run the program a second time, press the ‘Rst’ button after filling
again.
After the end of the program
Press the ‘Off’ switch on the back of the device to switch it off.
The display goes out.
The time intervals are not saved.

Cleaning the device
Removing the lid and the feeding tray from the
device
To remove the lid:
Press in the clip closure in the
lid handle with your thumb and
forefinger.
Remove the lid.
Turn the feeding tray anti-
clockwise until you hear a click.
Take out the feeding tray.
Cleaning
Clean the lid with a soft, dry cloth.
Wash the feeding tray with a mild detergent by hand.
Inspect the inside of the device for dirt or foreign objects. If there is
dirt or foreign objects, remove it / them.

Replacing the lid and the feeding tray
Align the triangle on the feeding tray with the triangle on the base
unit .
Insert the feeding tray.
The hook on the underside of the feeding tray thus engages in the
opening on the base unit.
Turn the feeding tray clockwise until you hear the click.
Place the lid so that the lugs on the underside of the lid handle
engage in the holders in the centre of the feeding tray.
Press the lid onto the device.
The device is ready for operation again.

Disposing of packaging and device
Dispose of the product in accordance with the regulations that apply
in your country.
Electrical and electronic equipment marked with this
symbol must not be disposed of together with household
waste. The equipment may contain hazardous
substances and substances that are harmful to the
environment. Dispose of the packaging material
separately from unsorted municipal waste in an
environmentally friendly manner at the end of its service
life in accordance with the regulations in force at the place
of use.
Distributors of electrical and electronic equipment as well as distributors
of food who regularly or permanently offer electrical and electronic
equipment are also obliged to take back old electrical and electronic
equipment free of charge. When purchasing a new appliance, the
distributor must, at the end-user's request, take back an old appliance of
the same type free of charge on a 1:1 basis. Even without a new
purchase, distributors are obliged to take back up to three old
appliances (max. edge length of 25 cm) free of charge at the end user's
request.
There are free collection points for old electrical appliances in your area
and, if necessary, other collection points for the reuse of appliances.
You can obtain the addresses from your city or local government. Old
appliances from private households that can be sent by parcel post can
also be returned. For this purpose, we will provide you with a return
label free of charge, which you can request at service@zooplus.com.
When doing so, ensure proper shipping packaging so that breakage is
avoided as much as possible and mechanical compaction or breakage
can be ruled out.
Please keep in mind that it is your responsibility to delete all personal
data on the device before returning it.

Batteries marked with this symbol must not be disposed
of together with household waste.
Remove old batteries, accumulators and lamps if
possible without destroying the device.
You are legally obliged to return all used batteries to a collection point in
your municipality/district or a retailer (free of charge). Batteries contain
hazardous substances which can be toxic. If they are disposed
improperly, they are harmful to the environment and have health effects
on humans, animals and plants.
