Device Ports
Requirements
Make sure you have the following things before you start:
•INTERNET ACCESS: You need a SIM card from an LTE ISP
(Internet Service Provider). You may also need a PIN code to use
the SIM card.
Installing the LTE Device
Before you begin, ensure that you are familiar with all safety and
accident prevention procedures necessary for working at heights
and with electricity.
Do NOT install the LTE Device during a lightning storm.

Choose a Location
The LTE Device can be mounted on a pole or antenna mast using the
supplied bracket mount.
• Choose a mounting point that is sturdy enough to hold the LTE
Device, even during high winds.
• When choosing a location to install the LTE Device, remember that
the LTE Device’s front panel should point towards your service
provider’s nearest base station. If you are not sure where this is,
consult your service provider.
• You do not need to be able to see the base station from the LTE
Device’s position; there may be objects such as trees and buildings
in the way without signal loss. However, if you experience difficulties
with signal reception, a Line of Sight (LoS) connection may produce
better results.
• It is suggested that you transport the LTE Device to its intended
installation location in its original protective packaging.
Insert a SIM Card

2. Align and twist the cover clockwise to tighten it into the LTE Device.
Make sure the LTE Device is turned off before you insert your SIM
card. It is recommended to NOT connect the PoE cable before you
do this step. Otherwise, the SIM card may be damaged.
Grounding
1. Use the M4 screw to secure the ground cable to the ground hole on
the LTE Device’s rear panel as shown.
2. Attach the other end of the ground cable to a wall or the ground.

7. Repeat steps 1 to 6 to connect a PoE and VoIP cable on the LTE
Device.
8. Connect the CAT5 Ethernet cable which is already connected to the
LTE Device to the provided PoE injector’s OUT port.
Do not connect a computer or a switch directly to the PoE injector’s
OUT port due to the high PoE power (48V).
9. Connect the IN port of the PoE injector to a computer with an Ethernet
cable for initial configuration.

Pole Mount the LTE Device
To avoid the danger of rainwater entering the LTE Device, install it vertically (with
the connectors pointed down).
You can install the LTE Device vertically with a +15, 0, or -15 degree
angle relative to the pole. The connectors should be pointed down.
1. Insert the U bolt through the appropriate pair of pole bracket holes.

2. Align the four edge holes on the pole bracket with the screws on the
rear of the LTE Device.
Connecting to the Internet
1. Open a web browser and go to https://192.168.1.1.
2. Enter the default Username (admin) and Password (1234), and then
click Login.
If the login screen does not open, make sure you allow web browser pop-up
windows, JavaScript and Java permissions. Your computer should also be
set to get an IP address automatically from a DHCP server. See your User’s
Guide for more information.

Einen Standort auswählen
Das LTE Device kann mit der beiliegenden Montagehalterung auf einem
Stangen- oder Antennenmast befestigt werden.
• Wählen Sie einen Befestigungspunkt, der stabil genug ist, um das
LTE Device selbst bei starkem Wind zu halten.
• Achten Sie bei der Auswahl eines Standorts für die Installation des
LTE Device darauf, dass die Vorderseite des LTE Device zur
nächsten Basisstation Ihres Dienstanbieters zeigt. Wenn Sie nicht
wissen, wo sich diese befindet, kontaktieren Sie Ihren
Dienstanbieter.
• Sie müssen die Basisstation von der Position des LTE Device nicht
sehen können. Objekte wie z.B. Bäume und Gebäude stellen
möglicherweise keinen Signalverlust dar. Wenn Sie allerdings
Probleme mit dem Signalempfang haben, kann eine
Sichtverbindung (LoS) bessere Ergebnisse liefern.
• Es wird empfohlen, das LTE Device in der Originalverpackung zum
Installationsstandort zu transportieren.
Einsetzen einer SIM-Karte
1. Setzen Sie Ihre SIM-Karte ein.

