•Remove blank Cartridge from HALO preserver and discard.
•Remove new Cartridge from Cartridge Tube.
•Shake new Cartridge for 5 seconds before installing into
HALO.
•Thread new Cartridge into Preserver Body.
DO NOT OVERTIGHTEN OR CRUSH.
•A BLUE LIGHT indicates HALO is now operating properly and
ready for testing.
•Immediately after installing new Cartridge, insert HALO
into Holder and install cap.
•EXPOSURE TO AIR SIGNIFICANTLY REDUCES
CARTRIDGE LIFE.
Unscrew Light Housing from Preserver Body and install both
batteries into Light Housing.
Install Batteries
Install Cartridge

•Always test HALO before each new bottle by following the.
TESTING CARTRIDGE instructions above.
•Once you’ve confirmed the Cartridge is good (GREEN LIGHT),
insert into wine bottle immediately.
•A GREEN LIGHT will flash with any bottle motion,
indicating proper operation.
•HALO will not seal in some screw cap bottles
( necks are too large ).
•At least one glass of wine should be removed from bottle
before inserting HALO.
•To preserve Cartridge life, place HALO back into the
bottle immediately after pouring.
TESTING CARTRIDGE
USING HALO
•To perform a test, pull HALO out of Holder and reinsert firmly.
•HALO will flash alternating RED/GREEN indicating
cartridge testing.
•A solid Green or Red light will appear after the flashing stops.
GREEN = Cartridge is ready for use.
RED = Cartridge needs to be replaced.
•Always retest the Cartridge with each new bottle.
•HALO should immediately be returned to Holder, when
not in use.
•Remove blank Cartridge from HALO preserver and discard.
•Remove new Cartridge from Cartridge Tube.
•Shake new Cartridge for 5 seconds before installing into
HALO.
•Thread new Cartridge into Preserver Body.

•Remove Cartridge and place into Cartridge Tube before
replacing batteries. Replace using two LR44 batteries.
Battery Replacement:
•Verify Cartridge is screwed in completely.
( Do not over-tighten or crush ).
•Change Batteries
No Lights:
Cleaning:
•When needed, clean HALO using a damp cloth only.
•HALO is not dishwasher safe, do not submerge in water.
•EXPOSURE TO AIR SIGNIFICANTLY REDUCES
CARTRIDGE LIFE.
•Always store in Holder when not in use.
•Do not lay bottle on its side when using HALO.
•Shake new Cartridges for 5 seconds before installing
into HALO.
