1) Signal Indicators: Steady white lights from all 3 indicator lights (from top to bottom) show
signal strength. The more the lights are on, the stronger the signal. If the lights are off, it
may mean that the signal is weak, there is no signal detected or no SIM card has been
inserted.
2) Network Indicator
•Steady red light: No network, no SIM card inserted, no network service or other
problems.
•Steady blue light: Registered or connected to a 3G or LTE network.
•Steady white light: Registered or connect to a 5G network.
3) WiFi Indicator
•Steady white light: WLAN is working normally.
•Light is blinking: WPS function is on.
•Light is off: The WLAN function is off.
4) Power Indicator
•Steady white light : The external power supply is connected and the MC801A’s power
supply is working.
•Light is off: The device is off.
5) WPS button: Short press to turn on the WPS function. Long press (for about 10 seconds)
to turn it off.
6) External antenna connection.
7) Network/LAN port.

8) Power connector: Connects to the power adapter.
9) Nano SIM card slot and reset hole
•Nano SIM card slot: For installing the nano SIM card.
•Reset hole: Long press for about 3 seconds to restore the MC801A to its factory
settings.
How to install the SIM card
Using a nano SIM, insert the SIM card into the MC801A’s card slot in the direction shown
until it clicks into place.
How to turn on the MC801A
After connecting the power adapter, the device will automatically start and connect to the
internet.
How to connect to the internet though the MC801A
•Via WiFi: Open the WiFi (WLAN) settings on your mobile device, select the SSID of
the MC801A and enter the password indicated on the modem’s product label at
the bottom of the device. Once successfully connected, your mobile device can
access the internet.

•Via Network (RJ45)/LAN cable: Connect your computer to any of the LAN ports
behind the modem and your computer and you can access the internet directly.
Configuring the MC801A
Should you wish to reconfigure the modem, you can log in to the device management
page of the MC801A to change the default settings.
1. Check the product label at the bottom of the device to get the device management
page IP address and log in details.
2. Using your computer or mobile device, access IP address using any web browser and
key in the login details at the device management page.
3. Change the MC801A’s settings as required.
