ES-1016/ES-1024 for Workgroup Application
Simple-to-use
Both the ES-1016 and ES-1024 feature auto-sensing
10/100Mbps ports that automatically detect the speed and
duplex mode of attached networking devices, making
installation fast and easy.
Auto-MDI/MDI-X
Auto-MDI/MDI-X features in both the ES-1016 and ES-
1024 automatically adjust the transmit/receive pins within
a port, rendering crossover cables unnecessary. Auto
MDI/MDI-X is based on signals detected from the wires of
attached devices.
Flow Control for Congestion Prevention
The IEEE 802.3x standard-based flow control allows both
the ES-1016 and ES-1024 to prevent traffic congestion by
informing attached devices to stop transmission. When
the switches detect that the buffer of each port is nearly
full, attached devices are requested to wait until new
data can be accepted. Flow control allows 200 Mbps full
duplex connections between servers and switches with
minimum data transfer loss.
Flexible Design for Both Desktop and Cabinet Installation
Whether the ES-1016 and the ES-1024 are the only
devices in an office, or components of an extensive,
complicated network, the 1U, 19” rack-mountable
design makes both models ideal for desktop or
cabinet installation.
