1.Solidgreenwhentheunitispoweredon.
2.Blinkingredwhencommunicatingwithsoftware.
3.Blinkinggreenwhenthefirmwareisworkingandthe
unitiswaitingforacommand.

Herearesomethingstotry:
•Makesurethattheitemsthatyouaretryingtoreadareequippedwith3MRFIDtags.
•Makesurethattheunit’sgreenpowerlightisflashing,indicatingthatthereaderhaspower.IfthepowerlightisNOT
flashing,checktheUSBconnection.
•Makesurethatthereader’sredcommunicationslightisflashingtoindicatethatitiscommunicatingwiththesoftware.If
thecommunicationslightisnotflashing,makesurethesoftware(deliveredwithyoursystem)isinstalledandrunning
onyourcomputer.
Readrangeisreduced(lessthan4in.)
•Checktomakesurethattheunitisatleasttwoinches(15cm)fromanymetalsurfaces.Somelocationsmayhavehidden