2. Drehen Sie die Abdeckung im Uhrzeigersinn, um sie am LTE Device
zu befestigen.
Stellen Sie sicher, dass das LTE Device ausgeschaltet ist, bevor Sie
Ihre SIM-Karte einsetzen. Es wird empfohlen, das PoE NICHT vor
diesem Schritt anzuschließen. Die SIM-Karte könnte anderenfalls
beschädigt werden.
Erdung
1. Verwenden Sie die M4 Schraube, um das Erdungskabel an der
Erdungsöffnung an der Rückseite des LTE Device wie dargestellt zu
befestigen.
2. Bringen Sie das andere Ende des Erdungskabels an einer Wand
oder am Boden an.

7. Wiederholen Sie die Schritte 1 bis 6 zum Anschluss eines PoE und
VoIP Kabels am LTE Device.
8. Schließen Sie das CAT5 Ethernetkabel, das bereits mit dem LTE
Deviceverbunden ist an den OUT Anschluss des beiliegenden Injektors
an.
Schließen Sie keinen Computer oder Switch direkt an den OUT
Anschluss des PoE Injektors wegen der hohen PoE Spannung
(48V) an.
9. Verbinden Sie den IN Anschluss des PoE über ein Ethernetkabel mit
einem Computer für die erstmalige Einrichtung.

Stangenmontage des LTE Device
Zur Verringerung der Gefahr, dass Regenwasser in das LTE Device eintritt,
installieren Sie es vertikal (mit den Anschlüssen nach unten zeigend).
Sie können das LTE Device vertikal in einem +15, 0, oder -15 Grad
Winkel relativ zur Stange installieren. Die Anschlüsse sollten nach unten
zeigen.
1. Fügen Sie den U-Bolzen durch das entsprechende Paar der
Stangenbefestigungsöffnungen ein.

2. Richten Sie die vier Eckenöffnungen der Stangenhalterung mit den
Schrauben an der Rückseite des LTE Device aus.
Herstellen der Verbindung zum
Internet
1. Öffnen Sie einen Webbrowser und gehen Sie zu https://192.168.1.1.
2. Geben Sie den Standard Benutzernamen (admin) und das
Kennwort (1234) ein, und klicken Sie auf Login (Anmelden).
Wenn sich das Anmeldefenster nicht öffnet, stellen Sie sicher, dass Ihr
Internetbrowser Popup-Fenster, JavaScript und Java Permissions zulässt.
Der Computer sollte außerdem so eingestellt sein, dass er eine IP-Adresse
automatisch von einem DHCP-Server bezieht. Weitere Informationen finden

Elija una ubicación
El LTE Device se puede montar en un poste o mástil de antena con el
soporte de montaje incluido.
• Elija un punto de montaje con la resistencia suficiente para sujetar el
LTE Device, incluso con vientos fuertes.
• Cuando elija una ubicación para la instalación del LTE Device,
recuerde que el panel frontal del LTE Device debe quedar orientado
hacia la estación base más cercana de su proveedor de servicios. Si
no está seguro de su ubicación, consulte a su proveedor de
servicios.
• No es necesario que pueda ver la estación base desde la posición
del LTE Device; puede haber objetos como árboles y edificios en la
trayectoria sin que se pierda la señal. Sin embargo, si experimenta
dificultades con la recepción de la señal, una conexión con línea de
visión (LoS) puede producir mejores resultados.
• Se recomienda transportar el LTE Device en su embalaje original a
la ubicación de instalación prevista.
Insertar una tarjeta SIM

2. Alinee y gire la tapa en sentido horario para fijarla en el LTE Device.
Asegúrese de que el LTE Device está apagado antes de insertar la
tarjeta SIM. Se recomienda NO conectar el cable PoE antes de
realizar este paso. De lo contrario, la tarjeta SIM podría dañarse.
Conexión a tierra
1. Utilice el tornillo M4 para fijar el cable de tierra en el orificio de tierra
del panel trasero del LTE Device, como se muestra.
2. Fije el otro extremo del cable de tierra a una pared o en el suelo.

7. Repita los pasos 1 a 6 para conectar un cable PoE y VoIP en el LTE
Device.
8. Conecte el cable CAT5 Ethernet que ya está conectado al LTE Device
al puerto de salida (OUT) del inyector PoE.
No conecte un ordenador o switch directamente al puerto de salida
del inyector PoE debido a la alta tensión del PoE (48V).
9. Conecte el puerto de entrada (IN) del inyector PoE a un ordenador
con un cable Ethernet para la configuración inicial.
